You guys did great! I can absolutely see a dark haired Ollie and a dwarven Jennifer Connelly there.
Just a note, I am replaying my old Baldur's Gate dwarf character, Valorim, in the Enhanced Edition and now I really miss the dual wielding warrior option in DA:I, as ridiculous as it may sound a badass dwarf warrior with an axe in one hand and a warhammer in the other one is a lot of fun

Unph. Good. God. Y'all.
Game's over people. The most awesome, badass, and do-able dwarf has been found. We can all go home.
Dwarf Quizzie Update Time!
So I'm still plugging away with Agathe and loving it. She's a badass character and I dig her.
SpoilerAnd I've been struggling with armor selection for her. She's a ranged rogue, so I want her in something appropriate. I kind of broke that with Graeme (my dual wield dwarf) by putting him in silverite Legion Armor. But I don't want all of my quizzies in similar armor. So since my qunari wore the traditional short-coat, chain supported jacket with the inquisition breastplate armor, I want Agathe in something different. So I settled on Hunter Mail, but it just didn't feel right, until I found this arm/leg combo (it's the one of the hunter arm and leg piece combos). Now, I think she looks amazing. It's light enough for her to move as an archer, but still sturdy enough to look like a proper dwarf gal.
Spoiler
Now, onto the real news. I'm going to hit a spot soon where I have to stop playing as Agathe because of the XBONE "Under Her Skin" quest bug, so I'm gearing up for my next character and I've been struggling with my last two characters. I already did a male qunari two-handed warrior (british voice, romanced Dorian), male dwarf dual wield rogue (american voice, romanced Bull), and now a female ranged rogue (american voice, romanced Blackwall). I wanted to do one character for each of the starting classes. So that leaves me with mage and sword/shield warrior still.
I created a female qunari mage and I was digging her for a while, but got a little bored with her in the Hinterlands. And I thought for a bit that I might try out an elf for once. I was going to make a male s&s Dalish hunter. But, try as I might, I just can't get them to look......burly and hairy enough for my liking. All of the male elves that I made felt like skinny little boys and I just wasn't feeling it.
So I scrapped both ideas and decided to go with another dwarf gal for my second lady character. I knew I wanted two female characters, so I could hear all four voice sets. So I needed to create a lady dwarf who would fit for the british voice and who was significantly different than Agathe, who's a tough gal. So I created.....Agnes Cadash! She's a very feminine, but capable Carta gal. I'm going to play her as a DA: O Leliana or DA: I Josephine type. Somewhat girly, but tough under that exterior. She's going to end up with Josephine, I think, because I'm really interested in seeing that dual as a lady dwarf. And I think I did a good job of making her look very different from Agathe.
Spoiler
Bonus points to the first person to identify the 80's hip hop song that I used to draw my lady Cadash names!
Your dwarf gals are beautiful
And I don't know the song sorry
I was born in 94 so.....just a tad late haha

By the Maker! All the dwarves i have made will follow you to battle! Plus your dwarf reminds me Ragnar from Vikings!
Great creation there
Nice! And welcome to the dwarves brotherhood and sisterhood. Varric and Blackwall banter together was quite entertaining, especially the one about Sebastian and the grand tourney.I'm new to this so I thought this would be the perfect time to show my cannon Inquisitor

*Snip nice pictures*
Welcome, and bloody hell that's a manly dwarf, if he's got chest hair Varric might have to give up his title of Paragon of Manliness ![]()
Thanks guys for all the support!!! I'll try to post more often on this thread now that that I finally created an account. Yes, that is a two handed battleaxe, The Hossberg Twainer, crafted from the bones' of slain dragons and equipped with a superb dragon slaying rune for added effect.

Welcome! And he is definitely a handsome addition to the dwarven IQs. What's his name?
I just left it to the default Edric as I couldn't think of a more "dwarfy" name
I like that name a lot, but the name Cespar is to dear to me
. Funny how it's really close to King Endrin Aeducan.
Say, do you think it makes sense to be a dwarven champion?
That spec seems to be a noble knight kind of thing, and the dwarven Inquisitor is a member of a criminal organisation.
A rogue would be obviously fitting, but that already is my Lavellan's role.
Depends on the dwarf and why you imagine your dwarf to have been part of the Carta. Based on the DAO Dwarf Commoner origin, you can get forced into it to pay off family debts. I'm seriously considering it for my Zhenya. There's nothing about the champion that is specifically "noble" in the rank meaning of the word-that's more Chevalier in Orlais. Champion is more the person able to rally people in a fight and overcome unusual odds.

I made Nasir a Champion and it made sense to me.
Originally, he was contemplating becoming a Templar to further enhance his resistance to magic, but Cullen's talks on it made him question whether it would be a good decision. He'd seen how Cullen was acting through withdrawal and he'd seen how some of the Templars acted because of their dependence on it (in fact, he bribed a few Templars with lyrium to get into the Conclave). Of course I still believe lyrium isn't necessary to perform Templar talents but it makes them stronger, like Origins originally had, in my headcanon universe but Nasir was going to go with full lyrium use to get the most of it.
He then looked to the Champion school of fighting, and thought that this was who he should be. He should be a symbol meant to rally the hearts and souls of every person fighting, someone who will take the full force of the enemy's attacks. He has seen death far too much, stretching back to before this whole entire Breach business, and he does not want to see it happen again.
If he can take the worst the enemy throws at him, and pass it off, and laugh in his face.... then he will give them nightmares for knowing they have attacked the wrong family -- indeed, he sees the Inquisition as his extended family, much like he did with the Carta.
To be a Champion means to put yourself in harm's way for others, to defend them to your dying breath so they will live on. Your origins matter little in this regard. Blackwall's a Champion, and we know about Blackwall.
I don't associate champion with nobility either. Entries #4 and #5 are most apt.

This is lovely, and makes me want to roll a champion dwarf! My only Champion was Big Tex, and that was mostly because I wanted the special dialogue between him and Gaspard, and also I liked the idea of him dueling people and being like "I'm the Champion, y'all"....so it was....more dirtbaggery than honorable and meaningful like this.
I almost wish I could reroll my Brosca recreation save for this....but....no face codes...cry...a rogue she shall always be, I suppose.
Anyone know a good build for an archer? I'm playing ahead but do I go for Tempest archer or Assassin?
