Ha! The reactions thus far in the Cass thread.... they make me laugh.
You're my hero, TWER. I surprise it isn't more people attacking you.

Honestly I probably wouldn't call this attacking even. I went in expecting worse hahaha
Oh nothing
I went and read, lol. It actually looks mostly like one or two people who have really odd ideas of what's important and are kind of vocally sure they must represent all normal people ![]()

Well I think when he keeps saying it's some kind of fetish, he basically is.
Oh and plus a mod had to come in there early in the thread to make people stop fighting.
Yeah it was v mellow compared to earlier, but eh, not worth dragging up like it irritates me but the last thing I want is drama llamas paying attention to us so I stay away, haha.
Yea I know what you mean, but it sucks that I can't even talk about Cassandra with other Cassandra's fans, especially when I don't even bring up my dwarf
. Are there any other fan thread that hates race pairing?
Huh... didn't know a mod came in earlier. Though I do think I see what you mean Cespar and Tishina, as of recently.
Idk. I'm a regular in Sera and Blackwall threads, super friendly awesome threads (hilarious bcuz Sera is actually the only LI who has meaningful issues with the different races but we all talk calmly and nice about it) , and I pop in IB's sometimes, and everyone there is great too. Haven't looked at the Cullen thread in awhile, but Cullenites are generally super accepting and kind...no idea the state of Solas's, but I imagine it's just a Lavellan wonderland right now, but no animosity towards others. ![]()
Talk about Cass here! I'm a Cass fan! And you know how I feels about dem Cass/Cadash, yessssssss

I hang out on the Cullen thread a lot, and yes, they're great people.
Before launch, I compulsively read almost every thread, and while I never contributed because I didn't have anything particularly meaningful to say about Cullen and even when it was OT, I was shy back then (ahahhaa, not anymore, glances at rapidly growing postcount in shame), but I always enjoyed reading it and its turned me into a staunch Cullenite defender, if not a Cullenite.
Cullen was my first romance on my first PT ![]()
Now my newest is gonna #RidetheBull
I like Cadash/Dorian.
I lol at the first kissing scene due to the interesting and downright strange things going on with the cinematics. The random growing and shrinking that Cadash does, and the way that Dorian kind of just presses his face into Cadash's face. Lol. Bless the animators, they tried.
Well I have posted in the inquisitor thread and figured I should finally throw down here, because no matter what I try, I am struggling to play anything but Dwarf. Has to be the beards that can actually fit the face...
Zetrial, he looks great! I like the dark hair and beard!

Cheers, I've had severe restartitis with DA:I. I wanted a human male mage at first, but the hair choices don't fit any decent looking face I make, it's either gaps near the cheeks, clipping with the ears or having to go a wider face than I want with low odd looking ears. So it is bald & stubble or OCD hell, then I found the Dwarf and how well a decent face can fit the beards and hair.
I've been told this thread is a safe heaven for dwarf players, and I was wondering if you guys would mind if I joined? I've enjoyed playing a dwarf since DA:O (my Brosca Warrior is my canon Hero of Ferelden, and he and my Aeducan rogue princess saved the world side by side; it's a long story) and it only felt natural to play DA:I as Cadash - I am quite fond of the idea of dwarves saving the day while humans are too busy sitting on their hands, I admit. ![]()
By some mischance, I also happen to be a CassxCadash shipper.
So I'm just going to post some screenshots of my Fjalar (also known as the nerd) and sit quietlly in a corner while basking in the awesomeness that are the dwarves in the DA settings, if it's fine with everyone.
Oh, I also cook delicious brownies. ![]()
Welcome! All fans of Dwarves are welcome here, and fear not for your tale of your Brosca and Aeducan, as my own Aeducan led not one, not two, not three, but nine other Wardens (alongside the original companions) against the Blight!
Brosca was well and truly bad ass, but I must admit, Tabris was my man, the city elf origin just gave me motivation the others couldn't. I feel dirty for playing a knife ear but that is my confession.
I couldn't really get into the City Elf origin unless playing as female. Probably too many episodes of Xena and Buffy at a critical age.
Both dwarf origins, on the other hand, rocked no matter what. I'm looking forward to playing my Cadash Inquisitor come tax season.
(Although, I do find it absolutely ridiculous that after three games, an engine change, and a next-gen step, hair textures and cutscene animation have not evolved at all and possibly regressed. I may have to commit heresy and play my first beardless dwarf if I can't find a facial hair option that doesn't look like it was brushed on with MS Paint.)
Spoiler
Dayum, that smoldering, brooding look makes it look like he's been taking lessons from Thorin Oakenshield or something, tbh.

That's an awesome looking dwarf, good sir!
I agree about the beards. They are not perfect (they still look like something from Paint; the usual Bioware Hair & Beard problem), but they look the most fitting on dwarves. Dwarves are just destined for majestic beards!
