I'd love to see:
Basics:
1.) Overhauled Graphics and Textuers (especially ME1)
2.) 1080p
3.) 60FPS! Or at the very least constant 30FPS.
4.) All DLC included.
Advanced:
1.) Some more Bugfixes. Especially animations and lipsync.
2.) IF Servers are shutdown by then, adjustable EMS Rating.
3.) Helmet off option in cut scenes.
4.) Some really nice Bonus Content. Making of, Artwork, maybe even the comics, etc.
Bat **** crazy, will not happen ever, wishes:
1.) New Epilogue Mission or Scenes, with one more ending (A happier one, with a bit of pathos) to either properly send off the Trilogy before the next ME comes out OR bridge the two games.
2.) The OPTION(!) to play a Fan(!) Edition Cut which uses the MAHEM Ideas. Even on consoles. It's not like they would have to worry about fan approval for that one or put in any hard work to get it going.
3.) Let Tali be a LI for Femshep too!
I would like an adjustable EMS option regardless

It may not be much at all, but I'd donate up to $10,000 USD to help with the funding.
I've been gaming for close to 3 decades on dozens of platforms, and I've never experienced such an amazing, immersive, engrossing sci-fi IP (which is my favorite genre).
The Mass Effect trilogy will always remain timeless for me. And just like older and beloved films - such as the original Star Wars triloigy - have been (re)mastered for VHS, LaserDisc, DVD, and Blu-ray, so too should our cherished video game franchises such as the Mass Effect trilogy (and Star Wars: KotOR as well - among others) in my opinion.
Make no mistake, ME 1/2/3 had a huge and memorable impact on countless gamers worldwide.
It's one of those single player gaming experiences which only come around occasionally.
Therefore, like I said, Mass Effect 1/2/3 deserve to be remastered for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. They definitely deserve it - no question about it. Please do this for us, the fans.

Accidental listings happen all the time. Somehow this feels just like a simple human error.

There's no need for remastering the trilogy, all it would do is further hollow out the serie. I would be somewhat interested in a re-imagined Mass Effect universe, one where basic aspects of the current series are present but heavily reworked; certain elements such as the Spectres, space travel and politics are all worked out rather shoddily and there's a lot internal inconsitency going on. Space travel in particuliar is something that iId like to see get reworked, In gameplay travel is a matter seconds while in story it's a matter hours, yet there's some indication that that space travel in Mass Effect was intially meant to be much longer; Days and Weeks. even with the Mass relays. Unfortunantly this point got muddled away more and more as the series went and to me it really damages the scope and feeling of the universe when one can travel from one edge of the galaxy to another is an instant. Another point is the existance of primary and secondary relays, something that was ever present in the codex but never used in the story.

Well, no one wants to look at a blank screen for two hours while you get from one relay to the next. Its a writing contrivance used commonly in SciFi. Warp Drve, FTL, relays - you get it.
Our Galaxy is huge - about 100,000 light years across. You kind of need a way to speed up travel from one side to the other.

I think what Fixers0 is saying is that the effects of travel time are never represented in-game. Almost every single mission would have resulted in total failure if Shepard had arrived hours or even minutes later, yet each one plays out mostly the same regardless of sequence. If you let ME1 sit at the title screen and watch the video that plays you'll see what this could have been; Shepard gets a distress call from Noveria and disregards it to take on a more urgent mission. I realize that if instead of having 6 suspenseful missions you went on one and returned to find the other people you were supposed to rescue or take down already dead or gone it would probably detract from the overall experience, but at minimum there could have been more subtle changes written in, similar to what happens in ME1 if you go to Virmire before rescuing Liara.

I think that Bioware chose to get around this by letting you choose destination and thereby the order of events. (ME1 was pretty good at this)
Still, the idea is good..... just might be hard to implement . In 'reality' if would be a question of distance and time , because travel to the relay would also be pretty time consuming. In reality, it takes light about 8 minutes to get from the sun to us. You also have to use the gravity wells of the planets to your advantage, or dodge them. Even a solar system is a pretty large object by our standards.

I think they are going to wait until Dragon Age ships before we hear anything. We are out of trade shows after TGS and EGX and E3 is the next after that. The next Mass Effect is more than likely a late 2016 so a mid 2015 release would be about right. VGX might not be on this year since gametrailers was bought.
Saying that they don't need a long lead up of a remaster. Tomb Raider was announced at the start of December and was released at the end of January.

The Mass Effect trilogy isn't being remastered anytime soon. Lets be realistic folks. The Master Chief Collection is a terrible example as the game that is actually getting remastered, Halo 2, came out ten years ago. That was two console generations. The first Mass Effect was on the Xbox 360 and then later PC, which was obviously the last generation. Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 are even more recent with one that came out four years ago and the other two. We have only seen remastered games for two reasons. Either, the games that are being remastered are really old, or the games came out so late in the last generation, that a new gen upgrade was expected and an easy cash grab. The Mass Effect trilogy doesn't fit either of those categories.
I also doubt there will be an ability to import saves from ME1, 2, and 3 for the next Mass Effect game. It's almost guaranteed that BioWare will make a Dragon Age Keep for Mass Effect due to the transition to a new generation, using a new engine, etc. I also really don't understand why there is this push for a remastered trilogy. Mass Effect 2 and 3 in particular still visually and game play-wise hold up well. The first Mass Effect is a little dated, but a few mods here and there can bring it up to speed.
I'd rather BioWare Canada focus all their efforts into making the next Mass Effect as amazing as possible, rather than wasting resources and time creating a "HD edition" just to make a quick buck. What was the last game BioWare actually remastered anyways?

Baldur's Gate
Yeah. Baldur's Gate. Do we all remember when that game came out? It was only on PC as well. BioWare isn't in the business of making remastered editions.

I posted this in another thread, but this is what I want to see in the remastered editions if the rumors are true.
ME1:
- Fix framerate and loading issues.
- Fix the inventory system.
- Flesh out Cerberus a bit more.
- Add more variety to planet exploration/side quests.
ME2:
- Remove planet scanning mini-game.
- Add loot and inventory system.
ME3:
- New ending is a must.
- Give us more choices with potential consequences.
- Expand on Kai Leng, make him seem more dangerous in a non- James Bond villain way.
- Give ME2 squad mates more time in the spotlight.
- Improve side quest's rather than Creepy eavesdropping Shepard.

If they don't admit how crappy the ending is and change it in the remaster (If rumors are true) then that tells you what quality you can expect from ME4.

Different team (Montreal) is working on the next ME game, not to mention Bioware clearly said that they were done with the endings after the EC.

These people are delusional to the point where I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
I also have ZERO understanding of why so many people seem to want a remaster already. Does it tie in with the earlier mentioned delusions? Has to be so.

I think a X1/PS4 release of the trilogy is a good idea and is something reasonable to ask for some improved texture's and releasing all the DLC from the entire trilogy is definitely something I and other's would definitely pay for. These people are delusional to the point where I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

They could just get another studio to handle it like they did with the PS3 version of ME1.Wouldn't you just rather have them finish the next ME game?

It tells you nothing. If you want to avoid getting the game based solely on that, be my guest. I prefer making my mind after the game is releasedIf they don't admit how crappy the ending is and change it in the remaster (If rumors are true) then that tells you what quality you can expect from ME4.
