Mobile devices I can understand the logic, but the Wii U is a dedicated gaming console like the Xbox One and the PS 4. How is it not considered gaming? Especially when at the moment, it's the only console platform with decent exclusives.

games are games, platform is irrelevant. i don't mind calling someone who plays Angry Birds a gamer.

 

personally i'm happy PC gaming has different demographic than mobile and/or console. it would be devastating if it was the same... walking dead made me barf, it'd happen all over again.

The thing is that it doesn't matter if mobile gaming meets some arbitrary definition of "gaming" made by nerds on forums.

 

It makes money and the risk is much lower than titles for "core" gamers. If you're a bean counter at a publisher or developer it certainly seems attractive to pivot away from the big budget titles for PC and consoles, no?

I think gamers are too divisive. We have platform wars, console wars within the console platform, terms like "girl gamers", "casual gamers", "hardcore gamers", etc etc

 

Bout time we just called each other gamers, united for the sake of ourselves, our friends, our medium of entertainment, and overall grow up.

 

These terms do nothing but harm us in the end of the day.

Uh, your momma's so fat....most likely because she developed an eating disorder after her marriage completely collapsed and eating was the only reasonably healthy way she could cope with the loneliness that was further perpetuated by the increased body mass that made her undesirable to other men?

It is not a matter of opinion though, it is a fact. Mobile Gaming actually offers more inputs for a system to interact with.. 

must not think of the nature of those inputs
