I am literally starting from page one on the BSN and trying to collect as I go along. 
 
I think it's kind of funny. I like Dwarves well enough, but I randomly became dedicated to the idea that "Dwarves will not be left behind!"

Do you need help with this? I started with this yesterday after ArcaneEsper's suggestion, but I think I got just about as far as you did, and it'll be pretty time wasting if we both end up copying the same stuff.

I plan to grab the lore conversations, dwarf art links, inquisitor pictures and mod links.

(But it's so tempting to just copy it all down. But it will take forever.)

DAF doesn't do pasting with original formatting. So then you or I would have to do our own formatting and quote boxes. Which I have done for extensive deep discussion, but not so much the "the next Quiz I'm making is a super carta princess!"

I'm kind of waiting to see what the choices are. I'd like to only have to check a single forum every day, so if dwarfdom and the Cullen thread go to different places, I may be a bit torn.

 

Edited: BTW, if anyone is following me on Tumblr and I haven't followed you back, IM me with your BSN screen name so I know who you are. I'm cautious about following blogs if it isn't immediately obvious it's mostly gaming, and I suspect sometimes I just look on the wrong day and don't see much stuff I follow.

I have no objections as long as names, SSs, and posts don't get detached from each other. Probably safest to bring the entire thread of a lore discussion, etc., otherwise parts may not make sense.

Well, RDF has both a Cullen thread and a Dwarf thread right now. I haven't seen either on BSN yet, but I'm hoping they will be there, since the Twitter threads are there as well. The only downside is I don't feel like copying everything again.

I found it soothing to immediately find a place to go; DAF was strongly dragon age, had nice art, and had no bad rumors about it's creator. that first 36 hours of listed options were Cass Saturn, Top Shelf, Vroom Vroom, and DAF with conversations about making Fextra.

 

So, I immediately set up shop and made sure there was a dwarf and Cullen thread. So, I'm to blame for their being one there. 

 

So far what I'm staying for?

 

1. How hard Autumn Witch is making us to feel welcome. I don't have a "New Member: title. She is literally going one by one for each person and letting them be Elves, Humans, Dwarves- I got to be Grey Warden. So, the little touches like that that are just awesome and make you feel hugged.
2. the allowance of Eros/smut. Cyonan's BSN and Fextra clearly have rules against "pornographic material." Now, maybe they don't include sexual writing or pictures of a sexual nature that intentionally lack nipples and genitals but they've never bothered to clarify. 3. The Blanketfort moved there. Considering the serious fandom of Solas, I found this significant.

I signed up, but like most everyone else I'm not going to make any firm decisions for a few weeks, and even then I'll probably continue to visit multiple forums if I like the atmosphere.

Right now I'm EXTREMELY hopeful for Fextralife since the owner is going out of her(?) way to salvage as much of the BSN as possible. She's basically trying to import the entire site to her own (scraping the site to keep threads, post history, etc.), which isn't a proboards forum or anything like that - it's independent. It's still in the process of coming together and we don't know that every little thing will import, but I've got my fingers crossed.

I'm also having a great time at Real Dragon Age Fans, because it's cozy and very, very friendly. There are a lot of familiar faces, it's very DA-centric (and it has an ME and off-topic section). It's important that any place I go isn't primarily an off-topic forum. I love chitchat, but I need my Dragon Age fix.

I'm also at the Romance Defense Force which is also the name of our little group here on the BSN. It's not a "new BSN" like the others, exactly... it's just our happy little nook.

These are the places I predict I'll be going when the time comes, but honestly I've got an egg in every basket just in case.
