I'm going to play an archer rogue my first play through so my party will most likely be:

 

Blackwall Tank or 2h dps

Cassandra (whichever Blackwall isn't doing atm)

Solas or Dorian

And my happy self

Dorian, Vivienne, and Varric, with me as either a mage or a warrior.

I haven't decided my Inquisitor's class yet. But if I had to put together some mini parties, it would be like this:

 

Most used: Cassandra (Seeker!), Solas (Fade!), Cole (Asunder!)

 

Alternate: Blackwall, Dorian, Varric

 

Least used: Iron Bull (Qunari...), Vivienne (attitude...), Sera (the other 2 rogues appeal to me the most...)

 

Nevertheless, I plan on using them all!

I imagine my team will mostly consist of Sera, Cassandra, and Vivienne, but I'll probably use Varric a bit also, especially if there's a chance to reunite him with Bianca.

I wanted Blackwall in my party too, which I could do if I made my character a mage and got rid of Solas, but I don't want to play as a mage lol

I will probably bring everyone along at some point but as for main party composition

2h dps qunari inquisitor

Dps/minor heal Vivienne

Sword and shield tank Cassandra

Archer dps varric or daggers cole

undecided on my rogue since I don't think my personality will mesh well with any of them, sera the least as my qunari will be the ends justify the means, might just forgo a rogue completely and have Bull take up the last spot. I would do it myself since I usually prefer the rogue class but I never play a warrior and I want to try something new and I want to complete the protagonist trifecta of rogue Mage warrior.

I'll switch a lot throughout the story, but I'm thinking whenever I can without garnering too much disapproval, I'll probably use a team consisting of Cassandra, Varric, and Solas.

I always try to have a different party in every playthrough. This time is going to be something like this:

 

1- qunari mage -> cassandra + dorian(LI)+ varric

2-elven/human warrior -> sera (LI)+ cole+ solas

3-dwarf rogue -> Iron bull (LI) + blackwall + vivienne

Everyone with get a chance to be on Team Force of the Fabulous, but the first run through wlll have:

Tough to say this time really.

 

I usually tend to keep to a certain crew when I know there is a critical mission coming up -

 

My first play through in all games was always a 2 handed DPS warrior so my go to party composition was

 

DA:O - Wynne, Leliana, Allistair

DA:A - Anders, Justice, and Nathaniel

DA:2 - Varric/Isabella (swapped out every 2nd mission because Varric was awesome and Isabella was my romance), Aveline, and Anders

 

This time around I will *probably* go with another 2 handed warrior to start off with, but I am also considering a mage...but I think I will try to find niches for everyone so I can swap certain groupings in and out all the time.

 

I do like Varric, and Cassandra seems interesting too along with Iron Bull

 

The only companion I really dislike is Vivienne..also Dorian/Solas I need to get to know more because right now I just see them as 2 mages...with very little background info outside of Dorian being from the Tevinter...

I feel like that's gonna end up being my final party with what info has been released but it's subject to change dpeending on how things work out.

I be going Mage Female Qunari for 1st run ! for the 1st run , I probably go with whoever you pick first . Then I will go as I did in DA2 (had Bela as my Li and Aveline) and choose my chosen romance + favorite companion (Sera + someone else) for party (even if it mean we will be unbalanced and will die alot) .

And Iron Bull. Everyone else will be swapped in and out as the fancy takes me, but I suspect the hilarity of tanking for Iron Bull on my dwarf gal will bring me much innocent joy, so he'll get to come out for air a lot. And Cole, because every mama bear needs something adowibble to protect.

Well, I expect my HN warrior to be as lost as I am, so I need some experience...plus, I'm thinking you probably meet these 3 early in the game:

Cassandra, Varric & Dorian (LI)

 

Over the course of an estimated 150 hours of game play (more for someone like me who will probably die - A LOT), and with the exception of my sweetie, there will be ample opportunity to try out different combos.
