Why is there a Dragon Age Origins character link on my account here? It leads to here, but this is not my profile and I have not entered anything in my account settings.

 

Edit: It seems to only be on this thread? Why is that?

looks like it was corrupted link that somehow made its way into your account. I'd suggest you clear it out and make sure they're gone. then find your own links to put it in your own profiles in case it happens again.

The thing is, there is nothing to clear out

 

I even tried to enter my own profile link, but it still takes me to that other profile in that one thread.

Right now it looks like none of the registered game icons are showing up under our avatars. I'll post this to make sure mine are not showing either. I think they are working on the old BSN, so I would give a little time to see if it straightens out. Wonder why it is taking you to MerAnnes profile? That is weird.

 

Nope, mine are showing up under my avatar, so that's not it...

Wellll that is my avatar - my old original avatar that Bioware/EA was incapable of migrating to the new forums.  I don't know why it would show up for someone else. 

 

I had to jump through some hoops to get my DA/UE icon to show up and was too lazy to do the same for the DAII.

Well, it's still there. So far, that seems to be the only thread that it happens in, so I guess it's not a very big deal. I just hope it doesn't start showing up on other threads.

Haha, this is getting weird. I made another post in that thread, and now I have 3 profiles linked to my account that aren't mine??

 

 

Oddly enough, I just noticed that they're the profiles of the poster above me.

 

In fact, it's not only me. This is happening to others. If you take a look at Cassandra's post, you can see if you click the links, those are not her profiles, but the profiles of LPPrince.

You are not the only one seeing that. And I have seen it on Pages in differend threads before.

The Pages, where it happens, have one thing in common: A Post with " Guest_[...]_* " as the Name.

Before the Post from the Guest the Links seem to be right. But after that post the Links do not appear in the Post they belong to, but in the next one. And if there are 2 Posts by Guests on one Page the following Profillinks are off by 2 Posts.

 

Because I have never seen wrong placed Links on Pages without Post by Guests, I belive this Guestsposts are the reason for this.

I've cleared the cache which seems to have fixed the problem. The bug might have something to do with deleted accounts not properly removing their cache data. We'll add it to our backlog.
