1) The Emissary might be The Architect or another one of the original Tevinter magisters who entered the Fade physically.
I don't think it's The Architect or a magister because the design is too basic

Sigrun wouldn't be caught with a shield. I think maybe they could be in the same squad with Sigrun. I don't think she lost all of her fellow Legions.
Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw 56m56 minutes agoPeople have been asking about the price point for The Descent. It's $14.99.

Ah! I found out this DLC was coming out at work today. I squealed when I saw it on my Facebook feed! Everyone gave me these odd looks but I did not care ib the least! I even did a jig.

ANYWHO!!! The first team to go on this will be Blackwall (LI), Varric and Dorian. Blackwall because, well, he DID pretend to be a Warden so he may want to go just to see first hand what the Deep Roads are like. Varric because well it is kind of obvious.
And Dorian because he may have some insight being from Tevinter where (supposedly) darkspawn were first made.
I am SO glad I have Tuesday of of work and my summer classes are over!
...Is it Tuesday yet? I am so pumped for this.
What if the earthquakes are just two hundred nugs humping like there's no tomorrow?
It is the equivalent of a Dwarven butterfly effect.
Can't wait to play Descent. The general lack of dwarfiness was my biggest gripe with Inquisition.

That's my Cadash's regular crew, so I'll be taking them as well. I expect bitter complaining from both Dorian and Varric
.
So excited! Finally, MOAR DWARF!
Could they really be Kal-Sharok's dwarves? They seem... very violent. These "Kal-Sharok's dwarves" was going up against the Inquisitor and his team, so they aren't the same ones that helped us out from the War Table mission.

Ah! But when she first appeared, a Rogue could use a shield, esp one with heraldry. But as I still do currently, prefer to respec her with a bow.
She wouldn't be able to in inquisition. ![]()
So... I'm in a bad mood. A very bad mood. I have the last gen version, I love the deep roads, and I love dwarven content. CAN YOU FIGURE OUT WHY MY MOOD IS BAD?!
Time to upgrade, but only if you really want to play the DLC.

Priorities. I barely have enough money to live on, and a Wii U is more important than a PS4. I need one for Xenoblade X, which is more important than any amount of DLC for DAI. After that, then I will saving money for a PS4. And it's going to take nearly all the time left until December (when Xenoblade X comes out) to even get a Wii U. So I'll be able to play the deep roads dlc by... Mid-2016, if I'm lucky?

Given that Nintendo will be talking about the NX as early as 2016, I wouldn't be in a rush to purchase a Wii U Andy.

I thought that was Genlocks? too pretty armor though.
We see some genlocks elsewhere in the trailer, and they have the more ape-like appearance from DA2. I'm not convinced those are Kal-Sharok dwarves, but I don't think they're genlocks. Someone else suggested Legion of the Dead ghouls.
The only thing that could have made that trailer even more perfect would have been if they'd used a Cadash Inquisitor.
Sure, I know it's not consistent with the other trailers which have all been human, but they were all male and voiced by HHP, whereas this one was a human female voiced by AWR, so it's not like we can really play the consistent trailer card here either, eh?
I mean, I know that there's the common belief that "viewers are morons", but throw a dwarf in that distinctive Inquisitor helmet and wouldn't it be kinda obvious who that particular character was supposed to be?
Now, I just need to get my Cadash playthroughs dusted off and level/geared up, I think I left both of them around the point where I got to Skyhold.

I made my Cadash some new Legion of the Dead armour so she has something stylish to wear to the Deep Roads. Only I'm terrible at taking screen shots. Just look:

That's the best I managed to get, and I cut off her feet! Meanwhile, Dorian refused to get in formation and steals the shot.

The armour does look far more intricate and dwarven than any previous darkspawn armours we've seen, which lore says are scavenged and patched-together by the ghouls in the horde, although they do have a similar aesthetic love of spikes for the intimidation factor.
The hands also seem far more "human" (or I guess I should say "dwarven") and less corrupted than most darkspawn we've seen, who have hands that are often clawed and elongated slightly. The glowing eyes also match how WoT described the denizens of Kal-Sharok as having an intense, otherworldly look that is weirdly remiscent of both darkspawn and Wardens.
Personally, I'm hoping these are Kal-Sharok Dwarves and not just redesigned Genlocks, they look badass.
HELL YEAH! Haven't had time to watch the new trailer yet, but I immediately thought of my fellow dwarf-supporters! Our time has finally come!!!!!
I've got two dwarves lined up and ready to go! Graeme and Agathe are coming out of retirement (still haven't done Hakkon with either)!
I will not lie, reading all the complainings of people about The Descent on social networks gives me no little amount of schadenfreude: "Who wanted to return to the Deep Roads?!" "That's not the DLC I was asking for!" "Are they even listening to their fans anymore?!" "Who cares about dwarves?!"
While we here are celebrating and being excited about it. ![]()
