I will live in constant sadness that I can't have Merrill or Marethari's accent.

The Dragon Age's true hero will be from Starkhaven. Because Maker's breath that accent.

Fair enough! And yeah, likely the same with my Dwarf Goldrin. I'll likely go with the American accent... Whichever is the deeper voice.

Curry's American accent was definitely deeper and gruffer than Hadden-Paton's English one. Same goes for the ladies.

Hello Curry. We'll be together for 80+ hours, we'll be good friends.

When I get around to running a male PC, I'll probably start with Curry's for exactly that reason, but for Zhenya I want a voice that's confident and expressive, more than a little brash. The problem is I haven't heard enough of how Sumalee voices the Inquisitor to make a judgement call yet. I have a human mage, Ryumka, who'll I'll probably start immediately after Zhenya and run simultaneously who is one of the few I've ever worked out for a DA game who is reserved and has developed a knack for going unnoticed, and she'll probably get the other voice. And because I'm insane about simultaneous PTs, once I get either Zhenya or Ryumka close to the mid-point of the game, I'll probably start my elven rogue and qunari warrior (classes still subject to change) and split voices between them again.

They sleep but they just don't dream.  They can't really enter the Fade.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about never dreaming... Hmm. It'd probably be a good thing. I hate when a good dream feels real and then you wake up confused.

More questions for our dwarf inquisitor in Inquisition. No one really questioned  the dwarf warden for entering the fade, so I hope this time around people are weirded out about it. Cheers to being a false dwarf in outsiders eyes!

Yes, I always imagined my dwarves being a bit weirded out when they ended up in the Fade, but there was a certain amount of "Oh, fun, so this is what magic is."

I loved ogherns reaction to being in the fade, first in the circle tower and then in awakening!

For not being able to enter the Fade, dwarves seem to go there quite a lot.    I hope that it is pointed out in DA:I, because it really doesn't make much sense.

...Unless it's that the Inquisitor entered the Fade in a physical manner instead of in "spirit."

With wiggle-room for whatever's introduced about the backstory...

"Brand" Cadash (she has a name, she's just not using it). She's in her forties. My plan is to pretty much roll her as John Wayne in 'True Grit'... As a dwarf lady. I plan on having her be pretty gruff, obviously. And protective of Cole, assuming Cole doesn't come across as horrible. She'll be bemused by all this fancy junk happening around her, distrustful of the mages and the Fade and the ruffled dresses. But she'll do her best with it. Sword and shield tank.

Between her and Varric, my dwarven Inquisitors are gonna be going crazy over the two dashing dwarven archers he/she can't have.  :P

Considering the fact that I want to play a mage in my first playthrough, sadly I cannot be a dwarf. But if I were to be a dwarf in my next playthrough, she will probably be a rogue and romancing Iron Bull. The height difference is hilarious.
