TBH, I think that while the male LI's turned out quite well, that the graphic style is just not my thing in DAI, when it comes to females.

I really hope I can at least manage to create a female character I like.

 

I also don't think it has anything to do with LI's or not, as I simply find all females I've seen unappealing in visual terms.

So it's probably the graphic style in DAI as I had no problem with Cassandra's look in DA2.

 

Morrigan and Leliana are okay, definitely the best looking so far, the others, let's just say, I hope for some mods to change their appearances,

 

But that is really just my personal taste and I'm happy for everyone who can appreciate the look of the female LI's we've seen so far.

I think it's basically a sure thing that Viv and Solas are the last two LI's. Which makes me happy - Cullen, Solas, and Iron Bull are good choices to have, but I'll probably end up with Solas, unless Cullen's just so awesome he makes up for not being able to bring him everywhere with me.

I actually didn't like Morrigan in the last trailer, the enemy of thedas. Don't know what they did with her face... I She looks like a teen barbie... Maybe need more screenshots to look at however.

 

 

I prefered the first Morrigan in the teaser than the current one :

Morrigan was supposed to be "young" in DA:O, she can still look as she does in the last trailer 10 years later.

We have seen mages in other fantasy settings, famous ones include Triss Merigold and Yennefer of Vergenberg, who have been known to use magic to make themselves appear youthful.

 

There appears to no reason to have Morrigan doing the same thing.

pfft, Magic in the Witcher is nothing like it is in Dragon age.

 

Also in DA you have never had a warrior proclaim confidently.

Morrigan in the newest trailer is still pretty, but a friend of mine pointed out that she looks sort of like a Sim character and I can't unsee it.  I really love Morrigan from the older trailer, she was gorgeous, detailed, and interesting.  Fingers crossed that in-game she looks a little more like the older version.

I think the original Morrigan looked better as well. The new Morrigan doesn't look like the DA:O character at all, IMO. She also looks too young.

I wonder who has a better chance of being race-gated....Vivi or Cassandra...

my money is on Vivi just cause she comes across as sophisticated, sassy and a bit of a snob. We also know she comes from a high status so she may not be into certain races, but I could also see Solas being gated against Dwarfs since they don't dream but thats the only reason I can think of for Solas to be gated and out of the ones already confirmed my money is on Cullen and a recent article made a great point about him, keep in mind this is her opinion BUT she makes a good point.

 

 

Anyone that played DA Origins as a female mage knows all to well the charms of the former shy and stammering Knight Templar. As a mage, you could play either as a human or an elf, and both races could easily get their flirt on with Cullen. Based on conversations with Cullen in Dragon Age 2, he obviously has negative feelings towards the Qunari and if his remarks towards Orghren in Dragon Age Origins is any kind of reflection of his opinions of Dwarves, he is clearly not very fond of them either. Potentially, this makes him a really good candidate for race gating, while still leaving him relatively available for a lot players.

I have never found the LIs in any Dragon Age game physically attractive.  Frankly, I haven't found their personalities very attractive either.  I was hoping DA:I would be different on both fronts.
