And you are vastly underestimating the importance of racial phylogeny.
Not really. I understand that, but the qunari Inquisitor and his glowing green hand will be labeled as freakish. Might as well go all the way.

And not too mention hornless is basically a red head(hair) of that race.
Red heads are awesome.

Sten is hornless, that doesn't make him any less of a Qunari. The horns are pretty cool, but not everyone can be born with the same stuff, would make things rather boring if they did.

The qunari are around seven to eight feet in height and have grey skin, red eyes, and pointy ears.
You really think horns are the only thing that differentiates qunari from humans?

I'm pretty that was because of budgeting issues.

It pretty much has been said that hornless is basically the same has a human with red hair. So that really isn't that much of a factor for what your pointing out.
I'm pretty that was because of budgeting issues.
and yet he's still hornless after DA2 either way.

Looks under the section for hornless in thatt entry should clear things up about the whole hornless thing.
We've known for a while we can have the options of no horns, what I'm wondering is if we can have the options of cut horns. Like remnant horn chunks jutting out of our head, since tal-vashoth apparently cut off their horns sometimes.
Awesome, I was hoping to not have to have horns. At least for my first Qunari Play through, unless I can have the arishoks horns then all bets are off! I mean If I give my Adaar Horns she is going to have Decent Sized horns that are HUGE! Well as big as they can get with out her looking stupid lol
You may as well play as a dwarf without a beard and the height diference.
I really fail to see how having no horns somehow makes you less qunari, thats like saying a bald man is somehow less human
Can't wait to put qunari horns on my mage dwarf with dalish tattoos romancing Varric
if you dont have horns. you're just a tall @ss dude
i'm still hoping for a hellboy option, filed down stumps on the front of my head.
I'm pretty that was because of budgeting issues.
I think it was more because they decided to add horns to Qunari at a later date. All the Qunari mercenaries we fought in Origins had no horns.
True Qunari have no horns. War True Qunari.
Guys, stop being so naive. This whole hornless Qunari stuff is just about Bioware not having a clear vision of the Qunari in DAO. Sten and ALL of the other Qunari in DAO were simply tall humans with white cornrolls. Then comes DA2 and the Qunari appeareance gets retconned into looking like Demons from the Doom videogames.
So instead when it comes to Sten and his "human" look, Bioware just creates a lore reason to explain why Sten does not look like the Qunari in DA2.
With that being said, to me the DA2 look of Qunari is the true look while tbe DAO look is the "mistake" look. Because of Sten's popularity, Bioware took the steps to give a lore reason as to why Sten looks the way he did. While in truth be looks the way he did because Bioware did not have a clear way express their looks like they did in DA2.
I'm pretty that was because of budgeting issues.
Sten was always meant to be hornless
To the OP: I thought this was already known?
Nice. Should I choose to play Qunari Inquisitor and I will, most likely mage Inquisitor, I will go with a hornless Qunari.
