What will everyone's Dwarves be called? And will you all be making your own background story for your Dwarf? Before he/she joined the Carta? Zhenya, dwarf warrior, and Volya, dwarf rogue. Possibly a third dwarf, but male. Some of it is a bit up in the air still. I still haven't seen a female dwarf warrior in armor (and Zhenya will not be romancing IB after all, I'm pretty certain they aren't compatible, so I need to create someone that is ). It's too bad they removed dual wielding for warriors, I could get my head around a slender dual wielding warrior a lot more easily than as a tank with no mass behind it.

Background Story (Sorry if it's boring)

 

Maltök Cadash is an Dwarven Warrior who wields a Shield & Axe. While his House and is baby sister functions their organisation on the surface, he deals with the transport of weapons, armor and Lyrium from Dust Town, then sends the items up to the surface; so that they can make a profit from their buyers and "help" the Chantry to control their Templars via the Lyrium, as they battle the Mages. After a few weeks, Maltök gets suspicious as he hasn't received any letters from his young sister Yileke; he knows that something terrible has happened, when word gets to him and informs him that Yileke was delivering Lyrium to the Chantry, his sister never returned to the Carta base that is stationed on the surface. 

 

Maltök who is filled with rage, anger and hatred because he couldn't protect or look after his little sister; he leaves for the surface, to join the rest of his house and to spy on the Chantry, hoping to find any clues of his missing sister. With the anger that his inside of him, Maltök mistrusts Humans, The Chantry/Templars and Mages.

 

***In the Inquisition*** Now that the Order of The Inquisition has been reinstated, he still has that pain and anger inside of him; as the company has gained members, Maltök only trusts his fellow Dwarven brother Varric and Sera. With each day within the Inquisition, Maltök slowly begins to trust the other members of his party but still finds it hard to trust Humans, Maltök begins to fall for Cassandra; hoping that his feelings show him a clear picture and teach him that, not all Humans are bad and maybe one day...Maltök and Cassandra develop a relationship built on trust and maybe he will love her, more than the Stones of Orzammar.

Bleh, that one has the butt wiggle, emphasized by whatever weird thing they had her wearing. So, gear is definitely important if you want to minimize it. Wonder if they'd consider releasing a list of gear that let you avoid the over-feminization?

 

Edit: OK, I looked at it again (I honestly am trying to give this stuff a chance) and most of what bugged me is actually the skirt to her coat, not her butt wiggling. But dang, I wish they'd give us hope of some DLC to fix some of this. Even a hint would help.

Well, I've glanced through everything I could find, but not a female dwarven warrior to be found. Apparently the only three or four people who want to play one are already in here . There's the one linked above with a dwarven rogue, but I couldn't get an upclose screen shot easily, and I'm afraid I found it too annoying to watch long enough to try to get one.

I really, really wish they'd show us even a minute or two of footage of a female dwarf warrior in full armor. The closest I've been able to see so far has been that rogue on the German video, and it's hard to judge how much difference the armor might make.

I'm in a dilemma now. Everyone here knows that I've always been on the archer train, but I also want to play on the hard difficult. My problem is that I'm planning on having Varric, Cole, and Vivienne. Without a warrior on my team, I feel I may face a lot of problem. I know I want to play on hard on my first go around, and I want those party members. I don't really want to be a warrior, because I love bows so much, but I might have to in order to have those members and play on hard.

Yeah if you play Hard you will most likely need a tank.  All those characters are rather squishy.  And Cole would be your only melee character. (Unless you respec Varric)

1. I wasn't interested in Iron Bull. Now he joins the race for Merry's heart    The contestants now are: Sera, Josie, Iron Bull, Blackwall

 

2. I'm so happy the game gives us a straight warning that we begin a relationship with NPC - that's what I wanted to see It won't be like this - "flirt, flirt, flirt, OMG why are spooning?!"

 

3. I loved how female dwarf looks in pyjama. I think they fattened her a bit? She ain't so skinny anymore
