I imagined Nasir to be in his thirties, maybe 35 at most. My Aeducan was 22-23 in my mind during Origins so Nasir was 24-25 when they first met. Nasir probably doesn't look like he's in his thirties though if he shaves, but that's okay. The beard makes him look more his age.

DalishRanger, I think I liked your post earlier, but I wanted to reinforce that it is looking AWESOME, I'm excited.
She looks great, Tish!I hope you like archer! I'm a DW girl through and through, but DA:I sold me on archer too, it's super fun!
It really is hard to do 30s I think. Nevidimia pulls it off, for sure. Olim is about that age too, but he's supposed to be a young looking 35 year old. He's always had a boyish, ~handsome~ look about him, and it made the Carta underestimate him. Sometimes it doesn't work and he looks like a babby, but other times the light and the way his skin crinkles totally sells it:
*snip*
Hella's around 27. She was gonna be 22, but then she romanced BW so I retconned her age up a little bit because well, I'm not against big age gaps and it's not like 5 years makes a huge difference, but it made me feel better and then I got to add in 5 more years of backstory that made her a lot deeper of a character.
Thanks! I think she might look a little younger than I was aiming for, but the androgyny makes it trickier than usual. I've noticed my IQs also look younger during the prologue than later. She ended up with a slight ethnic look that I can't quite put my finger on, possibly native american, that I wasn't intentionally trying for. I really like the way she looks (no makeup FU for once, I hope, yeah!)
I think Olim definitely looks like early to mid 30s with a little bit of a baby face. In fact, he ended up with the kind of lips and eyebrows you want to play with ![]()

I usually range my characters in my age, because with a early age, means there is more chance for them to figure out their part in the world. And they can make lots and lots of mistakes being young. Age range:20-25. So Cassandra is basically an cougar, and I don't how my Cespar can handle such a extraordinary woman.
I guess dwarves tends to know how to treat a woman of her status. ![]()

I'm just enjoying a game for once where I can play characters who are older, especially since I feel really silly playing 18 year old PCs. One of my Dalish looks mid to late 30s; I haven't tried for older than that yet. The others are mid 20s to mid 30s, I think.

TWER, you're making me miss my warden Brosca and Aeducan. I played origins so much, which I always wanted to write a story of Brosca living in Orzammar with Leliana. I did tell her I was returning home to my sister, and she wanted to go with me. I loved my Brosca, but I ended up making Aeducan my canon, because of the son he could have with the noble-hunter.

Hello there.
It is good to be able to play as a dwarf again in the DA world. I love dwarves, always played as one in every RPG when they are available.
And the dwarves body in Inquisition looks good, no more "Ape" types arms.

Finally got my Dwarf dude looking good.
Flint Cadash prefers being in the Inquisition, as he never liked being in the Carta, and believes more in the Chantry than the Stone.
Hopefully I'll get more pics to share in here of Flint and my other Dwarf Catherine.

Hey everyone, that one scene with Solas where he and the Inqusitor are walking through Haven and then Solas tells the Inquisitor to wake up, and then the Inquisitor suddenly does because he/she was dreaming.....
Does that happen with a dwarf Inquisitor? Because
![]()
I don't know since Solas hates me and doesn't want to talk at all at this point.

It does, yes. I like to imagine that the only reason this scene happens with a dwarf is because the Mark allow them to dream somewhat (or "pull them higher" like Cole says) but yeah. ![]()

We can dream for every dwarf now. I think the Shapers needs to suck up his "traditions" for one year and write in the memories about Inquisitor Cadash. I think the dwarves would want to remember about a special dwarf saving Thedas. Just think about all the business they could have. Especially my Cadash since I sided with the Templars, which most people respect them.

Welcome Olwayne and Leo! Do you guys have background for your characters!? Or their stance in Thedas? Like pro-mage, pro-chantry, etc....
Thanks for the welcome.
I have 2 dwarf inquisitors :
Viconia (yes, I am a Baldur's Gate enthousiast
) is a witty, feisty marksman and artificer, she is a reluctant hero, she was quite happy in the Carta and feels a bit overwhelmed by the all inquisition things. But she is a quick learner and highly intelligent so she will adapt and overcome
.
Elrik (I know, I know....) is a more "typical" dwarf, a warrior who like to swing his axe around. That being said is a man of refined gastronomical taste and prefers to drink Orlesian wines in fine glasses rather than quaffing beer(quaffing mess up his beloved beard).
I will eventually published pics of those two, but I just switch from Xbox to PC.

By the way here are 2 pics of the latest warrior I added to my Warhammer dwarf army.

I am thinking of converting some to make them look like my DA characters.

Just some minor details as I only got my two Dwarf playthroughs started up recently.
Flint - worked as an enforcer for the carta, though he was never fond of being a part of it. He is pro-Chantry and does believe in the maker, actually believing that he truly is chosen and relieved that he has become a member of the Inquisition and can do something he feels is right. He's also pro-Templar mainly because he has no real understanding of magic or Mages.
Catherine - cheery and slightly sarcastic, she enjoyed being a smuggler and loves the fresh air of the surface and finds Orzammar (which she got to visit a few times) to be far too cramped for her liking. Catherine would be pro-coin as she prefers whatever can make her rich.

I'm about to "Heart Shall Burn" but.... finally finally finally got to having Xavier flirt with Cass
It was 100% pure adorkable, it was worth every minute to get him this far.
I more or less test new toons out to Post Haven/Skyhold. See if I like the looks, got the right class, stuff like that.
love it love it!
He looks rougish. He feels rougish.

More work on the thing, finished inking and cropped out some extra space that wasn't needed. Also changed Cass' pose a bit:
Will work on coloring it tomorrow. For now I need to eat something after working on this all afternoon. xD Cheers guys, and welcome new salrokas!

Hello!
I just wanted to join this lovely thread with my lady Inquisitor Cadash, sword and shield warrior and Champion.
I don't have any screenshot available right now, but I'll grab one so I can post it here - I have already finished my playthrough with her and I am considering if I should keep it as my canon playthrough: I am pretty satisfied with it.
So, my Malika Cadash wasn't born in the Carta, they "acquired" her as a baby through some kind of shady deal.
She doesn't know where she comes from, and doesn't care, as long as she can finally stay away from the Carta, she is happy.
She was being used to do most of the legwork that required to fight, but not assassinate, and she volunteered to spy at the Conclave, hoping for a chance to get away.
As soon as she finally got free from the Carta, she did her best to act as morally "good" as possible, to seek redemption.
The reason for me to rolplay her this way is that I never liked the Carta and I was kind of bummed I had to be a Cadash. I had no idea about major plot points regarding one of the NPCs being so easily connected.
If you are familiar with D&D, she is basically the equivalent of a lawful good paladin. She isn't Andastrian, but starts to believe in the Maker during the events of Inquisition.
She is allied with the templars.
She is good friends with everybody in the Inquisition, especially Cassandra. She likes to travel with Cassandra, Sera, and Dorian.
She actually is extremely protective towards Dorian, and considers him like a young brother.
She is in a happy relationship with Josie.
The reason for creating a lady Cadash for my first playthrough is that I really missed dwarven ladies, since there were none in DA2 (grrr).

Atrast vala, dwarf thread.
The only dwarf-only equipment I have come across are the Legion and Carta Assassin armor. Have any of you by chance come across the Carta Chief's armor as a player equipment item? I am into that fur mantle.

Morning my fellow Cadash/dwarven lovers!
Now, I'm not great at taking screens, but I think that Xavier looks particularly badass since he's about to become the Inquisitor after all.

I can't help but love that smile. I really think I got the eyes down

I have to agree about his eyes. I'm having some trouble in the CC with getting the color right, but manipulating the shapes is fun.
