I love this image of Nasir. He just seems so done with the whole "You are a chosen one, surviving what you do, saving us all" diatribe he keeps getting.
Also, I'm recreating Nasir right now (and I want to get him perfect and then I'll make a few saves in the beginning with him) but I need your input everybody. Based on the pictures I've uploaded to here before, like on page 76, is this recreation of Nasir more or less what he looks like in the previous pics to your eyes?

I'm gonna post some more New Nasir images and an old one from the opening screen I believe.

New Nasir's face seems a bit... "shorter". Otherwise they seem pretty much identical to me.
He is just missing the majestic beard glow from the old picture ![]()

It's possible it's due to the BSN adjusting the images somehow, or I uploaded Old Nasir's images differently last month then I did for new Nasir.
That said, it seems that I have, upon really close examination, gotten Nasir to be pinpoint accurate in the major sense of who he originally was and adjusted in what areas were faulty to begin with, and now have his canon look.
Either that or I'm so tired I'm hallucinating ![]()
At any rate, thanks Tobi for the input!

Oh blood and spite, my question on the last page had to be the last post of that page. Always happens. Sod it. I'll edit it in later.
Though this is from page 89, I think you mean prayer to the Ancestors Tishina

What Kieran has to say about an dwarf Inquisitor? I saw that if you are an human mage, he will say how you are better off as being an mage, because not having magic would be like "being blind". While if you are an elf he will say your blood is ancient, likely an allusion to the ancient elves of Arlathan, and he says to an qunari how their blood doesn't belong to them (maybe an race that mixed themselves with dragon blood becoming what they are?). So, what does he say to an dwarf?

dwarves are the best in ever fantasy game - cause they are consistent, reliable, grumpy, drunken brawlers - and thats why we love em

I'm still on my second playthrough with Asarja, she's come a long way since Haven. Flirted around a lot too with Blackwall, Sera, and Iron Bull, but she picked IB at the end. They fit really well together.
-snip wonderful pics-
I really have to agree. I started my second dwarf with an open mind towards Sera and Iron Bull (already did Blackwall) and Sera just wasn't doing herself any favors with the constant barrage of "oh hai you're all dwarfy and down there!" comments, even with the banters. Sera commented to Iron Bull that it'd take two dwarves standing on top of each other to reach his height and IB just shrugged that at least they both had a good view. I liked his attitude. I liked that regardless of what race the Inquisitor is, you know the Bull accepts them just as they are. Everyone is short to him, it's all the same. I like how protective he is of Krem. He is just easy and low-maintenance to be with.

That's pretty damn close. I didn't notice the shorter jaw until it was pointed out, but even then that's not an issue whatsoever. I will have to remake my canon dwarf at some point and I can only hope I get as close to her as you did with yours. (I had a friend who was spoiling herself on the game prior to release while I avoided them for the most part. She got some misinformation about Varric and the red lyrium and got me alarmed enough to change my decision in the Keep so I wouldn't have my heart potentially broken. I regret that! Will have to change it back in the Keep and replay that game properly at some point.)
Update on my second playthrough: I had previously mentioned that I wanted to play an older dwarf and decided to channel the spirit of Judi Dench's "M" from her James Bond roles. This game makes it really easy to work with that angle. The artificer spec is full of traps, which I just pretend is advance spy technology. All my dialogue choices are about information: why didn't I know this sooner, how does this help us, let's check it out, etc. I picked all the dialogue perks and choose the history/lore options when they show up because this is a broad that's been around and knows who is who.
The best part so far -- and this was a complete surprise to me because I sided with templars this time -- was that I found my personal James Bond. This is dialogue that actually happened. I asked Dorian how I could be sure he wasn't a spy for the Venatori and let him make his case. I was so tickled with his response that I created some fan art to capture the moment.
I've gone with the Inquisition decoration theme for Skyhold (my version of the "GoldenEye" =p) with some dragon thrown in here and there. I ended up choosing this bed because the stairs on the sides amused me. I also liked the mask on top of the bed since it enhanced my spy theme.
Loving this playthrough. Onwards!
Edit: Oh, I forgot! I stumbled on this James Bond cast photo and cackled at how Judi Dench has the same height ratio that dwarves do with their human counterparts. It keeps getting better and better!

The Iron Bull rocks. He is basically an honorary dwarf.

So, on a dwarf-related topic, who here would not be surprised if a future expansion made Scout Harding a romance-able character? I mean, it almost feel that she was going to be, but then something got cut.

This is just my assumption, I can let you know tomorrow if it works, but I did this to farm Tier 3 schematics and it worked.
Go to an area that has high value things in lootable containers(temple of Suledin is where I farmed schematics)
If you open a container and it has two+ items in it, only take the high value one. So say it has a Superb Ring of Cunning (value 2220) and 200 gold. Leave the gold. Do that with every container in the area, then leave. Once you come back, those containers will have regenerated random loot and you can do it over and over as long as you always leave one item in .
Unique expensive items are rarer drops, so it might take awhile. I will report back on how it works, haha. At the very least, I'll have even more schematics and money, so hey!
I believe there's the exploit where you can farm amulets of power for money ; P

I would rather she be a romance in another game and not a expansion.
That's really cool Gilsa! Are you good at making fan art!?

I don't see why they couldn't DLC her romance into the existing game. After all, it's almost there already. All we need is a little bit more dialogue, a short special quest of sealing the deal and some kinky visuals. ![]()
Then again, why not go the extra mile and make the romance finalize itself through a full, excellent DLC adventure. There can't be a shortage of ideas as to what to bring to the table. As the main scout, she could be worked into any new area and questline.
Come on Bioware, do it. ![]()

Well, I'm good at trying. =p I find joy in expressing my fandom with wallpapers for my desktop so I can rotate through the characters that I've loved over the years. I am somewhat envious of those that can make those nifty GIFs so that's what I'd like to try next, just to see if there's any magic in it for me.

Despair not, duster! I did unearth this rare gem many years ago on the old forums prior to DAO's release and took a screenshot . (I'm not able to find the original thread anymore.) Either this prophecy will come to pass or it's going to be one of those things he regrets saying in the first place. Still awesome to see such a declaration put out like that in the first place, y'know? SUCH CONVICTION.

Ok so quick rant here. I just finished up my female Dwarf playthrough and loved it. She is now my personal cannon for DAI. But I hated the way the game handled all the Andraste stuff. My Inquisitor took every opportunity to point out that she was not Andraste's Herald and did not believe in the maker. But when you say it everyone just kinda shrugs at you and is like "ok thats nice Herald. Praise the Maker."
Also at the very start when talking with Josephine you can say you feel a connection to the stone. And her reply is like "Ok well we will have to keep that quiet..." Man did that annoy me. I wanted my Inquisitor to get mad at her. Tell her you are not ashamed of who you are or willing to hide it.
ok rant over. enjoy your day.
