Yea I am going for the top row, second column hair style.
I'm thinking either top row, second column or middle row, fourth column. I'll have to see which looks best. I'm also not opposed to middle row, third column. But that's about all for me. How about you?
I like the idea of Ces "slipping" from time-to-time because of his background. Interesting take on it.
I think that Graeme will lean towards the mages. There's a similarity between a mage who can't control the fact that they were born with magical powers and are in a bad situation because of it and a dwarf born into a Carta family with few other options. I think he'll sympathize with them. I'll have to wait to see how it will shake out, though. I want to allow his character to evolve naturally. I like coming up with a vague background (like these ones), but not plan too far into the game so that it can be more organic. It gets harder to do that after having played the game, though. I just restarted DA: O with a lady Brosca and I gave up after completing a few of the faction quests because it was boring to know exactly where that story was going to already. It's one of the reasons why I'm so excited about DA: I. I'm ready for a new adventure.
Flaw characters is what they push at my school, and I think letting your background determine how you make your decisions in future choices adds a lot to the character and story. A ex-criminal might make some bad choices, but I shouldn't be able to reload and make a different choice. I'll live with the outcome of my decision. We can't restart in real life, so why not role play that. Ces will make some bad choices, but he will also make some good choices. Nobody is perfect, and with action comes responsibility, which Ces won't be used to at first, but will try to make the best of the situation. He knows dwarves get overlook from time to time, so he will also be thinking of the race as a whole with the new organization on his shoulder. But only when the inquisition grows in power, and he gets the attention of more people that will be looking at him with the dwarves in their mind.
Yea I will play kind of in the moment, but I'll would want Ces to make reckless decisions at first, but then later become better at making the hard decision. I want that character arc!!!!
My Cadash and Brosca would both get along at first, but Brosca wouldn't agree with him about the Maker. Ces is going to grow up much faster than my Brosca did. Warden-Commander Brosca would be on the same level of maturity as Ces Cadash. Brosca is older than Ces Cadash now since Dragon Age Awakening already happened, so they would get along now just fine.
