Oh, I totally agree. I'm a DnD player so, dwarves with short beards is just wrong.I just want a beard that's braided into two parts. Something like Oghren and Brosca/Aeducan! (Brosca ftw!)

I actually like medium size beards. I can't get down with the long and crazy style beard. I enjoy the good old DnD games also. I'm currently playing Baldur's Gate right now, but I'm playing as a gnome and dwarf.

Which story…? Hmmm?
We're almost to page 200, dwarves! We may be the minority, but we continue to stay strong, loud, and honorable! ![]()

Xanthos' story. It's not really taking place randomly, as it's clear when it happens, but neither is it like "in the beginning". It was just something I was thinking of as I was working today and I figured I'd write it down. Doing so had me flesh out Xanthos even more from some base concepts I had for how he acted, and thus it explains a lot about him now.
So I hope anyway. It's a roughly done drabble (almost done) that I probably won't polish before posting here and on my tumblr.
And yay we're almost at 200! Seems like it was only a few weeks ago we hit 100. The rest of Thedas may ignore us, but we still cleave a path and leave our mark on history!

I'm here. Granted it's only my third or fourth time here but, I to have a strong desire to see DWARVES remain a playable race throughout the DA series. They are one of my favorite races in all the different fantasy settings. Then we need to bring them over here!

And why not? DA dwarves are interesting and awesome! In far too many fantasy worlds dwarves end up just being stereotypical caricatures with no depth imo.
Also on that note having finished my first playthrough as an elven mage I started my second playthrough as a dwarven rogue tonight.

The people in the Tevinter support thread are also fan of the dwarves, which makes sense.

Being a part of the Imperium myself. I can assure you we always welcome the Dwarves with open arms. They'll treat our people with respect. ![]()

But is it out of fear? Because of our magic resistance?
Jk. The dwarves really don't have a reason to be angry at the other races, unless it's on some kind of personal issue.

No, not out of fear, but not only that. They value our traits since we dwarves are skilled builders and craftsman, and we dwarves are also one of the best fighters in Thedas. They see our prowess, martial skill as well as our experience in combating darkspawn. Other than that...Dwarves master race!!! ![]()
Of course, I forgot to mention, we're also shrewd merchant, businessman and opportunist. We trade with anyone who can benefit us, but we'll choose our partner with caution. The relationship with the Imperium will benefit both parties greatly.

Thanks! My goal was to make her pretty, but flawed. That's why her nose is so interesting because I set it as a little too big and very crooked, but I think it works on her. I've gone back and forth on how I feel about her lips. I really think they would look a little better just a touch closer to her nose, but again, it adds a bit to her unique look.
Now that I'm back in dwarf mode, I'll definitely be posting up more pics as I progress through the game.

I think it works very well on her, including the fact it's broken. It gives her a lot of character, without keeping her from being very pretty. I haven't used that CC feature yet, but I should.

Berserk culture?
The idea of the war machine of the dwarves, they were not the first berserkers? they created an entire culture of anger ! Spread everywhere, even to the Avvar.
