What I mean is this think about it! it will be the first time you can be an Elf with an Elven romance! And not a City Elf but a Dalish it means that the Dalish usually mostly keep romancing between them selves it is very rare that a Dalish elf will go romance a human... Qunari inquisitor is a vashoth they don't care who they romance like the elves, human well its a human.. Dwarf inqwuisitor= Surface Dwarf.. they don't usually care if its a human or elf or whatever

I don't understand what you're asking, do you want them to add a female elf romance who is straight? Because that won't happened 3 months before release. If you want them to make Sera bi or straight, sorry but that's not going to occur because thats who she is, she is Lesbian. Now if you are suggesting in future games for there to be a straight or bi female elf, most certainly. I could see them continuing to try to give us varying LIs in all future games.

In Origins, we could romance Zevran as a City Elf or a Dalish Elf (elf/elf). And we could romance Alistair, Morrigan, or Leliana as a City Elf or a Dalish Elf (human/elf). 
But I share your enthusiasm! I'm looking forward to my Inquisition love fest.

I'm sure we'll get an array of romances as they do more games. But, as in life, the characters are more than just romanceable bots and thus do not exist for the purpose of being romanced.

A female elven love interest for a male elven protagonist would've been nice.

 

I'm happy for the players who are able to have their character pursue a romance with their female elven Inquisitor and Sera (and I hope Solas is available for men and women who are interested in romancing the apostate with their main character), but I see your point about the limitation of the romance options for a Dalish male protagonist with exclusively Andrastian human women. I think an elven romance would've been interesting, since it's never been possible to romance an elven woman with a male elven character, and I think there's a lot of common ground that the two would have - being members of a marginalized group of people who are constantly dehumanized in Andrastian society - and it would've been interesting to see how their potentially different cultural views would've worked out. There's also the inability to have elven children that can be a factor for some playthroughs, regardless of the cultural background of the elven main character (since the Dalish and the city elves want to see the elven race continue, and it's the reason we see arranged marriages in the Alienage).

I love all these threads about elven LIs. 'We need a female straight elf for our male elves!'. And yet we've gone through 3 games now without a single Dwarven LI of any gender/orientation. We are getting a Qunari LI before a dwarven one. If you want equality then elves are a few steps behind everyone else in line.

I agree that more dwarves, especially female dwarves are needed, is pretty sucky that the only female dwarf companion so far was Sigrun & she wasn't even a Li

I respectfully disagree. Straight guys have Cassandra and Josephine, both seem to be very interesting women. While a female dwarf of elf LI would have been nice, I am glad to see the bi and lesbian female inquisitors have Sera and Josephine to choose from. .

It's unusual for a Dalish to be in a relationship with a human but it's also unusual for one to be with a non Dalish elf. Our Inquisitor is unusual and you can always just not romance anyone if it doesn't feel right to you. That said more options are always good I guess, maybe you will get one in the next game? 

 

I do get where you are coming from though. If Solas is an LI and available to males I will be torn tbh because my PC will be generally mistrustful of humans. I feel like he would have more in common with Dorian that with Solas but I also feel like he would be hesitant to get involved with a human but not with an elf.
