I was cool with it.
You guys should start a band.

please no, they are right the way they are, I disliked the fact that everyone was bi in DA2 (specially Anders, who was completely ruined by Hepler's pre-teen yaoi fanfiction scripts).
Why don't you think on us too? Straight people reserves their right the same as any gay does. Leave Dorian Gay, leave Cassandra Straight that's all what i beg, not to romance everyone as if they were just mere sims that anyone can create in less than 2 minutes.

I'm not sure why you are coming across as so desperate. It's not like they're going to make her gay a day before the game comes out.
And Yaoi fanfiction scripts? Really dude?
I was cool with it.
But he was like, so extra extra cool with it.

Teagan: "It's Sera, obviously."
While I'm not interested in Cassandra as a romance, her personality is just not my type, I just wanted to drop in and say I have sympathy for the women out their who wanted to romance Cassandra. I feel so guilty because I'm a bisexual woman and don't mind playing male characters to boot and there's a lot of characters I like this time around. I'm very happy about Sera and Josephine and can't wait to romance either of them, they are both very much my type. Then there's Dorian too (had hoped for Varric as well, but alas, one of my wishes was bound not to come true). My only difficulty is going to choose between who is romance on the first playthrough...oh poor me, no threesomes/foursomes for me!
I was hoping Cassandra was going to be bisexual because, while I wasn't interested in romancing her, she's the first female character like that who has been a LI in a DA game. That way anyone who was interested in that kind of woman could romance her. Its disappointing it didn't work out that way this time. Bioware has done a pretty great job on the LI front this time, much better than it has done for LGBT gamers in the past, but there is still stuff that needs to be improved. That's alright, of course, but I hope Bioware realizes now how important this is for some people.

I didn't like the fact that everyone except Seb was bi in DA2 either, though that was mostly because I thought the romances suffered in comparison to DA:O. Plus, I felt that Anders was bi even in Awakening, so I wasn't really surprised when I got into DA2.
And yeah, I like the current set up for the LIs for DA:I. It makes it feel more real, tbh.
The whole thing with the Cassandra sex-gating was weird for a couple reasons, first because she was bisexual in DA2 (those who fought the Arishok one-on-one no doubt still remember that Cassandra had a crush on female Hawke after hearing about that from Varric) but also because she was a character that everybody wanted to romance, going all the way back to right after DA2 came out. You could make the argument that sex-gating the character that most fans already wanted to romance, rather than one of the other characters they'd never heard of, was even worse than the act itself of changing her from bisexual to straight, since it's really just being intentionally mean to the fans who they knew wanted to romance her for a couple years or so now, it's not like sex-gating adds anything to the romances for those allowed to enjoy them, it just takes away from those who aren't. But to the OP I would say don't despair, because I've romanced both Miranda and Morrigan as female PCs, you can do it too, it's not that hard if you know how
.
I'd say its more accurate to say Cassandra's line reflected more admiration than a crush.

It seems romance is limited to all but a few. And there is no need to grow a pair...just put two pears under your skin.

Yeah, it was closer to admiration than affection.
