I'm operating under the assumption that we may have the chance to tame a dragon. If so, I am excited.
I'm going to name her Fruit Snax.

She has really white teeth.
Probably flosses daily.
I only hope that if this is the case we get to choose which dragon we tame. I don't care much for the fereldan frostback, but I'd kill (in game) to tame that blue hornless one from the enemy of thedas trailer.
I'm calling him Cuddles.
Since my tradition of naming my mabaris breakfast food has ended, I shall name it Sammich.
Well if we're talking about names then I think I'd name mine Atashi-Aad or for those of you who don't have the qunlat wiki open in another tab "Dragon Unit".
Adramelech will be my dragon's name
Either Gorbash or Smrgol.
A cookie to whoever gets the reference.
Ser Charbroil will be mine.
Dragon romance confirmed!

I'm honestly running on the belief that if the achievement list is real (which I feel it almost certainly is at this point) this will be a story event entirely, as opposed to anything with enough game-y "depth" to give us a naming option and stuff like that. That recent trailer with the dragon-on-dragon action (...that sounds weird) seemed like a lot of cinematic staging, plus the achievement description is as cryptic as any of 'em, and I could see it being a big plot point.
Either way, I think it's cool and I hope it happens.
I'd rather have a pet giant scorpion that the Tevinter have.
I've always had a deep respect for the evolutionary perfection of the scorpion.
But if I can't get that a friendly dragon will do nicely too!
Either Gorbash or Smrgol.

Flight of Dragons!
What kind of cookie do you want?
Snickerdoodle. :>
I'll name it Mr.Snuffleupagus

doubt we'll get to decide on the type, it'll either just be a random (most likely ferelden frostback) dragon we encounter when we go out to tame a dragon or a dragon that appears every now and again throughout the game but we never actually fight it and/or beat it until we need to tame it.
If we do get to choose it'll be a pleasant surprise though ![]()
(provided that whole "tame a dragon" thing is real)
mines going to be madam fluffyness
Um.....Smaug, can't imagine how I'm the first to post this.....
If we can actually get a pet dragon, I'll buy 7 copies of the game. That would be amazing.
Hmm I think I'll call mine Balerion? I might go with Ancalagon or Glaurung perhaps because I called my dog in DA:O Balerion...
