Hi, my name is JGDD and I'm a BAD TEAMMATE. I rage-gel/missile all the time. I tend to refuse reviving your dumb ass when you decide to go head to head with three brutes wielding your level I [insert weapon of choice] on the far side of the map all gangnam style. With nothing equipped I might add. I also have no qualms about shooting a missile or two at you between waves after you decided to revive me right under the enraged swarm of angry bees (three times in a row) on Glacier hazard instead of just letting them pass where I could peacefully rage-gel and get back into the action shortly. Your revive medal status must be amazing.

 

I've been known to clutch a pretty simple wave three objective after you all went ****** up standing out in the open like target dummies. It must have been a relief to finally see that last, lone brute just about dead knowing someone is capable of carrying you through to the end. That is until I quit the mission while only needing one final bullet to kill it. Mission Failed. Yeah, that was my way of saying good luck on your next attempt.

Of course. There's some humor in those antics and who doesn't like humor? It's kind of funny that some things haven't changed much since I started playing again. Although if I'm going to be fair the general PUG populace seems to be pretty capable most of the time. It's just those certain matches that brings out the rocket launcher to nuke the inept between waves.

I admit, purposely failing a mission to spite my teammates is something I haven't done yet. Something tells me I truly haven't played this game until I do

If I'm a biotic, and so are you, I'm your best friend. I'll pay attention to your rotations, and adapt accordingly to maximise the number of BE's.

 

I am guilty of 'suicide-revives', and will gel repeatedly just so I can revive you.

 

I'm missile-phobic, I'd rather use any other means possible. Missiles will generally only fly from me when everyone else is dead and I'm trying to revive you.

 

I get carried away with killing. If I reach a spawn first, I will do everything I can to eliminate every enemy, regardless of anything else (except objective waves where I complete them with an astounding single mindedness).

 

However, if I am significantly higher on the scoreboard than everyone else, I'll generally spend a wave or two admiring the scenery. Hydra is my favourite map, and I will likely spend more time admiring the backdrop than killing things.

Y'know, I get so focused on the finding spawns and administering death that it took me well over a year to realize Hydra had a dam on the map. Someone made a comment to me once like, "we were playing on the map with with the big dam." And I was like "uhh...I have no idea what you're talking about."

Rage gel isn't a correct term for me because I don't rage, I just gel.

Spot on. It isn't necessarily that I insta-gel because I'm raging (although that sometimes is the case), its that I can't stand being dead. Being dead is something which needs to be corrected immediately. If you happen to be standing close enough to me that you can start reviving me before I have a chance to hit the medi-gel button OK fine, but otherwise I'm using a medi-gel. You get 6 of them, after all.

Sometimes, when I get real annoyed at a bunch of enemies and I know that takes me out of my way and I'm about to die, I rage-ops pack and then rage TCP and burn everything to the ground.

No, it's not fine. It takes a lot longer to be revived than to gel so it's *not* fine either

Today I had really clueless pugmates who all three managed to get synced at the start of wave 5. I looked at the nearest Banshee (who was also looking at me) and said to her, "Baby, make it stop." She did, and what a relief.

it took me about 50 games on Rio before I spotted the angle where the map photo on the search screen is taken from. Too much stuff that needs to die.

 

Actually, something that helped my map knowledge in Black Ops was being able to start a game with no enemies and simply stroll around with a friend. I wish that one could do that in ME3 - maybe ME4?

 Me neither lol I know TCP's boost weapon damage, but I mostly play power based, I only really use TCP's to regen 'nades when someone else on the team is using them and I wish to unleash the pain.

Guilty. In fact, on occasion it becomes habit. I ops-packed my raging warlord the other day when his shields when down. I forgot his health regenerates.....derp

I only rage gel because I don't trust pugs with revives. Of course there are times where I do actually gel out of rage, but I don't want pugs coming to try and rescue me and getting themselves downed in the process. I'd rather have my decoys alive.

i rage missle/rage gel more in geth games than any other faction.

 

i also melee other players........just for the silliness.

Hey, I'm Shady and I use "OP" weapons Reegar is an exception. I'm not saying that I use them exclusively, I actually prefer some other guns over them but  I will use a Talon, Arc Pistol, Acolyte, Hurricane and occasionally a Harrier as long as it makes sense loadout wise.

 

I also don't like playing vanguards Cabal is an exception. Charge at me bro.

 

And finally, I don't pay much attention to the timer or the LZ location on wave 11. Not extracting on FB Dagger seems like a SOP of mine.

What, you have never dumped all 5+ grenades into a swarmed device, then TCP and do the same to the nearest spawn when they immediately come back?

Killing and Re-Killing them usually sends the message.
