Good thing Brosca and Hawke were bow users, so all my heroes didn't follow the old s/s ways.

The only one that I've seen is the one that you craft from the Legion schematic and I don't believe that one has the skull on it.

I'd love to use the schematics for some of the unique armours, but they tend to be so underpowered compared to the other stuff you can craft which have arms and greaves, I wish they'd patch it so you can put them on it, but it not change the look of the armour set?

I am so tickled with how lore friendly this is! The modder does have plans to do a version for the dwarven males, but that will be a bit since human males are next on the list. The dwarf males will have their own version of the Carta outfit. It will not be a carbon copy of what the females are wearing.

 

You got a link to the original creator's thread/nexus profile/tumblr/etc so when new ones release we can see them, too?

Do guns exist in Thedas yet? Thats a real dwarfy weapon. There's gunpowder and cannons already, arquebuses can't be too far behind.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that Bianca is supposed to be the first step in that evolution. Varric won't talk about how she was made because a repeating crossbow would deadly, and Solas agrees with him that if word got out about how to make them, it would have devastating consequences. So, I'm pretty sure the devs are alluding to guns.

Well the Qunari seem to be leading the way in that department, they've got cannons of some description. Although at least some dwarves are experimenting with explosives (the one dwarf from Awakening who makes bombs, forget his name). So dwarven hand-cannons might be a ways off yet, though the Qunari might do it before the age is done.

I'm on my very first playthrough (nearly 80 hours, and I've only just taken Adamant Keep), and I chose a beautiful dwarf knife rogue - auburn hair, china blue eyes and fine eyebrows.  Cadash happened to have disliked her work in the carta and prefers having a hand in making a decent future in Fereldan. It was by sheerest coincidence I named her Bianca.

About to fire up a female Cadash for a Seramance(who I used to despise, but now she's grown on me). I'm thinking of using the British accent instead of the American one because I think it fits her looks better, and I personally think Alix's voice is the best.

Hey dwarf thread! I haven't been around in awhile, gah. I kept meaning to come back when I could really come take the time to catch up because most threads I'm like "lol whatever skip 10 pages", but I like to savor every word here, and it just...hasn't..happened and I get further and further behind, lmao. so eff it. I'm here and I'll read back....soon....

 

also Gilsa poked me that I should share this fanart I commissioned from my extremely talented friend of my Cadash and Blackwall, so:

 

 

she has horrible fashion sense. he is horrified but also too happy to care that much. i screamed when i got it, it's so perfect for the character, hehe, and adorable. and the nug/deepstalker/deepmushroom print makes me so happy. 

 

other thing I thought I should share! I've been playing around with modding a lot, nothing too fancy so far because it's a bigger learning curve that I'd like (I'd like none), but I did this as a test to see how text worked and it made me laugh so:
