It doesn't have to be the Inquisitor saving their partner;it could be the player playing as the partner saving the Inquisitor. This is possible.

More than a complete "romantic" quest I'd like specific romantic dialogues in some missions. But I would love a "rescue mission" like Fort Drakon. One of my most loved mission, with escaping from the ship in KotoR.

sometimes is very fun using the companions, and give more importance to them. :)

I'm pretty sure they said there wasnt going to be a rescue mission like that in Inquisition v-v

As already said, it doesn't have to be a rescue mission (even if I love those. It give more importance to the companions, make them more "heroes" in their own, not only the hero's minions, but people the hero need and can count on) but mission using the companions instead of the protagonist. It can be for any sort of mission:

for example, like at the end of DAO, where the player can play with the characters she didn't take with her to defeat the Archdemon. mission in parallel, so to speak.

but is a little OT. what is related to this tread: I'm all for change in motivation/dialogue in certain missions with the LI, but not a fan of totally LI-related missions.

Why is that? I feel like a personal quest for a character would deepen the relationship and make the fans happy. Worked for the citadel dlc (fan service that is)

I'd be down with a "date" quest of some kind.

That would be awesome...as long as there is no drunken space gypsy singing.
