Just wondering..
Am I the only one who can't bring myself to play as any other class but Rouge?

Maleficar Only
Edit: Dragon Age doesn't have a rouge class.

I can't stay away from mages. I like to run a a scripted party and mages are by far the hardest to script and scripting still can't let them unleash their AoE spells.

Rogue is my favorite class, with mage a distant 2nd. I just can't get into the warrior class - I'm easily bored and clobber, rinse, repeat is all I seem able to accomplish.

Out of curiosity OP, how many times have you completed the game?
In any case, if you like the game and enjoy playing it in general, my advice is to get out of your comfort zone and try out the other classes.

Mage/Arcane warrior is my hands-down favorite, but I have played them all several times. I was always in a hurry to get to level 7 so I could add AW to my mages ![]()

Right now I'm doing the rogue/warrior combo. Usually my favorite is the rogue/mage combo but I dislike that talents and spells are on mutually exclusive screens.

With Vestments of the seer from Witch hunt, helmet of deep, wicked oath, dalish ring, from promo,
Sash of forbidden secrets, the high regard of house dace, from Golems of amgarrak
the mage is plenty overpowered to make it to lv 7 when it can use blood dragon armor & the reapers cudgel,
as to not needing active cheating even for a mediocre player as myself on nightmare solo.
One thing tho, the leveling is too slow without tweaks, so i use an improved memory band to make lv 25 before game end

I typically prefer mages but rogue can be fun, for sure. Warrior is probably the hardest for me to get into.

I always play rogue, so I totally understand. Although I play my rogue as a warrior, so I'm sort of a cross class. ![]()

Mage. I keep going back to my mages. Once I even started a Cousland Rogue but used the console to make her a mage right after the initial cutscene.

The peanut gallery of the greater internet seems evenly divided between adoring mages, and adoring rogues. I hear a resounding silence for warriors, though ![]()
They really did rogue well. Before DAO, most games that had a rogue/thief class used it exclusively for stealing and running away. Some got back to their roots by introducing the traditional Dungeons and Dragons backstab - always rare, and fairly weak. Rogue in DAO has got that dual wield thing going on like D&D's rangers, and supercrit damage, so it's pretty awesome ![]()
