You have to look for the Being A Real Man dictionary and encyclopedia. There you will find good articles on romance, love, being a reliable friend, and what it means to be a good father.

Can I just say that not finding the LIs attractive is not a problem in and of itself? It's only a problem when the people seem to expect the LIs should change to reflect their idea of beauty.

In da2 isabela seemed more interested in that ship of hers than hawke. So he stood alome against the army the shadows of the abominations that cast down upon kirkwall.

Okay so since so many people have complained about how unattractive the LIs are in DAI and since instead of keeping it to one thread they decide to open several I decided to do the opposite and start a thread about how beautiful and attractive they really are. Sorry in advance if anyone has already done this

 

I will start with my favorite since everyone knows I am a Sera fan boy. I love this elf already and she doesn't even like my gender, I think she is adorable and I have already fallen for her fun personality which to me a fun personality means more than looks any day, hard to look past a crappy personality. I like her cute button nose and I like her short hair since I am a guy that finds short hair on females cute. Can't wait to hear her giggle snort and she is one of the biggest reasons that November 18th can't come soon enough. So there you go I started it feel free to talk about your favorite LI male or female. 

I completely agree.  Sera has a sort of Winona Ryder quality to her look, and her personality feels a lot like Mal from Serenity/Firefly.  I would have to say that Josephine is actually the most stunningly beautiful one.  She kind of reminds me of what Nina Davuluri (current Miss America from my home state of New York) will probably look like in about 5 years... only with more freckles.

Uhm, the LIs are a bit of a mixed bag as far as I am concerned. All the characters look interesting, but strictly speaking as LIs here's my appraisal:

 

-Cullen, Dorian and Josephine are the clear winners in the looks department IMO.

-Sera is cute, but also happens to look a bit like a 13 year old boy so YMMV.

-Cassandra... looks a bit too severe and worn out, I don't get the appeal. Even accounting for the different art style she looked much better DA2.

-Ironbull, apart for a dwarf/qunari lulzmance, I just don't get it. Even if he weren't disfigured [eye patch] he still doesn't seem like the sort that would be aesthetically pleasing.

 

As far the last two mystery romances out of the pool: 

 

-Blackwall & Solas, Beard & Bald respectively, never really got the appeal of either of those so YMMV.

-Vivienne... not my cup of tea.

The LIs are certainly all beautiful. I love Sera's scruffy style, with her ragged chopped hair and piecemeal armour. Her big eyes on that trailer just won me over instantly, and everything about her personality suggests she'll be irresistable. Vivienne (presumably an LI) has that flawless kind of beauty, the type that could wear a bin-bag and make it look glamorous. And her lips are just so inviting. Cassandra is more rugged, like a knight in shining armour type. There's something about a lady who looks indomitable and beautiful at the same time - Aveline was very similar. And then Josephine, who I think is the most beautiful of the bunch. Elegant like Viv, but in a more understated way, with gorgeous eyes.

 

As for the men, Dorian is so attractive that I'll happily make a male character for him. I don't usually like facial hair, but that moustache is very charming, and he's another one with pretty eyes. The eyeliner is definitely an appealing touch. Cullen has a traditional kind of attractiveness to him, he's always been a handsome chap and the new engine just improves it. Even Iron Bull appeals to me, with his novelty and personality, and I'm not usually a fan of bald beefcake men.

 

If either Solas or Varric are LI, then I'll be even more spoilt for choice. Neither is really my type but they have an attractive appeal to them too. Solas in particular has really grown on me.

I like that there is a lot of variation in DA:I. There is a good chance that you like something about at least one of the LIs in this game.

 

I think Josephine is the best looking of the companions/advisors in DA:I and will probably turn out to be quite intelligent which is a great combination, imo and the reason she'll most likely be my main LI in DA:I. Others may think Cassandra is better looking or has personality traits they like more. In terms of looks, Vivienne is not my type, but she is supposed to be extremely intelligent and cunning which is something I find rather hot so hopefully she's an LI, too. If not, the friendship path with her could be quite interesting, regardless. Not interested in guys, so I'm not entirely sure how DA:I is in that area, but as I said, there seems to be a lot of variation in this game which is a good thing, imo.

 

Also, Josephine is gorgeous! Though I feel like I've said that before somewhere.

They have beautiful faces, I just wish they didn't look like raccoons, haha. That being said, I think my Femqun will go for either Sera or IB. Possibly Josie.
