My USB worke! Now how can I get my pics from my USB to the BSN? It always pops up huuuge on here.
You have to upload the pics to some site like deviantart and then link them here.

I spent a lot of time doing sidequests before "Wicked Hearts."
As for the quest itself. . . maybe I didn't mess up as badly as I think. I *feels* like a frustrating slog, though. I've wasted tons of halla on various doors I couldn't open anyway (had three of five halla for one door, wasted two on another door that needs three, etc.) I'm all out of halla for the door in Celene's private chambers, which means I can't get the result I wanted. I feel as if I spent two hours running around in circles and not doing much.
Maybe I should give myself time away from this character before giving the quest another go.
It's an interesting quest. You don't really need to do any of those sidequests. In fact, they actually hurt your chances at court approval because it requires you to be away from the court for a while. I think Mira's advice is good. Take a day or two away from the character and then come back to the quest. It's actually a really fun one if you embrace The Game aspect. If you continue to talk to people and revisit areas that you'd be previously, you'll get enough evidence to shape the outcome however you want without worrying about the halla doors.
That being said, don't force it. If you aren't feeling the character anymore, then it's probably better to start over with someone new.
Either way, let us know what you decide! And, if you start over, show us pics of your new dwarfy Inquisitors!

I got some clips lol....not the best.... but I may try to put them up later
Any of yours wear the tatoos? I want to, but I like not having em...I mean, Varric's castless, a surfacer, so therefore he shoul wear a mark
In the DC origin in DAO, there's a surface merchant who'll tell you that his "tattoo" is just painted on while he's in Orzammar, so you can do without the tattoo as a surfacer (actually, I think the casteless mark is referred to as a brand a couple of times).
I went to great lengths to secure 100% approval during that whole bit and the trophy didn't drop for me. Infuriating!
Yeah, that happened to me too. In my first playthrough on 360, it dropped the first time. On my second playthrough on the XBONE, it didn't. Urgh. Guess I can't complain too much since I already got it once. But it is always frustrating when the achievements glitch. Dragon's Bane glitched for me too. On both consoles. On the 360, I was able to get it by beating the last dragon twice. One the XBONE, that didn't work. So that's two glitched achievements now for XBONE. I'll see if I can get them on my subsequent playthroughs.
I'm not even going to try for 100% court approval with Frederick.
It was so easy for my human Inquisitor, but I'm sure it will be difficult for a dwarf. Good thing my dwarf won't give a crap about impressing those Orlesian dolts. Lol.

It's actually not that difficult. You get gimped at the start, but it's pretty easy to make it up. Especially if you are totally evasive with Florianne during the dance.
But, I can also imagine that it's fun to play someone who doesn't give a **** about The Game and just tromps their way through the Ball with reckless abandon.

Yeah, I want to shock and appall people at the ball for fun with my dwarf, since my human Inquisitor was so prim and proper. I accidentally ran onto one of the couches with my human Inquisitor and lost a tiny bit of approval, while some of the onlookers commented on the Inquisitor's behavior.
I plan on jumping up and down on that couch Tom Cruise style with Frederick. Lmao.

I think your dwarf needs to be a lot shorter to be Tom Cruise.
I'm sad that there wasn't much content for dwarves in this game. While not a lot of people play dwarves or care about them as much as elves or humans, but their lore wasn't very expansion. DAO is about humans, DA2 is about qunari and humans. DAI is about Dalish elves. We need a game with dwarves as a focus to build more interest for them.
Spoiler
It's hard for a dwarf to arrive on time, what with their stubby legs and all.

Follow your DAO warden's advice and asks Iron Bull to toss you there.

Preferably through a window. Orlesians love dramatic entrances.

Well here's hoping for DA4.
My enthusiasm for dwarves came on rather suddenly. To the point where I am now considering my current run as a dwarf to be my canon.

And our numbers continue to bolster.
btw: I'm so glad I took everyone's advice on my first lady dwarf playthrough. Now that I've reconceptualized Agathe, I'm loving her. I'm about to end my game with Graeme (sad face), so I'm almost certainly going to do Agathe next. She's now a tough, capable, generally helpful, and fairly heroic Carta archer (with a tendency to be a little sarcastic when she's sick of someone's nonsense) and she's back to being a lesbian. I think Josephine might be her gal (I'm so intrigued by that duel scene and since I'm not really into lady parts anyway, I don't mind the lack of a sex scene....
), although I'm not ruling Sera out yet. Plus, having done a two-handed warrior and dual wield rogue, the archer battle dynamics are an interesting new approach for me. I'll post up pics of her as I go along. Alas, she's not as handsome as Graeme, but she'll have to do! ![]()
I may not play dwaves, but I'm all for more dwarfy content. A Paragon of Her Kind was my favorite critical path quest in DAO.
Been MIA due to company staying over and a bunch of family obligations. I have soooo many notifications letting me know this place has been jumping in the meantime! Catching up real quick. =D
I hope it's not Bianca. I want people to be neutral or positive about dwarf content, and so many people already hate her...I could see her being like a Fiona thing if that happened.
Selfish, meta textual reasons, but there you go.
Whoah, wait, Bianca's getting hate? =/ I haven't seen those comments myself, but I guess it has to do with her quest with Varric, yeah? Or is it merely because she's the apple of his eye?
OMG I love her! Who will you romance this time around? Sera? Let's be honest Gilsa - your dwarf ladies are the best looking ones
Tish - it's almost Christmas. When will you show us your heroine?!
Aww, thank you. You are very kind. Romancing Iron Bull this time around. I'm very happy to see that you're super enthusiastic about playing Mira again. That's awesome to see.
So I am guessing dwarves are a popular choice?
95% of players play dwarves, right? Right? =p
That reminds me, guys. Seriously. If this thread ever gets locked for whatever reason (it has happened in the past because an argument veered off to political stuff and a mod wasn't in a good mood that day, etc), whoever makes a new dwarf thread needs to come up with a rocking title. I will even settle for something goofy like "Keeping up with the Cadashians" -- ANYTHING but "support" thread. It makes us sound like we have a weakness, like we need people to tell us it's OK because we play dwarves. Am I right? You know I'm right. We need to rebrand ourselves and make us look like we are the place to be!
What the statistics say:
In Dragon Age: Origins, only 5% of all players chose to play the dwarven origins.
What the dwarf fans say:
I'm quoting this because the GIF just made me LOL. PERFECT.
I don't even read the "how dorf work???" threads tbh. I do my dwarf missionary gospel spreading in other arenas, those are just too ridiculous for me.
Me either. There's only so much random acts of kindness I can do each day. My limit is one. =p
So who else loooooves the little bit at the end of the letter from the warden if you're both dwarves? Damn my warden continues to make good on her dwarfy heritage.
I do! The letter is one major reason why I didn't feel right playing a non-dwarf on my Brosca import because even though the letters are the same from both Aeducan and Brosca, I didn't want to cheat my Brosca out of writing to a dwarf. So on my second dwarven playthrough and then I'll finally be able to try another race after this. =D
Thanks! her name is Mina

Hello and welcome! Love your screenshots. Share more when you can!
I forgot to multiquote this, but there was someone frustrated with Wicked Hearts and the halas statues. I agree with that. There are not enough statues to unlock all the rooms so I guess it's a matter of picking which ones to open. Probably better to quick save and reload when the loot isn't that exciting. I did see this comment in another thread: http://forum.bioware...oat/?p=18070585
I found carta assassin armor and carta assassin hood schematics in a crate in the Winter Palace. It is the same appearance as the carta coat but a higher tier.
My character is ready to start "In Your Heart Shall Burn" so I'm waiting for the holidays to pass so I can pick the game back up. Looking forward to Skyhold and going shopping for new decorations. I had previously mentioned that she was pretending she was the Herald of Andraste to grease wheels and get things done faster, but I hadn't been sure of her actual beliefs. I ended up telling Josephine that she didn't believe in either Andraste or the Stone. In fact, I chose that she's never been to Orzammar (like Varric) so the Stone stuff is just a fairy tale as far as she's concerned, y'know? My first dwarf had been to Orzammar "hundreds of times" so it makes sense for her to feel a connection to the Stone and believe in it for herself. I don't know if that makes sense. Anyway, went the agnostic route this time.

Happy holidays all, see you dusters on the other side!
Aww, thank you. You are very kind. Romancing Iron Bull this time around. I'm very happy to see that you're super enthusiastic about playing Merry again. That's awesome to see.

Fantastic photo! I want pictures of your heroine romancing IB! I wonder how will the kissing scene look like? Maybe IB will just lift her up?
After coming to Skyhold I did Crestwood, Exalted Plains, the Winter Palace and major part of Emprise du Lion (I still need to go to fortress) And at that point I went to Western Approach to start Warden's arc (since I heard it's 12-15 lvl quest). As a result I'm at Adamant at lvl 17. I switched to nightmare - I hope the game will balance itself out - cause it's a bit too easy now (and with advanced flask of lightning I'm practically stoping time for 7 seconds). Still I'm having a great time with Merry
I love her ![]()
When should I get Leli's personal quest? (I want a letter from Lia, my CE warden!) No sign of it yet.
Merry Christmas Gilsa!
Ahh thanks for all the tips everyone. Can a site like imgur work for posting pics? ![]()
Another amazing dwarf pic! I feel like I'm always too 'safe' when I go into the CC. I never get daring to create a truly unique character, I always seem to go for the same hairstyle, but vary on the color, change the eyes ever so slightly
Y'know my dwarf rogue has got to be perfect LOL
I was thinking of going with the name Terra. Meh? I mean....Terra Cadash.....
Lol oh Veeia!! My dwarf still has to do a lot to get with your dwarf!!!!
