I'm having sudden anxiety about the CC and female dwarves. Those women are all adorable, but SO young. The redhead looks about 16 to me. I hope I can create a female dwarf who looks over 20 (only one of those does, and not by much). I'm just telling myself that Harding looks at least mid-20s, so surely the CC isn't too geared toward teenagers...

Umm, male dwarves, no problem. But I have no intention of giving my female dwarf facial hair, however.

That's what I'm hoping. I just was taken aback when I saw just how young those looked since our Inquisitor is supposed to be between 20 and 40. That combined with female dwarves who are now so thin they're short humans (unless you give them beards, sigh)... I love playing dwarven women, but I want one who can be distinguished from a human without needing a comparison. Between this and the female elf's noodle arms, I'm struggling a little to believe it's going to be worth playing a female inquisitor in DAI; even the female qunari appear to have thinned out inexplicably. Part of me (and only when I'm feeling a little cranky like right now) wants to make all my inquisitors as ugly as "Beauty" just to thumb my nose at the refusal to give us female characters that aren't designed for the male gaze. I won't, because I really don't want to look at "Beauty" through 100+ hours of gaming.

Every dwarf I play is of the classic dwarf archetype. Like the following... except for the gold-loving part. My dwarves would never accept a bribe that would get them out of a good brawl.

I think it's hilarious when bandits attack my dwarf and then they try to surrender. "Are ye daft, lad? You wanted a fight, and now ya got one!" *lifts battleaxe and continues chopping bandits*

Oh, btw, dwarven women don't have facial hair... at least not in my mind.

I wonder if I can manipulate my monitor's settings to make all the characters look heavier? Hmm, then I'd have to undo whatever I did every time I left the game. Even if it worked, with my luck, I'd s***w it up.

I spend ours in CC and I already know that with the new features in this game....I'll be clocking in the hours just for CC haha

I wouldn't personally use them---at least not at first---I'm a rogue dual wield fan, but that would be cool to have spears! Maybe confusing on how it would work---you'd want a throwing mechanism, would you then have to retrieve it or be weapon less? What if you threw if off one of those cliffs on accident? XD

There should be spears in rpg's, period. There should be more weapon variety overall.

Yea like fighting with grenades. Well that could be dangerous, throwing it near your close-combat fighters would be problematic!

Same here. Just know I will be making a female dwarf, have no clue how she will look. So probably going to spend a while in the character creator.

Yeah it is horrible.  Sad to that ash is the one who wrote it.  She knows her stuff.  But those narrators kill all credibility the video might have had...
