Is it me… or have we become the popular kids on the block!? lol  . I just want Cadash to meet Shale Cadash. She probably wouldn't even care, because we're are just some "squishy" thing. That would make for a perfect short DLC story. Oh and I always want to see Sigrun  .

Pretty sure that Varric tends to "write what he knows" and pretty much publishes fanfic friendfiction with the names changed. Hard in Hightown's main character is "Donnen", after all, and the captain in it is a woman with fiery hair.

Fantastic photo! I want pictures of your heroine romancing IB! I wonder how will the kissing scene look like? Maybe IB will just lift her up?

 

When should I get Leli's personal quest? (I want a letter from Lia, my CE warden!) No sign of it yet.

 

I thought someone posted a photo of IB hunching over while the dwarf stood on tippy toes to meet his kiss halfway, but that could have been in a different thread. I'll share mine when I get to that point eventually, no worries! =p

 

And I checked my screenshots, I was able to get the letter after the Grey Wardens/Into the Abyss stuff. Leliana will say that she thought the HoF would have been there and then ask if you'd like her to have agents track the HoF down. Say yes and the mission will unlock on the war table. Alternatively you can also pick this up via Morrigan after doing Wicked Hearts, in which she'll suggest tracking down HoF, too. (I did the Grey Warden stuff first so Morrigan wasn't needed, but it's a good back up plan.)

 

Let's say we get a DLC storyline involving a dwarf from the series: 

Harding?

Sandal?

Oghren?

Dagna?

Shale?

 

I'm really finding myself with the majority in loving Harding, but I'm missing Sandal big time.

 

I think Shale is really ripe for a follow-up story here, but considering that she can die in DAO, I think it's possible they might be limiting the amount of characters that can be "hand-waved" into still being alive. Also if they ever want to explore Shale returning to human form, I'd much rather they save her for a full-game where this is her character quest arc, that the protagonist helps her through this transformation. A DLC would be too limited. Soooo ... my next vote would be Dagna, especially if she could see her dad again. =/

I gave her one of the middle aged complexions, and she looked fine in the CC and not that bad in the cell, but when I got her out into the intro lighting, she looked 15 years younger, sigh.

 

She looks great! And I dealt with the exact same issue you did, that the middle complexion turned out to be younger looking in some scenes. It's why I ended up trying the very mature one for my second run so I could see how consistent that skin was throughout the game. Let me tell you that the prologue is just one big hunk of weird. Weird lights, excessive facial animations, weird all-around. Once I triggered "In Your Heart Shall Burn" which is a loooong, loooong, looooooong cutscene, the character I saw in the CC was well represented throughout that transition. I was pleased. Sometimes your character will look middle aged as intended, sometimes not. Not a deal breaker in the long run.

 

And yes, my PC is working, DAI is loaded and plays beautifully. Turns out I have good graphics after all too .

So I've already posted a screenshot of my Dwarf Rogue in another thread, but may throw him in here at one point. Just making my presence known and all, so hey guys!

I've never completed a Dwarf playthrough in any Dragon Age game before, and I definitely didn't intend to play through Inquisition for the first time as one, and yet, I am. I'm loving it so far!  I'm hoping to romance the Iron Bull, because size difference is awesome, and why the heck not? I'm definitely looking forward to screenshots of some Dwarf/IB lovin', so here's to hoping they surface!

Finally found some time to play Inquisition again!

 

Made a trip to the Hissing Wastes to forge the only armour befitting the mighty dwarven Inquistior!

 

 

Now I just need to farm some colour fitting ressources to recreate the Origins Legion armour

Awww, it warms my heart to see new people filing into the Dwarf Appreciation Society. If you get a chance, you should totally replay Origins as an Aeducan or Brosca. With your newfound love of dwarves, it'll be like a whole new game!

Side note, I like the IB size difference too. I'm still deciding whether to romance him as a dwarf or an elf.

I think Inquisition has enough dwarf content to get people interested...there's a hint of mystery there and the background is really fun...plus Varric + Dagna!! I am definitely seeing more dwarfy interest from more people than I would have expected, so yay!

So rogue fans, can someone tell me nice schematics to get? Only Lv. 7, gonna grab the templars, but so far.... I haven't gotten any sweet rogue ones yet, my 1st run as a mage looke better lol

 

 

also.... is subterfuge + tempest or subterfuge + assassin better, since I'm using knives

It would be fun to take in Shale Cadash as a companion, now in dorfie form!

I wonder if she suits Sword & Shield or Two-handed better.

I just got to Skyhold. Being a dwarf during that scene where Cassandra leads you up the stairs so you can formally take your place as the leader..... it's just so much more inspiring and heartwarming than it was with my human Inquisitor.

I won't help with spec cause Merry is an archer (and she's rocking my world as a tempest), but I strongly recommend getting Cullen's rogue schematics perk. It gives you masterwork hunter armor (which is amazing) and a masterwork weapon (a bow for sure since I'm using it, but I think you also get a dagger).

OK, try two for Zhenya. This time I dodged the eye makeup entirely   I'm not entirely happy, again, with how she de-aged out of the CC, but I know my elf's complexion reverted at least partly when I finished the prologue. And I decided to go for flaming red hair since I don't like the blonde shades they offer, with red tattoos. Because she's a tank, and anything that keeps someone looking at you...
