He gets drunk because he doesn't stop drinking...is he ever really sober?

 

 

I still want to play Get the Tranquil Drunk even if fade connection hinders his ability cause dwarves are minus fade connection as well.    Yay!!!  Drunkquisition!!

I wish you could get drunk, it bugged me that no matter how much Hawke drank at the Hanged Man she would not get drunk either she can knock them back and not get buzzed or the alcohol sucks at the hanged man. I did like the Cheers reference if you drink 30 plus drinks though.

Skyhold's supposed to have a tavern.  I would hope that means Bioware will let our PC's get drunk in there.

I'm kinda hoping to see Cassandra drunk.  I think it would be amusing.

Anyway, I think a tranquil can get physically drunk, but they won't make the same mistakes some folks make when under the influence.

Is that for real?  You must be pretty devoted... I get bored after about 2-3 drinks at the Hanged Man.  IMO, the best game to get drunk in is Red Dead Redemption. After a few shots of whiskey, Marston would start stumbling and knocking people down when he bumped into them.  Plus you could fistfight or randomly lasso people... good times.  If you drink too much though, he completely passes out in the middle of the saloon...

 

If we can drink in DAI, I hope it's at least as good as ME2's blurred vision...

Yes it is I read it online while trying to see if anything happend at all from drinking at the Hanged Man, but yes if you drink 30 plus drinks next time you walk in everyone will say Hawke! Just like in Cheers when they would say Norm!, plus there is Isabela's banter about the hanged man being a place to go where everyone knows your name lol

Varric says the same thing too if you pass by the place. I always get Hawke's drink number up over the course of the game. I have her visit the Hanged Man often so it just takes a few with each visit.

My next game, which will start up Sunday will be to get Hawke's drink up to 30+ and visit the bar more.   I didn't know that, only drank about 2 or 3 at most as well.

Have you seen the size of him? Smirnoff ice would even be able to get that four foot ginger bastard drunk. 

 

Actually it doesn't, he can defeat any qunari in a pint challenge and still be on his two feet... the only time i saw him falling was in DAA and because he was close to a huge keg with no supervision at all.

haha actually an interesting, funny question to wonder. 

i mean sometimes being drunk just intensifies whatever ur like at that time right? (i would have no clue - basing off what others have told me). so i think they'd just be really really calm and confused maybe with slurred speech and stuff.
