And oh yes, I adore Maevaris. I was giddy when she made a mention in the war table. Sad they couldn't fit more in, but maybe in the future, eh? I would love to actually see her in-game at some point in the series.

 

I'm really very, very hopeful that she will show up in DA 4.  Gaider loves her and wanted to include her in DA:I beyond the War Table, but it was too late.  I'm really hoping that she shows up as a companion.  If they are in Tevinter, she'd be an excellent choice to represent non-traditional magisters.  Plus, she would definitely have great dialogue with a dwarf PC.  We know she fancies them!

I love Brosca/Alistair, tbh. Both outcasts who have crappy parents, but Alistair is the Knight and Brosca was the Criminal. My canon Brosca was an angry woman who was taken aback and changed/softened by his affection and sweetness.

...then she exiled him it was awful, but you don't have to do that, haha. Keep him as a warden and its a lovely ending for them.

Or you can go my approach, with Alistair on the throne and Brosca as his mistress. Perfectly respectable, and the Brosca family now has the ears (and other parts) of two kings!

Yeah, I remember reading they didn't have time to fit her in, so I was excited and surprised when I saw her name pop up on the war table. It was more than I'd expected.

 

As far as Brosca romances go, mine "romanced" both Morrigan and Leliana, in that he bedded both of them and technically (in his first playthrough) was "with" a hardened Leliana. He was also my only character to go to the Pearl as a customer, and the only one to do the fourway with Isabela, Zevran and Leliana. His second playthrough, I had him with nobody at the end because I can't picture him tied down (outside the bedroom anyway, oh-HO!). Plus it was weird for me to see Leliana even temporarily with any of my characters other than my Amell. I was very, very amused during my DA2 Brosca import though, when Isabela mentioned "knowing" him and even referenced the fourway to Leliana when she appeared.

I noticed this cool little reference in DAI. If your Aeduncan dies in DAO,  in DAI you can actually pick up loot called 'Paragon Aeduncan statue'.  (I'm not sure, but I think the same applies for Brosca). If you don't have a U.S dwarf import, than it's just paragon branka statues.

Hmm, I'm playing my daughter's WS which is a dwarf Warden, but she didn't make the US and I think I've gotten both the Branka and Aeducan statues. Which is a little funny since her WS is a Brosca.

Yes! I thought that in DAO with the archdemon dream. And the d**ned Fade (dwarves are not supposed to go into the Fade. Or do magic!)

I think that was just a template of the lore, but it'll change as we progress throughout the stories. But get ready to hear  people scream "They aren't staying loyal to their lore."

My canon is Brosca/Zevran, she likes him because he reminds her of Leske and the occasional flings they had but you know, moar emotional things happened and it blossomed into more.

Catina may be a carta rogue but she's heard the tales of Brosca and is similar in her pragmatic ways, looks (both baldies) but a bit more reckless.

She longs for Varric but Sera kinda grew on her instead.

Yeah, I wish we had a scene where a dwarf had a freak out after dreaming for the first time.

 

The closest we got to this was Oghren mentioning his weird dream in Awakening, although since Oghren tends to see a lot of weird stuff after getting completely loaded, I suppose this isn't all that too different from being awake for him?

Too funny. I only remember that I'd gotten both Aeducan and Branka statues because I actually had both in inventory at the same time and was trying to figure out whether they were a set I should be collecting. And I not only know she's never played the US ending, when I talked to Lel, she told me how she was going to rejoin the warden after everything's over, so this is definitely a living warden PT.

Thank you! Just listened through them with my daughter. I love that he apparently married Rica once he could (that whole paragon thing is handy after all), which means he really was attached to her. I'm starting to think my instinct about Harrowmont was definitely right. And awww, once Bhelen had the throne, he's not a bad brother after all (just because he tries to get you killed first...)
