Having fun is very important! Don't jump over that cliff, Blackwall!! What am I going to tell the team about Blackwall death!

The photoset is deliberately left ambiguous for artistic reasons. Is he flying? Did he fall to his death? Did the top stop spinning????? SANTACEPTION.

...he recovered.

You know, I've never really been a Cullen fangirl in the sense that I played the mage origin once and went back to my dwarves (don't ask how many), but I really like how he's been a part of the game since beginning. Even though we have different protagonists, seeing the same character shows up makes the game that much more enjoyable. I gotta tell ya, I've had to restrain my inner Aeducan when Cadash chats with Morrigan. There were some scenes when it honestly felt we were doing the same song and dance all over again. =p

Did anyone import a Brosca/Morrigan romance? I wonder if Morrigan will mention that she had a dwarf lover? I have one, but that's probably going to be held off until my third PT.

I haven't yet. I'd like to eventually. Um, right now I am playing on a character (Amell) who romanced her, did the DR with her, and then stabbed her instead of following her through the eluvian. So I'm excited tos ee how that plays out.

(The beauty of the keep is that I have never played that, and I don't think I could---MORRIGAN, cry. But I wanted to see what happened if you did)

My Brosca was female, so no. I made her King Alistair's mistress so the Brosca sisters could have influence on two different kingdoms :P, but you don't actually get to talk to Alistair in those world states. Actually, does anyone know if there is there any hint about an Alistair/mistress relationship in DAI?

Nope. Nor Drunk!Alistair. Only Queen and Warden romanced, as far as I can tell.

Most of my play-through was always Brosca/Leliana or Aeducan/Leliana, and have a child with Morrigan. Am I the only one who want to continue my Cadash in DA4? Loghain is always alive in my play-throughs, but not in my first or second one, because I didn't read The Stolen Throne. After reading that, Loghain stayed alive, and Alister either became king or a drunk. In my canon, he's a drunk. I didn't like Alister that much. Fresh air came out of DA:2 with Aveline  .

It'd be interesting if she has some dwarf-specific dialogue, but I honestly have no idea. I haven't imported a Morrigan romance into the Keep so I've only seen her DAI romance mentions on YT. I don't think she said anything race specific in the video, but I think that playthrough was a human mage.

D**n. Ah well, I guess the "discretion" approach gave them an excuse to omit it.

Well, she was pretty shifty about it. Probably the Inquisition couldn't handle that much awesome at once.

As long as I don't get told in some codex entry or something that Alistair and Anora are madly in love and happy together. Good business partners, fine. But in that case, Koshka may be making a roguish visit to the Denerim palace, possibly with Zevran in tow. <_< :P

Edit: I should point out that Anora agreed to the arrangement before I set them up on the throne together.

Ok, Solas has just become my least favorite companion. He talks sh!t about our proud master race and when I politely told him that he had been misinformed in the matter of dwarven culture he had the nerve to say that he knew better. If there had been an eject button for Solas (like there is for poor Sera - seriously who would want to eject her?)  - he would have been  half way to the moon by now. I really regret doing his personal quest.

I suspected drunk Alistair wasn't going to be mentioned when we didn't even get to see Teagan. (Raise your hand if you went to Redcliffe hoping he'd be around after the mage/templar quest.)

Teagan? Yes, especially since they seemed to use his VA in early trailers...

Aww, that's too bad. If you're friends with him, he's really not bad about it.

I do wish there was more dwarf-Solas content though, *cough*a romance*cough*, because there was a lot of interesting potential there.

He is hilariously patronizing to Varric in Cole's quest too. I don't think Solas gets the dwarves, which makes sense, and is also an interesting blind spot for him...which is another reason why I wish there was more.

They did?! Those teases!

I know, I agree! He left a really good impression on me when I met him and I haven't locked horns with him so the above scenario surprises me. I'm wondering if it's based on approval or different dialogue choices. I do know that once I replay my character down the road I'm gonna skip the dialogue options that act like my dwarf is a walking scholar. I click on them just because I want to see what they say.

Edit: Oh, and when I saw what his greatest fear was on his tombstone during the Fade, the intrigue factor shot way up. I'm specifically avoiding Solas romance videos until I decide what I want to play next.

Actually bringing Solas and Varric along gets you some good banter about the dwarves. Solas wants the best for the dwarves.

Well, dwarves do have that whole berserker/ash warrior reputation in Fereldan, and unfortunately he probably got the chantry version rather than direct contact.

God I remember first seeing that with Nasir. I was saying WTF and laughing too hard.

But it could always be worse.

Yeah that annoyed me as well.

"I KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU DWARVES THEN YOU DWARVES DO"

No Solas, you just like to believe some stereotypes about Dwarves because your head is in the Fade.

But then, he doesn't have much interaction with people in general, so meh....

since I get the strong feeling that Tevinter is the next location, and because of that I highly think having origins would be useful here again. The reason is simple Tevinter society is rather different the rest of thedas that having a brief origin can help explain a bit about each race/classes's status in tevinter. As this is the dwarf thread below is my idea for a dwarf origin, what do other dwarf supporters think of the idea?

Dwarves - outside in

You are from a powerful dwarven family in Tevinter. Your ancestors came from Kal-Sharok but it has been ages since you were there. Here you see tevinter from an outside perspective. A dwarf is not a citizen of the empire but a diplomat and you see it from a different perspective. Though intrigues also exist here.

The plot here would you be working for your family when you discover a lost thaig. This thaig is links to the ancient city of Kal-Sharok and might be a way of reaching them. Of course dark-spawn, intrigue and curses await you. When on your way back, betrayl will strike you, for what you discovered is of great find and your best-friend/sister/brother wants the glory not you.  You join [plot group] to gain revenge but also as a way to possible persue what you discovered.

Comparision to origins: the dalish with a bit of the dwarf noble. Here you learn about dwarves. The reason for Kal-Sharok is that I get the idea we might visit it in the next game, so this would allow you to tie into that plotline much better.

Quest concept: assuming we visit Kal-Sharok, then your quest would be about what should your family do, particularly if there are some members left in Kal-sharok. Do they join? stay in tevinter? you can help decide.

I imported a Brosca/Morrigan romance. No mention of the warden being a dwarf from both Morrigan and her son. It was really weird to see Kieran react to my dwarf inquisitor as he did, considering that his dad is a dwarf.
