I'd like to hear more about the Stone. It may be an actual thing rather than simple dwarven myth/philosophy.

That's been my belief since DAO. I'd also like to visit Kal-Sharok, hear more of the ancient Dwarves (Primeval whom were probably mages, and non-Primeval), and perhaps liberate a few Dwarven bastions.

Maybe Hormak and Gundaar?

I already stated what I want to see from the dwarves many times, lol.  :D

I have so many thoughts about the Stone, now that we know Lyrium is alive...idk, it's all jumbled now, but. Thoughts!!! I am sure I'll write up a big thing about it soon, dwarven religious lore is my jam.

Wow some people are so wrong.

Lol at that thread asserting that dwarven rogue female is probably the least played. Hella would like being a special snowflake like that.

Ah never mind vertigomez. I saw someone beat me to the punch on the Aeducan letter. If I had a completed one for my Brosca I would've seen what the difference was. But no Brosca for me.

It's all good! I'm sure someone will post the Brosca version eventually, assuming they're not the same.

Lol. I'm definitely combining my love for rogues with dwarves. I'm still shocked every time I remember that statistic about rogue being the rarest option.

Yeah, I remember reading some statistic or another (dunno how reliable that is...) that said more people romanced Leliana as a lady than finished the game as a rogue.

I was pretty surprised, but then... I play rogues a lot.

Just when I decided to retire my pitchfork and torch.  . Where's that "Oh, god honey no," meme. I would still play Dragon age if they did a human only story(my party would consist of non-humans), but I wouldn't be much into it, unless they had family like Hawke. I could have easily seen a dwarven family running away from the blight. The only problem would had been was... we wouldn't have direct ties into the templar/mages problem. I saw the templar/mages problem as everyone problem, though.

As a Rogue player, I can understand that since it's always the hardest class to play well and many people can't play one or try play them like warriors.
Hell, I've seen complaints about Rogue Hawke being underpowered when that was far from the truth.

As for dwarves being unpopular, lack of a mage option I suspect. But mostly jealousy because dwarves don't need it. :P

Oh my god, Rogue Hawke was hilariously powerful and super fun. Rogues are so great.

I still haven't done a warrior yet. Was gonna do a human or Qunari one, but....well, we all know how I feel about dwarves. May just end up rolling a lady Cadash warrior for the Sera or Josie romance.

Alright, third run, devilishly handsome snarky dwarven British guy is complete.

Why am I using the British voice? I don't know. I was planning on a British smartass dwarf long before release, because it was amusing.

Really? Huh, weird. Rogue has always been the first option I pick, so I guess I never had the chance to find it weird or hard? xD I have the most trouble playing warriors actually, so maybe it's a one or the other comes naturally thing.

And yet there are still people that couldn't play Rogue Hawke.
I do so miss one shotting bosses.

I agree... I've always found rogue the easiest to play as but maybe it's because I have the most experience playing as them.

I have used the British VAs for both of my dwarves. Which means that I used the American voice for my lady elf. I don't think I will ever get to customize Hawke at this point. (unless they fix that bug)

The British VA for the male dwarf is PERFECT for a snarky, smooth talking dude.

Same here. I've also noticed that I end up playing every other class like a rogue and just end up with a half assed rogue.

Like I said, jealousy. Dwarves and rogues need no magic to kick ass which makes dwarf rogues twice as awesome as other rogues.

(Except Rogue Hawke. And Isabela. Possibly Zevran.)

I find Warrior hard because I find it the least interesting to play, so I never spend the time figuring out how to make it work. Hopefully when I roll one this game, it will work for me. At the very least, the promise of banana mace and cheese shield for my Quizzie should keep me going.

Yea I was all team British on my first-playthrough with my dwarf, but now Cesdric Cadash, the American voice won me over. I also was team archer, but sword and shield is really fun!

Banana mace?

I know about the cheese shield but banana mace?

I'm picturing my dwarf rogue pissing off Cass by stealing her weapons and replacing them with a banana mace and cheese shield now.

People are funny. Someone should point them to our dwarven thread. Merry and her bow will wait for them.

Also due to story reasons (I just couldn't see Merry as an assassin) I re-loaded and changed Merry's spec to Tempest. I have to say I love the advanced version of flask of fire. Now it's like "you get a long shot, and you get a long shot, everyone gets a long shot!" :D

Hahha yes.

Collect all three of the Sad Splinters from the Keep doors you destroy, and find the schematic for the Sad Weapon just outside the River camp on the Exalted Plains in a pile of poo, and you can have the banana mace of your dreams.

Unfortunately I missed one of the sad splinters on my first PT, so I will try to get it this time!

I couldn't get into the Tempest, but I finished the game with the spec. I hope you're way better than me.

The best part of Flask of Fire's upgrade is that it completely removes the focus cost for Thousand Cuts.
So if they aren't dead after Flask of Lightning, Flask of Fire + Thousand Cuts will kill them.
