I have been firing up Origins again and I have to say, bless that female dwarf proportion fix mod.
I can't believe it took me all these years to install it. The ape arms were very strange.
I like the proportion of male dwarves in Inquisition. Female are still a little bit tiny for my taste though.
The same modder has improved romance scenes if your female dwarf will be pursuing Alistair. It's not raunchy or anything. It's just better angles. (Like instead of the dwarf mysteriously growing taller, Alistair will get down to his knees to woo her. Know what I mean?) I honestly don't remember if there's anything for Zevran, but they're so much closer in height that there wasn't a need for that. It's been a long time since I've played so I have no idea what else has come out since then.
I really would like to replay Origins just for better screenshots, but as far as I know, there's no flycam or anything. There's a lot of beautiful architecture in Orzammar that I'd love to capture the lava flowing or get a better look at the paragon statues, but the camera is tethered to the main character.

I love playing around with languages, I'm probably completely off-base, but it was fun to try and work it out based on the miniscule amount of dwarven we have... seriously, we have almost more phrases in Tevene, Elven and Qunlat than we do from the Dwarves, this needs to be rectified?

I mostly downloaded it because of that weird little bug that sometimes made the arms float, because they never really bothered to scale some of the armours for Dwarves properly? Now that bothered me, because sometimes the floating arms persisted even after you took the armour off?
I didn't notice either until other posters pointed out that the ape arms were turning them off. I couldn't unsee them after that, but it didn't hamper my enjoyment of the race. Aimo poked fun at this back in the day:

There is actually a good chance she will go with Alistair if I make her romance someone.
Only because, Leliana goes with my FemCousland, Zevran goes with my FemTabris and Morri with my MaleAmell. I did some of Alistair romance for fun before but I have yet to find a canon fit for him in my worldstates.
I actually never looked up how the romance scenes worked with dwarves in Origins. Doesn't surprise me there is a mod for them though.
As for a flycam tool, I don't know, maybe something is possible with the console commands? But yeah Orzammar scenery is very nice indeed.

At the begining me neither, it's just when I played the Brosca origin for the first time that I really noticed, especially with Rica.
Yes, tell me about it :/ you can actually see the difference with the original arms when you unequip sometimes, it does look very strange:

This mod has also the added benefit of removing the navel exposed armor that Dalish females wear. All good in my books. So yeah kudos tmp7704.

So yeah, they are not packaged together. I mainly use them for the light armors, because that exposed cleavage bother me in terms of practicality.
Might as well add the dwarf one since it's the Dwarf support thread, even if I assume many dwarves players already know it exists.

That armor was one of the reasons I didn't like the Dalish origin as well as some of the others. Mostly DA games are pretty good about not giving females more revealing armor "just because."

Maybe if we're lucky, we'll get a DLC that takes us to Orzammar. It's really close to Skyhold.

I wish we could see a dwarven city as well, I was kinda disappointed that Valammar ended up being so small, I wish we'd been able to go down to those lower levels that we see beneath the part we are able to get to and perhaps reach the bottom of the chasm?

Korbin's really cool, he's probably my favourite class to play on the multiplayer going into the Champion side, since he becomes a really strong tank.
He's got a great sense of humour and some of his comments imply that he's not entirely keen on returning to the Legion after the situation with Corypheus has passed? My guess is that he might not want to return because not only is the surface is a lot nicer, but based on what he's seen, these humans really need a dwarf to handle this stuff for them, because they obviously can't?
Seriously, he has quite a few lines lampshading (and quietly lamenting) how utterly rag-tag the Inquisition is and how untrained his comrades are. Reminds me more than a little of Blackwall, who says pretty much the same thing about our forces shortly after he joins up?
This means we get so many different types of dwarves from different backgrounds, as well as all the other races and representatives of various nations and organizations and all that jazz.
I feel bad for Luka though, she has probably one of the harshest backstories of all the MP agents?
She was a low-rung member of the Carta clan that targeted Hawke in Legacy, who was sent to clear out some of the mining tunnels and got accidentally trapped in Corypheus' prison, forcing her to spend years digging her own way out, with nothing to eat but deep mushrooms?
I feel like Varric should cover her tab, it really wasn't her fault that her bosses became ghouls, went nuts and attacked Hawke after all? Varric and Hawke were kinda responsible for triggering the prison's defences that sealed everyone in as well?
I've played a little MP, mostly as Corbin. I like him, though the banter got a bit boring in the same group when we played.

Tried it out for fun on my dwarf. I dig it. I didn't notice the ear clipping until I had already left the Black Emporium, but this was just a test screenshot, no biggie. =p
What does it say about Sigrun or Velanna or Nathaniel, if anything? I've seen a few things on tumblr, like Velanna's childhood or Nathaniel's work with a bow, but that's about it.
