So I finally got Inquisition here. And got time to play it. And now I'm about 2/3s of the way through the story (I THINK).
I am insanely pleased with playing a female dwarf tank. It's all there. The comic smallness. The sheer joy of beating something three times my size... It's just really, really enjoyable. And then there's also the ridiculous camera angles, which have always pleased me. My favorite one so far was my dwarf walking up to Cullen while he was standing on the wall. It showed the outside of the wall for the first shot. Which... Led to the top of my dwarf's hair being the only thing in view.
I'm playing a pretty snarky dwarf, for a change. The American voice works great for dry humor. I wound up going romance-free (though I did flirt with Sera a bit before going "eh"), and I'm generally fairly merci...
Look, Cole is my dwarf's best friend. So I'm a damn hippy in this game. IF I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ANNOYINGLY NICE, MAYBE COLE SHOULDN'T BE SO ADORABLE.
No regrets about going templar first, though I wish there was a chance to be a bit more upset about being dragged into the fade so much, even by my supposed friends-looking-at-you-Solas.
Champion is an amazing spec.
I really want to have a girl's night out at the bar with Harding, Dagna and Bianca. So we can all gossip about Varric.
