I would probably get by better than I would in Westros, but far worse than I would in, say, Narnia.
How would you get by in Thedas?

I'd possibly end up a scribe, preferably for nobles rather than chantry. Or a serving wench, haha.

Prostitution seems legal in most of Thedas.

I would need a mabari suit, a compass, and a jar of bees. Should be fine.

Assuming I came to Thedas with my mind but a non-defective body, who knows? I'd probably a backstreets healer, or a scribe of some kind, since psychology doesn't seem to be in high demand, and my knowledge of biology would be rendered far less useful by the variety of flora and fauna that I'd have no clue about.

I love to study so I would probably make my way through life as a scholar.
....and then get murder knifed by a Warden after I make my greatest discovery.

Will it be your own fault that they do because you decide to be stubborn?

Be a servant somewhere heavily armed and guarded so I am protected by proxy.

I'd prefer to write fiction that deals with political intrigue and the life of the infamous Orlesian bard, Jacques Lien, the protagonist of such tales as The Apostate who Loved Me, From Tevinter with Love, Lyrium Idols Are Forever, Thedas Is Not Enough and Qunraker.
What about Dragon Eye or Riftfall?

I'm working toward my master's degree in social work, with a cultural anth. background, so I'd probably end up as a case manager for recovering lyrium addicts or a parole officer of some kind. My husband's a carpenter- those skills are always useful. We'd get by.
