I'm interested to know about your Shepards. In this thread, we'll talk about our Shepard, how they look like and their choices made in the game and discuss why.

Right now, it's late so I'll post a bit about my first Shepard...

Male, Spacer, Survivor, Vanguard, Paragon (AKA Good Boy mode)

Some major choices include...
-Saving Ashley from Virmire
-Saving the council from Mr. Sovey
-Preserving the collector base
-Curing the genophage
-Making peace between Geth and Quarians
-Chose to synthesise organics and synthetics

Love interest is Ashley, throughout all three games. Denied Tali's interest and awkwardly failed to romance Traynor.



What is your Shepard?

I have a lot of Shepards (all different)  but my first profile was:

 

Michael Shepard.

 

Earth Born Orphan escaped a life of crime and left the 10th street reds to join the alliance.

 

Ruthless and not ashamed of his past. 

 

Vanguard.

 

Mostly paragon.

 

Was interested in Liara but it felt wrong.

 

Saved Ashley on Virmire and regretted it ever since.

 

Convinced Wrex to stand down (I think) and regards it as one of his greatest achievements.

 

Gave the council what they deserved at the cost of 10,000 lives. 

 

Killed the Rachni Queen and regretted it later.

 

Made Anderson councillor.

 

Told Bailey not to alter his records and leave him dead in official records.

 

Chose Jack over Tali after much soul searching.

 

Sided with Jack over Miranda.

 

Rewrote the Heretics.

 

Told Tali and Legion to knock it off coz I was sick of this crap.

 

Saved the collector base.

 

All crew and squad mates survived the suicide mission.

 

Sided with the Geth and despaired as the Quarian's were blasted into space dust.

 

Cured the Genophage.

 

Spared the second Rachni Queen and had his scientists shredded leaving him racked with guilt.

 

Chose destroy.

 

Died.

 

His life was short and brutal and he probably killed thousands more than he saved.

-Saved Ashley

-Kept Wrex on, since he was a friend and Shepard didn't want to have to gun him down

-Saved Council...begrudgingly

-Stuck with Liara the entire trilogy, though Traynor came close

-Destroyed the geth heretics, because they were nothing but trouble from the start.

-Destroyed the Collector base.

-She got everyone out of the SM alive.

-She didn't bother warning the batarians about the relay, because they're all doomed anyway.

-Saved Maelon's data and cured the genophage, because why the frak not

-Spared the Rachni queen, because...I dunno. She asked nicely?

-Killed Balak, because like he said, she should have killed him on that asteroid. Better late than never.

-Didn't kill Petrovsky, since he might know something, though she was very tempted for a moment.

-Made peace between the geth and quarians, because the geth might as well be put to good use, for now.

-Didn't bother pressing Javik on the issue of looking into the shard.

-Destroyed the reapers and survived.

Mass Effect 3

-Did 95% of those damn Citadel side missions.

-Convinced Balak to let the remaining Batarian Fleet's join the Allied forces.

-Javik did not touch the shard,made up with Liara,and (hopefully,cause you know....we never get to see it) wrote a book with Liara.

-Spared the Rachni Queen.

-Grunt survived.

-Convinced Ashley to back down.

-Aria did not kill Petrovsky.

-Completed all DLC.

-Geth and Quarian peace was achieved.

-Romanced Tali.

-Saved the councilor.

-Thane died.

-Miranda died.

-Took Javik to Thessia.

-Saved the Grissom Academy. (edit,I forgot those two,so here's GA and Jack)

-Jack's students went for support. (edit,I forgot those two,so here's GA and Jack)

-Ashley didn't join Hackett's forces.

-Got the Volus Bombing Fleet without sacrificing the colony.

-Over 8000 War Assets (95% Galactic Readiness)

-Raged over the quality of Priority:Earth.

-Skips the final battle cinematic because he doesn't want to vommit before the final battle.

-Took Javik and Tali for the final rush to the beam.

Ending

Fanfic: "Conventional Victory" by refusing the Catalyst's choices,ordering Hackett to open fire on the Citadel,doing a ton of damage to the Citadel itself,destroying the Catalyst in the process and thus disabling the Reapers and winning the war.

Actual game: Destroy;survived.

I like to think of my shep as a cross between Conrad Verner, Captain America, Duke Nukem and the Terminator. Kinda wide-eyed and naive and sometimes says stupid things, an Alliance soldier who tries to do the right thing for the most people, spends a little too much time with (and credits on) the asari dancers, but doesn't put up with any crap from anyone either, and she's an indestructible no-nonsense juggernaut of death when she has to be.

I like to think of all of my Shepards as Organic versions of the Catalyst, empowered to handle the deeds that the powers-that-be are incapable of handling or don't want to deal with, who, over the course of the three games, turns on them, upends the status quo (brings back the Rachni, works with the Geth, cures the Genophage) and eventually creates a new norm in the aftermath of the Reaper War (doesn't really matter which ending Shepard picks).

Background, profile: Earthborn, Sole Survivor, ex drug abuser and party hero.

Morality: finished ME1 with a full paragon bar, 80-90% full Renegade bar, same for ME2 (or maybe the other way around for ME2, not sure lol). ME3 is still under way.

 

ME1 recap: Rachni Queen spared, Feros colony saved, Wrex and Ashley survived Virmire, focused on Sovereign during final battle causing the Council to die (did not pick 'let the council die' option). Human lead council was formed uder the lead of Anderson. (this is not full human council)

Romance: Liara

 

 

Minor ME1 things:

Fist killed by Wrex, Shiala alive, Rhana dead, Kirrahe dead.

- Currently pursuing Brotherhood of Steel storyline
- Haven't encountered the Enclave yet (For the Enclave mod), but might join them if they're a faction which can be joined, not sure the story of that mod but have greatly enjoyed the radio station. Have the Battle Hymn of the Republic stuck in my head as I speak.

...wait, wrong game.

Might do a low-intelligence Jayne playthrough with Wild Wasteland at some point, might not. Didn't get far past the origin with my Dwarf Commoner Jayne in DA:O, but it was f***ing hilarious while it lasted (Strength check: bash Carta guard's head against bars of jail cell). Working on a companion/quest mod of my own in FNV, learning GECK, haven't gotten too far yet, but have the story all planned out.

She had b*lls enough to try and throw Sovvy. She can look however she wants, heh.

My Shep was an earthborn, sole survivor, soldier (with throw) in ME1 and vanguard after Cerberus rebuilt him. I played him with actions that I would have myself chosen, and it ends up being paragade every time.
