It figures. He would never honor an Aeducan or a casteless dwarf.

Where is it located?

I'm not sure they really say with a Harrowmont king, but Bhelen puts it out in front of the palace or the Assembly, someplace really visible. In either case, after all, he's celebrating a relative, either a brother or sister by blood or by marriage (apparently once you become a paragon as a Brosca, he actually marries Rica who would then have been raised to noble caste with you.)

I'm finishing my first run in DAO and that's pretty much what I did.

I missed a few quests, so I cheated by lying about it in the DA Keep. But I have every intention of making it true by replaying this character after a long break.

I think everyone misses a few the first time through. Did you play a Brosca or an Aeducan? It's worth playing both because you get very different perspectives on Orzammar each time. Even talking to the bar tender gets different reactions.

Brosca all the way. Makes for a good redemption/ from zero to hero story.

I did take a short look at dwarf noble and a few other origins though. It certainly feels more regal than human noble, like you're part of a great and glorious empire (even if that's not quite the truth).

Since they obviously had to break with lore and not use first names for Brosca and Aeducan when they became Paragons, anyone else think Bioware should add some kind of epithet, since it's gonna be confusing for everyone in Orzammar (or at least those in the Shaperate) when trying to work out which Paragon Aeducan people are meant to be talking about?

Although if the confusion eventually leads to an legend, where the first Paragon Aeducan returned from the Stone and reincarnated himself as a hot chick with a greatsword to defend Orzammar again from the Darkspawn... I'm totally cool with that.

With the upcoming new DLC I hope we get some cameos of Orzammar favorites. It's a pity the actor of Pyral passed away, but I hope Bioware is smart enough to give him a nod.

Honestly, they need to deliver some updates to what's been happening with the Dwarven kingdom.

They did deliver what has been happening in the Dwarven's kingdom. We heard most of the decisions at the Winter Palace.

Trying to create a new Cadash ready for the DLC made me suddenly realise how much I hate the character creator at times, especially when it comes to creating a decent looking male dwarf that I'm happy with as a perfectionist!

Actually, the only male Cadash I've ever been happy with ended up looking like a Dwarf!Hawke, which while good, is extremely distracting!

I've always had a pretty good time creating dwarves in this CC.  I'm super happy with all three of my dwarves.

I think your newest dwarf looks the best. But all of them look great.

I think it's partially because Male Dwarves in this game are far more stockier and their facial features are lot more angular or rounder than their female counterparts. I never have this trouble when it comes to creating great looking female dwarves, it's a complete doddle.

Most of the time I scrap my male dwarves because I keep thinking they're about to steal Olive Oyl away from Pop-Eye.

I think Fjal' and Thogrim are looking very good. I actually had an easier time making good-looking dwarves than doing a good-looking human or a good-looking elf.

Well, I'm kinda bad when it comes to using the CC anyway, only just managed to figure out how to create a good female elf in Origins after 5 years. I take my cap off to the dwarves in this thread and the people who figured out how to create Emilia Clarke or Natalie Dormer within minutes of the game coming out, I have no clue how you all managed that.

It's all about choosing the right preset to start from.

You might dismiss a great one that looks ugly but just so happens to have the key facial features you need.

Funny you say that because there's now a mod for the male dwarf to use Hawke's in-game hair: http://fmfmods.tumbl...-hawke-hair-for

I miss the ability to give a female dwarf a round face, actually. I loved both of my wardens (and realized later that one of my Couslands had a rather dwarfish round face.)

I hated most of what I got out of the CC until I spent about a week starting over repeatedly, trying to get a dwarven woman who didn't look 16  to my eyes (though I'm probably seeing them as younger than they really looked, blame my age. :P ) I still can't get exactly the looks I want most of the time, but once I cracked aging a woman to 50ish convincingly, I started getting results I liked a lot more often. Though if I could create a convincing Morticia Adams in the CC, I might finally play a human (necromancer mage, of course ;) )

Yeah, I've tended to use preset 5, what about everyone else?

Im rarely happy with the faces I make, I think its because they become too "perfect". I mean without any major imperfections, straight nose etc. But when I try to make them less perfect it just gets fugly.

I'd be totally okay with my Aeducan being considered Paragon Aeducan reborn, since that's been my headcanon for years now.

I hate how the character tends to bob their head around. I mean yeah, it makes them look like a person rather then a sculpture, but it actually is annoying when you're trying to adjust things properly and then your character decides he should look over his shoulder because he heard something.

It's actually pretty funny how much of a complete failure Harrowmont winds up being. It's like they should give everyone who chose Harrowmont a "you chose wrong" button

True, though remember what we hear at Halam'shiral is gossip. Bhelen's sympathetic to the casteless, including surfacers, while Harrowmont is rigidly traditional, so that's going to color what they said (presumably most of them are surfacers.) Not that I didn't prefer Bhelen over Harrowmont myself, just pointing out that the little dwarven content we got may have been intentionally misleading.

Not everyone will see Harrowmont as a failure. He did save Warden Aeducan, and was betrayed by own brother. Who would you side with in that choice if you were Aeducan?  <_<

I wanted something more specific. What's been happening with Ortan thaig since Orta was recognised as a noble? How is Kal Hirol doing after we helped clear it of darkspawn?

Regardless of who we chose as king, I've been hoping there was something like of a thaig reclamation campaign since Awakening.
