As I recall, he did get married at some point. I believe it's for a DC on return to Orzammar, and I think Danaduchy showed it in her DC returns to Orzammar video (what would we do without Danaduchy?)

EDIT: Yup, just checked it. Rica says, if you ask her if she'll be queen, "Of course not, his wife will be queen". While Bhelen says his son by Rica will "have the same rights as any son of my wife's body". Both lines indicate that he's already married at this point.

Honestly I just never thought he valued her as anything more then something he could use. He doesn't even value her enough to tell her the truth about things (though politically I can understand why. Telling her "I got my two brothers removed from political consideration by my machinations" might just make her think he's a bastard -- which he is :P ). She's operating under a belief that Harrowmont and the DN conspired together to get rid of Trian and Bhelen, because Bhelen told her that.

*snip*

Those lines are kind of vague. He's supposed to be pretty young, and I took them as them referring to his future wife.

And like I said, I can easily see your point of view on his actual motives, etc. I'm not sure he actually has to worry about being nice to Rica to get her cooperation; her only option to staying with him is to go back to Dusttown, and I'm sure some of the Carta would go after her if she did. I think it's vague enough they could play it out either way, so I headcannon that he cared for Rica because my DC wants her sister to be happy. I also like to think he actually married her once the Warden was made a paragon, raising her to noble caste too, but they could be using concubine and wife interchangeably out of carelessness.

Cleaning out my screenshots. One of my favorite conversation wheel summaries is "But you're not actually 'poor' ..." from Josephine's personal quest. It cracks me up on a Cadash because there's such a class divide right there. I imagine a human noble might be more sympathetic. Anyway, just saying that line makes me chuckle when I see it.

Surly the Carta isn't so far down that line. They pretty much have everyone in their pocket, since I would think that Lyrium is in high demand of the Chantry and Templars, mages, and even ex-templars. That dwarf in Haven seems to be well-spoken when it came to discussing the issues of Thedas. If I was part of the Carta, I would want to be informed of everything that's going on, know what I'm dealing with, and how it would affected future business.

So Cadash could quite well be richer than Josephine, and knows that she really isn't in a economic crisis.

I'd say only the leaders of the carta are likely to be prosperous, and that's probably volatile with the infighting. The average Carta member, especially those forced into it and are low level members, probably get little more than room and board and equipment. So it's all in how you choose to cast your Carta dwarves. Were they forced into it and have nowhere to go? Born into it and powerful? On the way up? On the way down? Virtually a slave?

It's a nice breadth of background possibilities. ;)

Happy to see the Keep updated. Well except for the hidden tile bugs  <_<

But I gotta say I'm not impressed with the male dwarf image. That hair and mustache. No thank you.

Yeah my first Cadash was a mob princess, spoiled from birth, and my second was a grunt barely scraping by. It does allow for a nice range of possibilities there.

I want the option to pick Varric up and throw him into a horde of enemies in which he begins to kill them all.

Ha! When we find the broken bridge in Exhaulted Plains, Varric happened to be in the party. We were standing there and he suddenly said, "A firm and pre-emptive 'NO' to anyone even *thinking* about throwing me across."

Edric (original, right?) Cadash has definitely embraced the Carta. He has no problem getting his hands dirty in order to get results.  He is a thug, who has done bad things in the name of the Carta, but doesn't regret it b/c the Carta takes care of him.

However, (Brace yourselves for further Headcanon)

His loyalty to the Carta is slowly slipping.

I have him converting to the Chant by templar friends who were contacts for the Carta lyrium smuggling. One of them perished at the conclave, the other was corrupted by red lyrium at Therinfal Redoubt.

His faith is slowly making him open his eyes to what the Carta really is. Something the Carta notices too, and I totally RP that the Carta was going to have him killed on his way back from the Conclave.

Then the Breach happens and that changes everything for him. Realizing he needs to start standing for something bigger and better then crime and murder, he embraces the Herald of Andraste. Believing the Maker is rewarding him for his steadfast faith by giving him this opportunity.

And I'll stop there, sorry for the headcanon rant. I can get carried away talking about my Bioware protagonists.

You don't have the proper hair options to do it, and I doubt the facial hair would be the right thickness (you'd either have strange stubble or a thick bushiness going on), but I think facial structure wise you could do it.

Hello everyone!

I hope we can find out more about the shapers and their abilities with lyrium. For those of you who sided with the Templars and have done Calpernias quests you will know what in talking about ;)

I hope in the next game that the dwarf companion that joins us is a female warrior. We only had one male warriors, and two rogues. The balance to that would be a serious badass traditional dwarf female warrior.

I ended up making Zhenya a devout Andrastrian from the beginning; it worked for Zevran, and she's pragmatic too. And it makes the relationship with Cass more fun.

Yes!! I love my female dwarf warriors (as if that wasn't obvious by now  ). The female dwarf NPCs who've made substantial appearances appear to all be rogues - Harding, Bianca, and Dagna (I assume, as an artificer, at least, though she's obviously a unique case).

Dwarf rogue is 100% my jam, but I agree. I often forget Sigrun isn't a warrior and tbqh, if she was any other race I suspect she would be. More dorf lady warriors please, especially S&S, especially romanceable bisexual.

Here, here! I didn't mention Sigrun since I was mostly thinking of DAI, but yes, another dwarven female rogue.

Though I admit, Harding as a bi romance wouldn't break my heart either. ;)

So i got the Dasher War Table operation, but I'm not sure what adviser to choose.

Any suggestions from those who remember this operation and outcome would be appreciative.

Thanks in advance

Leliana is best when it comes to the Carta things, because the carta is all about the under the table business.

Yeah, I'm kinda bummed by no hint/mention of Sigrun since Awakening. She was great and it's kinda disappointing that her character has been pretty much forgotten by Bioware.
