Does anyone know CheshireKat, Lady_Aescwyn, Scroll, or spookycatlover on twitter or tumblr? Besides a few other people I just tweeted at (having just remembered that I made an account for GE's #cullenparty), they're the only ones who haven't read their message yet.

ALRIGHT, so I have completed, for the most part, the main body of the letter. I have not added the hashtag or any of  the personal notes just to first ensure that, at least this portion is okay. Please tell me if I missed anything as I've tried my best to consolidate and add everyone's voice in it. It wasn't easy, but I tried my best! :D

Dear Dragon Age Team at Bioware,

First and foremost, we would like to applaud all of you for all the hard work, effort, and time you all have put into developing such a beloved series. The fact that you have dedicated such a large amount of your time in creating the best possible game for us fans, is both heartwarming and inspiring; and it shows. You all have been so wonderful, engaging, and passionate about your work, ready and willing to listen to suggestions, concerns, and questions that fans have sent your way. Every time, you have addressed these concerns with tact and grace that is both very humbling and encouraging. By interacting with us, making us apart of the building process for your games, you have changed the way that many have come to view games. It has brought people together, and mostly for the better. Everlasting friendships and understanding have flourished in the process, and we have all of you to thank for that.

Dragon Age is a special series, one unlike many other franchises before it. It makes us laugh, it makes us cry, it makes us angry, and it reaches into emotional depths that not many other games can reach. It causes us to take pause, evaluate our lives, and the lives of others. It teaches us to take a step back and think about our decisions. Sometimes, it allows us to escape the reality of our own lives, or tell us a story for dreams to come. Ultimately, it brings people together with a common love and differing, unique experiences.  The point that we are trying to make is that Dragon Age has, in one way or another, made a difference in our lives, and we have you all to thank for that. You put yourselves out there, working day in and day out, putting your all into a game that you are probably unsure will be received well. We are here to tell you just how much we appreciate everything that you are doing for us, words that we’re sure you probably don’t hear often.

By putting all your efforts into the games, you have created a world that takes on a life of its own. The characters that come out of your stories are so believable that they become beloved by many a fan. Cullen is one such character. Yes, perhaps there is a bit of gushing involved, but it is all in good jest and among friends, ones brought together for a common love of a character. Five years ago, many fans believed that they would never see this minor character again. They thought, because he was minor, any other gaming company would ignore their requests to see this particular character again. But, that’s what sets all of you aside. Granted, we understand it has to make sense story wise, but you all listen to your fans and try to work with them the best way that you can! If you think that character can fit within the plot of the story, you actually consider placing them in it. That is not something many people are used to seeing in the wide range of things, especially in the gaming industry. You have taken an otherwise disposable background character and made him progress in ways we never thought imaginable. We have you to thank for this, you to thank for at least hearing and considering our voices, no matter how small of a contribution it makes.

Today, we want to turn this around and make it about you. Now you are the ones that deserve to be heard, by all of the fans that adore you and the work that you all have been putting into this project. Today, you are the ones with the voices and the ones that are receiving gifts. Dragon Age is a gift to us; you all should know that, a product of your own creation made just for us. It’s high time someone did something for all of you.

So, thank you.

Thank you all very, very much!

                                                                                                With enormous gratitude,

                                                                                                            #Cullenites

I didn't know if I should add gratitude for Greg Ellis in there, in case it was just meant for the developer team and not the voice actors. Please let me know what you think!

Also, I wrote half of this while half asleep, so if something doesnt sound right or needs to added on to, mention it! I probably glossed over it with bleary eyes when proofreading. xD

Christ, shadow. Way to make girl tear up a bit. That was wonderful! I loved it! Thank you so much for all the effort you have put into this. Each sentence is filled with heart and gah - I'm going to go eat some chocolate! Bravo! <3

I figured, if individual actors/devs were to be commemorated, it's best through individual notes. That way it's more personal and special, while not alienating anyone from the dev team/voice actor crew. I wanted this to be the umbrella to all the other notes everyone would send.

Love the letter! I think we'll thank Greg Ellis on twitter. He's not a dev, after all.
I noticed a typo in the 1st paragraph "making us apart of". I think it should be "a part of", right?

Team twitter is ready, btw. When will the cake arrive? And who will we send the letter to?

Thanks Shadow,

It's a heartfelt letter and one I'm sure the devs will be happy to receive.  Thanks for all your efforts.

Edit - the only constructive criticism I can think of is you may want to break it up into paragraphs just to make it a little easier to read.   :)

I reread that sentence. For some reason, "By interacting with us, a part of the building process for your games, -" doesn't really sound well. Perhaps some other way to word it?

How about, 'incorporating us as a part of___"?
