I actually ended up having incredibly meaningful moments for both of my dwarf characters at the Well of Sorrows, so I mean, a lot of it is RP, but it worked well for me.

Someone finally got his silverite Legion of the Dead Armor (so it's not class restricted).  Wanna guess who?

Spoiler

Awwwww, yeah!

OMG Where did you find it? I found it once but I was human and couldn't wear it! you have to craft it right? (If so what materials do I need???)

Actually, now I'm curious. Did anyone have their dwarf drink?

The only character I'm planning having do that so far is my elf, but I'm not there with her yet. I am not sure yet whether or not Big Tex will, lmao.

It's in the Hissing Wastes in one of the dwarven tombs.  I think it was the tomb at the far northeast of the map.  The one that's not underground on the top of the cliff, I think.

And, yeah, you have to craft it.  It takes 21 of the main ore that you choose, 12 of another, 8 of another, and 8 leather.  If you choose to make the main ore silverite, it takes away the class restriction (I'm sure it's a bug, but it slipped through the first patch, thankfully!).

And I am loving it for Graeme!

I had Graeme drink because he wanted to get into Bull's pants.  I'm not sure if Agathe will drink.  She's a little uptight, serious, and surly.

Wait, I meant from the Well of Sorrows, not Bull's scene. Unless Bull gives approval there for that and I'm the one who is confused.

Edit: I do recommend letting her drink with Bull and reloading if its OOC for a canon play though, just because female dwarf clips through the table when she's drunk and its hilarious.

All my dwarves will be drinking from the Well, because I like the feeling of being a dwarf that is tied to the Elven's goddess. The choice is important to me. It's like the OGB choice for me.  :D

I am thinking my third dwarf will, just for that factor, but it just didn't work for either character I've played so far. Hella was my blind PT and Olim was designed to get the Belle of the Ball achievement and fulfill my Stone adhering obsession, so the next one will probably be designed around that quest, and probably a Josie romance.

Ha.  Nope.  Just me missing the point.  Sorry.

I will have Agathe drink from the Well.  I'm playing her as getting drunk with power as the game progresses.  Descending into tyrant levels with her pursuit for personal power.

I don't see Graeme choosing to drink from it.

Actually, the only reason my first character drank from the Well was because she was all over Bull and he recommended it. xD not sure if you gain or lose approval for it, though. My dwarf probably won't though, she'd find it a tad overly creepy for her tastes. Freaky magical stuff and all that.

My first dwarf didn't. It was interesting because I didn't want Morrigan to have the eluvian either in Witch Hunt, but we were back to the same type of arguments once more. I even told her no and jumped down the crack to chase after Samson, but somehow we ended up back at the pool ANYWAY. I actually lost sight of my RP right then because dammit, I just didn't want Morrigan to have her way again! I was THIS close to drinking it instead, but I asked for opinions and Blackwall said to let her have it. (D'aww.) So was I really just going to risk the unknown just to be petty in a freaking game? =p I could just picture my Cadash looking at Aeducan in bewilderment for pushing her out of the chair and taking over the game. Cadash wasn't truly interested in it so I backed off and let Morrigan have it. I was well-rewarded for my efforts because once I saw what the consequences were, I started laughing my butt off. That was worth it. =D

My second dwarf will drink though.

Yeah, I intend on having my Dalish drink from it for the knowledge of his people and my human might but I'm not sure. Dorn was a bit torn (ha, rhyming!) because the knowledge might help things. Plus Morrigan did withhold a bit of info earlier on in the temple which annoyed him, but ultimately the fact he didn't know what "the cost" was, he wasn't willing to risk it. Turned out to be a good call on his part, though Cass disapproved.

... You know you're addicted to Inquisition and the fandom when you're not only like, "Must play nao!" every day, but you also keep tabbing out to the forums and refreshing your favorite topics every five minutes to see if there's new conversations.

... *Cough*

My graphics card just broke, and so I'm playing on integrated graphics, and its' horrible, but I'm also terrified that when I take it in, they'll need to have my laptop for awhile and HOW WILL I PLAYD RAGON AGE????

...I'll be posting a lot more when that happens lol, but for now, playing my laggy, shiny, horrible game like a proper addict.

At least you're still playing, lol. Getting my daughter over to work on my desktop has turned into a comedy of errors. But my other daughter is still letting me play on her computer some, so I'm getting to play for about an hour a day most days :P

Funny thing is, I've never wanted to play a game when it first launched before. Maybe I should go back to my philosophy of "wait a month until the shiny wears off and see what people say then."

Edit: Not that I'm not sympathizing. I hate having a computer in the shop to be worked on, so I hope it can be fixed without a long stay.

Is the silverrite in the hissing wastes too?

Not sure about the Hissing Wastes, but there's a fair amount of silverite in Emprise du Lion.

@veeia: Gah! That sucks. :C It's always hard when a PC is out of commission or suffers a performance hit. I hope you can get it repaired soon!

Best Silverite farming spot is Emprise du Lion, over the bridge you repair via an operation.

Especially by the sleeping dragon. If you stealth, you can run by her and grab a ton, but if you're too nervous about that, there's plenty that general area.

Tishina, it's true! I can't complain. I mean, I will, if my computer has to be gone longer than a few days, but. like. It's not really a big issue. I'm just obsessed.

This is my first game I've played at launch. I don't regret it, because I've REALLY enjoyed playing it alongside all my friends, but a part of me does wish that there was a way to do that and experience the game after all the obnoxious bugs have been patched.

I tend to always play Bioware games at launch. Only one I kind of regret is ME3, but there's no way I could've waited until the CE came out to play it for the first time, so... it still panned out. :P

So, I went to remake Dorn because the eyelashes were bothering me enough... He looks awesome, yay! Start game... BAM! I get that bug where you show up in the Fade area instead of transporting to the cell with Cassandra and Leliana. ONLY time I've ever gotten that bug too. Argh. Time to start over again. <_<

... On the bright side, I'm getting progressively more efficient at rebuilding Dorn's face. :P

I feel obligated to give my Cadash an average-y beard, since my Aeducan has a fancy schmancy braided one and my Brosca's rocking the stubble.

It's like Goldilocks and the Three Beards... gotta find one that's juuusst right.

Yeah, I tend to avoid newly launched games because they're either glitched, or the initial excitement wears off fast (I've saved money on a lot of games that way). :P

Oh, no, I'm so sorry. I feel for ya. My computer didn't even meet the minimum specs. I updated the graphic cards and RAM as needed over the years, but it was the motherboard that became the oldest part and with the help/feedback of a friend who knew what parts to recommend, I had to watch youtube videos and read tutorials to put the whole thing back together. So stressful, but I emerged cackling like a madman, drunk off my newfound power to build a computer. One thing to cross off my bucket list. Let's not do that again anytime soon, OK?

I hope your issues get resolved soon. =/

I saw that they said they had extra stuff they will put out. They couldn't get them done in time for launch so it'll be out later. I'm holding off on replaying my main character until that happens. Oh, the hotfixes did fix the bugged conversation with Morrigan. I reloaded back to that save and she no longer acted like my warden was male or that we had a kid together.

HAH. I know what you mean. I have a personal rule that I must use different settings whenever I make a new dwarf. HAS to be a different faceshape/nose/whatever. I'll even mark down the number I used so I know to avoid it the next time I roll a dwarf. It helps them all to feel individual instead of carbon copies of each other. I had three different Aeducans, three different Broscas, one Kader (orlesian warden for Awakening) in addition to replaying their games a few times. I'm looking at a minimum of 12 dwarven games for DAO alone. =p

I wanted to try out elf for Solas, but I ended up making a second Cadash because it didn't feel right to play a non-dwarf on my Brosca import. I want to see how my Aeducan/Brosca worlds play out for my future dwarves so I will keep that going the best I can.

I'm glad I'm not alone! I had to reroll my Aeducan because his beard was the same as Bhelen's. "Daaaad, he's copying meeee!" Oghren's got a cool beard, too, and I feel like he and Aeducan would just stand there glaring at each other, trying to out beardstroke one another. Don't ask.

Solas is totally worth rolling an elf. Though I understand wanting to play a Cadash for a Brosca import. My Brosca encouraged Burkel to establish a Chantry in Orzammar and the irony of a dwarven Herald of Andraste in that same world state is too beautiful to resist.

Hah! I didn't even think of it like that. Once I understood dwarven culture better, I started walking by Burkel on subsequent playthroughs.

Naw, I dislike the Chantry infringing on Orzammar's religious and cultural practices as much as anyone, but my duster figured they needed all the hope they could get.

Though now I just picture Burkel falling to his knees like PRAISE ANDRASTE! I just... meta trololol him. Uh, assuming he didn't get himself assassinated between DAO and now.

I'm torn between having my canon run for Nasir drink from the Well or not. On the one hand, it does seem in line with his character. He's basically the guy who will take one for the team (which is why after much thought, he decided while being a Templar would be handy and useful, being a Champion was far more important) and as far as anyone knew it was a dangerous route to take.

He also knew what Abelas meant by the Well's dangers, so it sort of reinforces his desire to drink. Suffering from a lot of PTSD that's sort of been going up... and up... and up.... well, he doesn't want Morrigan to risk her neck for this.

But on the other end of the spectrum, seeing that

Spoiler

It's hard for me to figure out what would happen. I'm torn between what Nasir feels and what I, the writer, enjoy.
