OK, try two for Zhenya. This time I dodged the eye makeup entirely   I'm not entirely happy, again, with how she de-aged out of the CC, but I know my elf's complexion reverted at least partly when I finished the prologue. And I decided to go for flaming red hair since I don't like the blonde shades they offer, with red tattoos. Because she's a tank, and anything that keeps someone looking at you...

Hope everybody is enjoying the holidays. Spent large parts of yesterday playing Inquisition with my sisters eldest, which was super-fun, and Skylanders with her youngest, which wasn't quite so enjoyable. In any case, best wishes to all - heres hoping Santa delivers a meaty Dwarven DLC for us all to enjoy in the coming months (I'd dearly love to see what Orzammar and the Deep Roads look like using the new engine). Nah, I think Harding's popularity does mean a dwarf romance is gonna happen. Or at least maybe Samara style content for her in a DLC? But maybe both.

Bah! If that's the case we shall see how those nug humpers fare in the next blight! We have seen Thedas true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blight and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their darkspawn ignorance will foam up about their waists and all the lords and ladies will look to us and shout "Save us!"... and we shall whisper "no."

 

Ahem... or... something like that.    I would prefer it if they gave us the dwarf romance without further resistance! Resistance against dwarven love is futile!

Thanks! That's the moment she first picked up the sword and shield during the prologue and is about to take on the demon. I've wanted a photo of my own female warrior doing that since the one trailer

I've always had trouble with eye color in DA games. These are a little odd, but I kinda like them. Thanks! I'm looking forward to her first flirt with Harding.

She's one of my favorite NPCs so far. Not actually romanceable, yet, but we have hopes. I think they're using her to try to get people past the mental image of dwarven women as underage girls (Dagna hasn't helped this in the past, as much as I love her). She's definitely been portrayed as adult, competent (and possibly with a criminal background). I almost spit coffee on my screen when she called the guy in the Fallow Marshes a p***k when my Inquisitor was speaking to her. The way Cameron Lee referred to her as, I think, a cute little bundle of murder, also gives me hope.

Hi all! Brand new follower, but I'm just an honorary surface dwarf until I finish my 3 mage playthroughs. I love magic as much as Dagna, sorry!

But I've read the theories on Sandal, and I'm a believer that dwarves might be the greatest force of magic in Thedas! Hope to see that.

So I finally finished the game with Graeme.  Sad but good.

Now I can devote my free time to Agathe.  I'm not sure how far I'll get with her because I'm starting working on my dissertation proposal in a few weeks and I suspect that I'll drop off of the boards/game for a few months at that point.  But I'll give it a good run with her.  She's going to be all of my alternate choices (I've done first choice with Talan and second choice with Graeme, so it's time to explore all of the remaining decisions with Agathe).  It might make her a little inconsistent as a character, but I'm still looking forward to it.

I don't even need real dwarven mages. Just let Dagna find a way to become "runecasters" (aka totally not mage expies!) and I'm happy.

I'll still be around a bit. I'm just going to have to be a lot stricter about my free time. With workin full-time and beginning my dissertation, I really shouldn't spend more than an hour a day online and/or gaming.

My dissertation is in science education. I'm looking at constructivist teaching practices through a particular theoretical lens. Good stuff. Already did a test run on it so it should be a fairly quick year and a half now. (I'm in my fourth year already and getting a little fatigued......)

Interesting! And I'd imagine you are feeling a bit worn out; graduate school is exhausting work to keep up with. I'm more familiar with the humanities. If you're trying to get the proposal written and approved and the whole thing written (I assume you've done most of the research already) and about 18 months, yeah, you're going to be buried a bit. Good luck and hope you're able to drop by at least a couple of times a week!
