Remake your ladies!!!! All the dorf pictures, ALL OF THEM!!!

Thinking I'm gonna recreate my Brosca in the CC as soon as I get my card fixed, anyone else done that?
...I am so pumped about this idea I may just do it today anyway, shiny hair be damned.
The hard part's going to be choosing his hair. I guess he let his cornrows down sometime between 9:30 Dragon and now...
Shame he wasn't a lady qunari. I've heard that they love cornrows still, even if it's not in fashion in 9:41 Dragon. Something like 25% of them have cornrows. Just saying......
Oh and speaking of pictures, crossposting from the BW thread, here's a photoset I made of all the really well done (imo) height differences in the Cadash/BW cutscenes.

http://schmooplesthe...and-i-passed-by...I passed by the three dwarves standing together and they made mention of Paragon Aeducan and how she’s been declared dead by King Harrowmont due to lack of communication...
Aww. Seeing the height differences reminded me of a DA:O Alistair wedding mod that came out a couple months ago. When I learned there was a wedding for dwarves, too, I had to reinstall DAO again just to see how it played out. I had seen videos of the human version where they got married in the Ferelden throne room so I was shocked and thrilled to see the dwarf version play out in Orzammar. Even though the whole thing is unrealistic, it's a very nice fantasy, I loved it. I really, really appreciate dwarves being included in this mod considering how many creators I've seen flat out say they refused to do anything dwarf-related back when DAO was all the rage.
Not my main Aeducan since Alistair walked out at Landsmeet, but I did have a different Aeducan that sided with Bhelen and put Alistair on the throne so they're both royalty of sorts.

Why is this the first I'm hearing of this mod?! ![]()
It's awesome that they took the time to make this, no-one ever really does any dwarf mods for Origins. Seriously, it took me to ridiculously long time to find a way to fix that weird floating arm bug in DAO with some of the armours...
It came out right before DAI so I think it got lost in the noise. I didn't know about it until a friend sent me the link.
If you're not aware of tmp7704's work, there are a bunch of fantastic dwarf friendly mods in addition to other stuff that enhances the enjoyment of the game. I definitely recommend "mild romance scenes" for the Alistair + dwarf tent scene. I used to skip through that, but his version is so much better. Just different angles, very well thought out, and embraces the height differences. There is also a dwarf female proportion mod that addressed the too-long arms. It didn't bother me personally, but I know plenty of people couldn't get past it and this mod was a real boon for helping them play dwarves. I'm sure there are more dwarf friendly mods from other modders, but I forgot to backup my bookmarks when I upgraded my computer.
Oh my gosh, what a lovely mod.
I am already playing around with 3D programs and trying to refresh my mind from my old TES modding days, because I have seen the DA:I modding community, and they are doing some fantastic things already (nothing is ready for public use yet), but it's very human/elf centric and somebody's gotta try to make armors and cool things for dwarves. ![]()

Haven't yet, but planned on it; I already did it with my canon Amell Warden (the guy in my avatar):
My Brosca was my second favorite Warden to play, so I'd always intended to remake him in the CC too, just haven't gotten to it yet.
Also, nice photoset veeia! I should compile some of my Cadash/Cass pics for something similar, so we have a male dwarf/human frame of reference too.
Sure, I'll see what I can do tomorrow.
I've been out all day on errands and I just don't have the energy to fish through 4,000+ screenshots at the moment. ![]()
I think I might do a replay of origins now that I finished my first play through of inquistion. Question dwarf fans:
should I go for the dwarven noble or the Dwarven commoner?

He just knows how to work that air of authority.
You can't go wrong with a dwarf! I personally like the Aeducan origin better, but Brosca better overall.
Just depends on what kind of story you want to play. Have you already done both?
I have done both though only once and that was some time ago.
Personally I prefer Aeducan because I enjoy politics (though I dislike the origin's handling of it, but I've gone into that so many times on the old forums I shan't repeat it here) but Brosca does have a very nice epic moment.
^ A good suggestion.
I would say I love both origins for different reasons, and it's a close call... But I do like the Aeducan origin slightly more. That said, I much, much preferred plaything through as my Brosca. Not sure if that had more to do with him being a casteless or just the kind of personality he had vs my Aeducan.
It's weird because while I enjoy the Aeducan storyline more, I prefer the Brosca Origin.
Brosca has a great opening since you get to see the underdog manage to show up the nobles and demonstrate how utterly broken and backwards the caste system in Orzammar is. The dwarves are actively stopping great warriors from being in the army, simply for a mark on their face, due to one of their ancestors doing (or just being accused of) something no-one remembers or cares about anymore?
I actually prefer both versions more as a female character, as with Aeducan, we get to see how how her capability as a warrior reduces some of the more obvious sexism in Orzammar. In the male Aeducan version, everyone seems to hate the idea of a woman fighting in the Proving and wants you to show her up, but in the female version, not only is it not mentioned when you face her, but she admits to seeing you as a good role model.
Female Brosca meanwhile also gets a hint of this, as Beraht chose them for Carta work rather than making them into a concubine as they did with Rica. Sure, it might be because Rica's more pliable than Brosca (who's implied to have a reputation for talking back), but I like to think it had more to do with Beraht recognising Brosca's skill at arms and realising they were a better investment for him to have her knocking heads, than trying to sweet-talk a noble into the bedroom.

Oh, thank you! I've never seen that one! I've seen the human one, and one specifically for a Dalish/Zevran romance, but I always wanted a mod for a warden wedding (Alistair or not) and was disappointed my other romances didn't have the option.

My noble Aeducan. I love this mofo.
Also, Female Aeducan gets Gorim!

and then gets her heart broken by Gorim

I slightly prefer the commoner origin, but both are great.
