For warriors, the biggest, ugliest, bulkiest suit of plating I can get my hands on. Helmet optional depending on how they look. Warriors are walking tanks and everyone, Cassandra included, will look the part.

For rogues, leather or mail along with a mandatory nice hat (hopefully the proverbial Sex Hat).

For mages, longcoats, accept no substitutes. Let's hope mage hats also don't look like **** this time.

About the flaming inqusitor armor set.... Will there be different types other then the heavy armor? Flaming plate does seem to be ineffective to wear for my assassin rogue

Hope its the same way as the flaming weapons! I like those

Skitter's costume from Worm.  I will then only use jars of bees as a weapon and refuse all healing even when it'd be sensible to receive it.  I'll also make my character hilariously tall and flat chested and oh my god I just realised I could seriously create Skitter in Inquisition and I'm going to have to rework all my character ideas around this.

Something heavy, long and fabulous.

Medium-heavy warrior armor with a heavy battle skirt or coat tails integrated.

Like Dragonslayer Ornstein's armor from Dark Souls:

The most beautiful armor ever.

1) Main Inquisitor (Human Male Mage) will definitely be wearing some armor. I like the new Mage apparel in Inquisition, but I always enjoy my main Mage character to have some nice armor. Not too thick or bulky. Something similar to the Rogue Inquisitor armor shown in the one of the demos of The Hinterlands.

2) ^ Same with my Female Qunari Mage. She may even wear thicker/bulkier armor on account of her size/intimidating presence.

3) Male Elf Mage will be sporting one of those really fashionable leather Mage coats. Perhaps one made of drakeskin ;)

4) Female Elf Mage will be wearing something reminiscent of her Dalish roots. Can't comment further considering we haven't seen the Dalish armors yet.

5) Female Human Rogue will be wearing something in the style of that --> the background image of this website. Looks very appropriate for the vision I have in my head.

6) Female Dwarf Rogue will be wearing light armor. Thick cloth/sturdy leather, perhaps with some metal plating or chainmail.

7) Male Elf Rogue will be proudly wearing medium armor; pointy and shiny, as piercing as his arrows/back-stabs.

8) Male Qunari Warrior will be wearing the thickest, meanest, sturdiest armor possible.

9) Male Dwarf Warrior will hopefully be wearing very heavy armor resembling fine Dwarven craft. The armor the Dwarf Warrior was wearing in the E3 demo was very good looking, I must say.

10) Male Human Warrior will be wearing something akin to the "commercial/canon" Inquisitor that we see in all the trailers. Huge, shiny armor, the dragon helm, and an appropriate broadsword to match.

11) Female Elf Warrior will be likely wearing Medium armor of Dalish craft. Haven't put much thought into this one, admittedly.

Anything svelte. The enemy can get something good to look at before it dies.

But I definitely want to steal the arm armor and spear-staff-thingy from this guy... ;)

That concept just makes me think of Gilgamesh from FF :P

Personally I will decide on my Inquisitors' dress when I see what they can wear.

For my Qunari or human mage - something with coat tails, preferably. Qunari will probably have bits of armour added while human will just have a stylish coat. I really liked that style on the DA2 Warden robes, Fugitive's Mantle, Champion Robes, etc. It just looks good. The Dalish mage will have something similar to Merrill's robe.

My dwarven warrior will have something practical, like the Legion of the Dead armour. My human warrior will have something elegant/extravagant like the golden DLC armour in DA2, or Cailan's armour.

Dalish rogue will have something like Athenril's armour, practical but earthy. Human rogue will go for something a little fancier but practical, probably similar to the Arms of the River Dane. Qunari will wear light but efficient armour like Skyrim's elven armour. Dwarf will wear something completely impractical, like Isabela's tunic but with trousers.

I want my armor to be so heavy and so metal that I need to pilot it, not wear it.

467px-Dark_protagonist.jpg  This is so far is my main favorite armor look! I really hope its in the game. I assume its for a mage, but regardless is would be awesome to wear as a female Qunari!!!

Also I want to be able to wear a hood regardless of class! (also really want fur armor)

Heavy armour made for women...fed up with the male heavy armour that makes my characters look bulky. Not overboard though, just a slight mod for ****** and waistline would do. Looking forward tot he return of Arcane Warrior skills...ok they have a different name now but....awesome battlemage!

I want something that's similar to the redesigned Grey Warden armor from DA2

Spoiler

Obivously not in the colours and symbolism, as I intend to rep the Inquisition whole-heartedly, but just the general design of some heavy plating/brigandine, but still light enough to move smoothly in.

I've always had a thing for Mail-based armors, especially on Female characters. I admit with just the tiniest amount of shame that I find that they have an innate ability to strike a compromise between my heterosexually-driven desires and combat practicality.

You and I have the same taste here. I especially love the hooded outfit, but I would prefer something other than all black. :)

I might be playing a Knight Enchanter, but I'll be playing a swashbuckling Knight Enchanter thank-you-very-much.

Since I'm a mage pretending to be a warrior, the most appropriate armor choice is the one I'll be taking: Rogue armor.

Stylish brigandine type stuff, long coats are fine too. Gotta have the wide-brimmed hat motif going

Gonna be a female elf mage with a punked out set of plate armor. Why? Because punk you that's why.

Ain't no body gonna mess with a mage clad in steel casting firestorms and blizzards.

Would probably get a bit cooked in there but it's better than having your robe set ablaze.

Edit: Would you mess with these guys?     Yeah didn't think so

Armors4.jpg

one on the left I would, he could swing that sword maybe once before his arms where to tired to lift it :P, one on the right has a decent longsword and would chop me to kindling.

If I have to wear an armor , I would like it like this one XD If not , then at least give us the option to DYE our armor as we like .

As for mages robes ? I only want better hat then what we had before...cose...I had to add a mod that hide them , so horrible looking they were .
