If Harding gets a lot of love, I wonder if there is a chance she could be a companion in the next Dragon Age. I need to wait and see how she progress in the game first!

I thought they said only one body type for each race.  I could be wrong, though.  But I don't think there's anything in CC to adjust build.

I'm afraid so too. Probably based on the perception previously that dwarves were unpopular, sigh.   I liked playing female characters who had some muscle on them.

Me too. Now dwarves look like... shorter than average humans. I miss dem broad shoulders... and generous hips... alas.

But anyway, It's awesome to see a beautiful female dwarf. We haven't see one since...well....um...

What I really want in the next game is to be able to romance a dwarf. At this point in the franchise, humans, elves, and now Qunari can romance someone of their own race, but in three games a dwarf has not been able to romance a dwarf. BioWare has given us so many amazing dwarven companions (Sigrun and Varric mostly) that weren't romanceable, and the first time Qunari are made a character we get to romance one. We get five human romances, two elven romances, one Qunari romance and....no dwarven romances....like not one...I would really like it if they would tone it down on the humans next time. Dwarves really do not get enough love from the fandom and the devs and that should change.

Exactly. Not that there's anything wrong with thin (though I find overly thin female warriors particularly unrealistic), but a little variety is nice, and dwarves gave us that.

Yea thats the one thing that angers me, The fact that the Female dwarves have been slimmed down! I mean really, does every girl in thedas have to have a skinny hour glass figure. That's what the elves, humans and now the qunari have (body wise).  The female dwarves were the ones with some meat on there bones, now they have been reduced to looking like short humans with bobble heads. I mean yea they still look good and a female dwarf will still be my first play through but that's beside the point. 

 

I want my chubby dwarf back!

this is my thoughts as well, harding in the gamecon vid had blond hair, this one did not, or i think she had blond hair, but she does have that wide Dwarven nose though.

I guess the nose does help... she still looks way too human to me, as does Varric. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the other dwarven NPCs and Inquisitors look like.

All my Dwarfs end up with Humans as well gomez but in truth it happens because we havent had the opprotunity to romance any dwarfs.

 

Harding looks great and I hope she ends up being the Kelly Chambers esq Romance of DAI because my Cadash is gonna follow both her and Dagna around like a lost puppy.

Well to be fair, the only way that a dwarf could end up with someone who wasn't a human was if they romanced Zevran.  BG dwarves got no love, DA: O dwarves had all humans except for Zev, DA: A had no romances, and Hawke had to be human.  Not alot of wiggle room there.

 

For me, my male dwarves have all ended up with Zev and my lady dwarves have mostly ended up with Leliana (save 1 for Alistair for achievement purposes). 

 

In DA: I, there is absolutely zero percent chance that my first dwarf Inquisitor will not end up with Iron Bull.  Just too awesome in my opinion.

^With the inclusion of Iron Bull and people loving dat height difference , hopefully dwarves will get more love as PCs this time around. I know I have a dwarf planned for Dorian, Josie, Blackwall... probably everybody but Solas and Cullen, haha.

Oh, and is it just me or does Varric look barrel (and bare ) chested and broad again in the new trailer? Me likey.

My first dwarf in DAO went through Gorim, Alistair, and Zevran, one of each race . But yes, if you wanted someone besides a human in DAO, Zevran was it for a regular LI.

Anyone else bummed that we're not going back to Orzammar? It's the part of the setting we had the most power to change in Origins, and I'd love to see the impact of those decisions a decade later. Bhelen's surface-friendly dictatorship that's using surface troops and a small number of golems is very different from a city in which a rebellion killed Harrowmont. Fascinating stuff.
