But there was a lot of content to those who didn't just follow the main quest and been done with it. I mean all these reference to the Razikel and the Mystery of Winter shard door. I was thoroughly surprised and happy.
Anyway back to Descent..... My hopes are really high fo this DLC.

I've heard something on a review video (don't know how accurate it is) that although the instance levels to some extent, you have to be at a higher level to tackle the bottom portions of the Deep Roads. So, I'll probably end up taking my Dalish mage first who is level 20 I think.
My highest level dwarf is 16 I think.

My highest dwarf is level 24. I just bought JoH a couple days ago as well, but was saving that for a new playthrough. I don't even have a non-dwarf character still. (I planned on making a mage to check out the Cullen romance, but it's still not a big enough carrot because I don't feel done with the dwarf stuff. I still want to check out the dialogue, make some fun gifs, try to get a commission or two done, find the time to make another dwarf mod, etc.) Even if I did have a non-dwarf character, I wouldn't risk missing out on Cadash-specific stuff. Remember what a big deal it was when we first got a letter from our Aeducan/Brosca? I don't want that kind of surprise spoiled for me. What if we get asked if we're from the same house as Shale? Probably not likely, but if there's a .0001% chance ... =p

You talked about stealthing past the mobs to solve the puzzle. If you're leaving your companions behind, then you're missing out on the tomb commentaries provided by IB, Blackwall, or Varric since the stories are connected from tomb to tomb.
I live for those commentaries. We're adventuring through dwarven ruins on the surface. That deserves some character involvement.

I kind of approach it from the other direction and assume I will make huge "oopsies" in my first PT or two, so i ran a pair of Dalish first for the Solas and Cullen romances and saved my later runs without all the problems for dwarves so I can thoroughly enjoy them. I don't want to rush Reska or Zhenya so it if turns out level 16 isn't really high enough to complete it, I'll hold off and get the good dialogue later.

I didn't say I left anyone behind. I stealthed through, but my party came with me. They ran through without engaging and did in fact get hurt, but it didn't matter because they warped right to my side once I was in the ruin and got back up with nearly no health. So no, this wasn't a solo thing. And even if, Varric's the one who has the most interesting things to say... And he has stealth too, so he's a definite companion regardless since he can get past without notice too.

So where will your Inquisitors be when they begin the Descent?
I'm aiming Orion Cadash to be around level 14 or 15.
I'll have Wicked Hearts completed. Not sure if I'll also have Here Lies the Abyss completely done though.
His romance with Cassandra also needs to be started between now and then.
And his party will be Cassandra, Dorian, Iron Bull/Blackwall.
well I know this is non dwarf related but...
Chasimess Winters (female human DWK rouge) is at 25ish until I beat the JOH DLC then it would be higher. NIGHTMARE
Malaioniss Whyvenlight (male elf bow rouge) is at level 27. So far skipping the temple battle in the JOH fight because of the bug unless it's fixed. NIGHTMARE.
Vyre Dite (female human mage) is at 26ish? I beat the game and JOH DLC but is at NORMAL and not at NIGHTMARE like the previous two mentioned.
Draven Vollsa (Male Human 2H warrior) is at 25. I started the JOH but stopped playing it. i did finish the story mode though. NORMAL.
Ullia Mint Tooth (Female qunari mage) is at 15. I have been playing her mostly.NIGHTMARE.
Lyliia On (female elf bow rouge) is at 12. NORMAL I think.
Vlah'Nu (female elf mage) is at 6ish? Just got Vivianne and Sera. HARD.
Meltelwin (male human SW/SH warrior) is at 4ish? still early on. NORMAL?
Rubblocke M. (Male dwarf 2H Warrior) is at 5-6ish. as the pick shows I just got Vivianne and Sera as well. HARD?
Amolla Vollsa (female human SW/SH warrior) was 20ish. Finsished the game before I deleted her. EASY.

I will play with my Mookait Cadash who just allied with the mages. Don't know at what lvl i will go there but probably will go with Solas, Varric and Iron Bull or Blackwall. A bit sad to leave Cole at home but I really want Varric with me. Playing as a rouge myself so it would be a bad choice to take Solas, Cole and Varric. ![]()

Nope.
I've heard Xbox One might get access a few hours earlier, but that's it.
They've said it releases on all* platforms, Tuesday the 11th.

Even as someone who has moved on to this current generation of consoles, I'm totally on the side of last gen console owners when it comes to the subject of DA:I DLC.

Same here.
If you're going to sell them a game, maybe let them know you're not going to support it all the way. *sigh*
I've been leveling my first Cadash up. Just starting down the path of getting the Champion specialization. I hope to get him near endgame by the weekend or so for The Descent. ![]()

The Cadash family has been on the surface for quite some time now. I'm just upset that Cadash and Shale didn't get a chance to interactive with each other. There is some great banter that could happen between the two of them.
