Well to be fair, a large part of DA:2 had to do with the qunari. Like Orzammar had to do with the dwarves. I'm pretty sure if we go to tevinter, qunari and dwarves will play a huge role.  :D

Something tells me that whatever lives in Kal-Sharok resembles more Darkspawn then Orzammar / Surface Dwarves.

Also, casteless. I doubt the Shaperate would consider the casteless Dwarves who leave to have been a part of that number.

This.

Also no matter how many dwarves live in the surface - they're hidding well. And when you do find them they usually don't want to speak to you. (Dagna, Harding and Varric don't count cause they work for inquisition and unless they want to be fired they just have to talk to their boss ;)  )

There were a few pictures of Kal-Sharok Dwarves in World of Thedas IIRC.

Ah here's one:

That'a picture that was originally in Dragon Age RPG, Set 2 Game Master's Guide P73. Since Dragon Age RPG has some weird stuff in it I wouldn't use it as oracle. Also this guy has some weird wrinkles.

Ah my bad. I don't have any of the supplementary material beyond some of the novels.

Also, I'd say those wrinkles are either scars or perhaps some affliction due to the Taint, as it's been suggested the close proximity to the Darkspawn has affected Kal-Sharok Dwarves. Throw in how one Dwarf looks on a Kal-Sharok Dwarf and remembers Grey Wardens and Darkspawn and it seems.... interesting.

If potentially screwy with the lore.

On my fourth play through, I was going to make a female dwarf with a napoleon complex.

I think there's no way to know where they will go with Kal Sharok, because I think they're more than happy to kind of hand wave away established hints, and if they wanted normal looking dwarves, they could easily do that.

Also worth noting that Tevinter has had contact with them, and Dorian didn't make any comments about their appearance to Cadash.

Wait what? I must've missed that bit of info. Where was that said Tevinter had contact with them? Are you taking that from the Venatori side-quests on the war table where they took Kal-Sharok Dwarves as slaves? That'd make sense certainly. Or is this elsewhere?

I think its in WoT, maybe? Which unfortunately I don't have right now. :( but I remember reading somewhere that Kal Sharok have trade arrangements with Tevinter. I can poke around more later if no one knows what I'm talking about.

It's in inquisition's codex. I think the title is  Trading with Kal-Sharok!

Oh nice! I definitely remember reading it before Inquisition, but that's an even better source.

I wonder if Kardol **** his armor upon hearing about red lyrium, which ends up creating more of itself.

I was very excited to hear about dwarves in Tevinter. I really want a game set there but I thought that would mean no dwarves... In hindsight, that makes no sense because lyrium, but hey, hindsight is always great.

Also I'm a bit annoyed that I can't spend time with Cassandra after completing the game.

"Hello Inquisitor" is all I get.

....well okay then.

EDIT: And Josephine's gone. Christ she even took the chair and the door with her! And the Undercroft is completely empty. No Dagna or Harritt or crafting stations or anything. And all the bottles I collected throughout the game vanished. Somebody's been hitting my private collection.

Well that's a bizarre thing to do for the post-endgame Bioware. Moreso since Josephine still appears in the War Room.

I recall not finding Blackwall and Cullen in their usual spots after beating the game, but a couple of fast travels fixed that. Apart from sharing their final thoughts, yeah, no more interactions or kiss options or anything. I didn't even think to check the booze collection, good eye.

Post-game is pretty disappointing, imo. One brief convo, really about the Divine business, and then they don't speak anymore....can't even snog your sweetie, sigh.  You can't do any more companion content, and at least one is guaranteed to be out of your party. I was looking forward to doing post-game content, but now I'm just doing it on a pre-final battle save.

Dwarfquisitor says "You caught me! And I was trying so hard to be taller..."

He then says something like "You can't be taller... not without the Titans" I believe. However I may have misheard as I had the surtitles turned off and the music/SFX sometimes drowns out dialogue.

I wonder if the Titan comment means something or not. Umm his dad is a dwarf, so kid don't worry about getting any taller.

Maybe the "titan" is some form of armor that is something like a golem. What I mean maybe (kinda like iron man) the titian is something a dwarf can get into and fight in??? I mean I am most likely wrong, but the idea to me is EPIC!

Thoughts?

Someone finally got his silverite Legion of the Dead Armor (so it's not class restricted).  Wanna guess who?

Awwwww, yeah!

My god. I need that armor for Olim. I though Hella looked kind of weird in it, like she was drowning, but I also didn't craft it for her, just saw it in the preview screen and went "eh", so maybe I should try it.

The after game stuff is pretty much what I expected, to be honest, and why I just do stuff before the end. Sure there might be some new quests, but without character interactions... meh. Maybe with DLC later? Dunno, not really a big deal to me. I still have a lot I haven't explored yet.

Going for a Dorn replay finally and will do more exploring and quests now. Remade him last night and he looks pretty good... until I noticed I left him with the default preset eyelashes, and they're longer than the ones I had before. It doesn't look bad, but I'm not used to it so it's bugging me... I'm trying to decide whether it bugs me enough to go back on the hour it took to remake him and the two hours I've already played. :P

Also, re:lack of dwarf content... While I can understand wanting more (and I do!), it's not really an issue for me when playing a dwarf. Like... I expect things to be more human centric when playing through regions like Orlais. I'm actually surprised we got the amount of Dalish and dwarven ruins that we did. And while I've replayed all the way through as a qunari and am halfway through an elf and human plays... Dorn fits the most for me, personally. Perhaps partly because I just like playing him the most and I'm a sucker for Cass' romance, but... I dunno, the fact a dwarf is more distanced from the Chantry culturally actually makes it work better for me, since I like the approach of, "I have no freaking clue if I'm a Herald of anything, but if it makes you hope, sure go for it" to being a sort of religious icon and it just flows best with a dwarf for me.

... Plus I'm fairly short in real life and everyone looking slightly down to talk to me and Dorn looking slightly up feels closest to what I'm used to in real life. People talking to my PC on eye level or up higher is kind of weird for me.

Thank you guys. That's... still pretty creepy, and also raises even more questions. Gah. lol
