I don't think Sera will compare every mage to Tevinter

 

 

 

I kinda felt that Fenris shouldn't have been able to romance mage Hawke

Tell you the truth I don't think he should have either really, i like fenris as a buddy but not as a romance, heck I killed him my very first playthrough of DA 2 lol

i still think the human mage throws a wrench in many people's theories about Sera, whether they want to admit it or not 

 

You should NEVER throw a wrench.  It's right up their with running and scissors.

I feel like Sera being gated against humans would be a pretty huge missed opportunity, if only because it would be neat if humans had to work really hard to win her over. Like she's willing to flirt right away with a Lavellan or Cadash, but Trevelyans have to prove that they're willing to use their privilege and power to help those who need it, and not simply to advance themselves or further the oppression of [insert oppressed group here].

That's why I like the idea of "race-gating" and to an extent class-gating

I find it hard to imagine rich noble people having any difficulty with classism XD That said, I just really hate the idea of Vivienne only likeing humans due to "prestige" and all the talk of elves need to breed with elves to continue the breed seems really really uncomfortable. Stuff like that is why I have a hard time believing race gating can be done respectfully at all.

if anything it will be only one race, and I still think its going to harm dwarfs and qunari the most, i don't think humans and elves are going to be gated against at all

Wait... since when was gaining Morrigan's approval in any ways hard? If that's the standard we're using Sera is probably going to be easier than a certain pirate lady from DA2.

Many felt Morrigan was hard since most want to be good in their playthroughs where she doesn't really like doing the right thing and you thought Isabela was hard? She's the easiest to romance especially with a sarcastic Hawke

Like a gate someone mentioned was Solas unable to connect with a dwarf due to not being able to dream. That was something that also made sense and didnt feel squicky

I think this holds more truth than many want to acknowledge

My guess is Vivienne and Cullen. Viv if gated against anyone it's almost certainly elves with the rebellion going it could cause quite a stir amongst Celen's enemies and supporters alike.

Cullen because he's been shown to be a bit antagonistic against Dwarves and Qunari.

I would have added Dorian to this list, but I can swear I remember reading somewhere about he and Iron Bull having somewhat of a "interesting" relationship.

Never said I thought Isabella was hard... in fact the implication was that Sera would be even easier than her [a fairly easy PC] if we used the Morrigan standard

 

That aside even if you want to be 'good' who cares, winning over Morrigan was not that hard  given her gifts were some of the easiest to get.

Unless that's his religion, I don't think any of the current religions of Thedas says that's the case.

Edit: I'm honestly curious how large the outrage would be if one of the companions didn't have a romance with someone who either wasn't a fellow Andrastian or Dalish religious follower.
