Am I the only one who is going to use stubble on my female dwarf? I kind of want her to be a rough-around-the-edges Carta thug warrior, so it makes sense for her. But I haven't seen any other dwarf gals with stubble yet.
I haven't gotten around to making her yet. I've played around with it, but never actually started with her. I'll post her up once I get her finished.

Awww I'm sorry to hear you can't play the game yet. Hopefuly your daughter will fix the computer.
Thanks! The desktop is an easy fix, but I don't mess with the OS on my own, and we'd known it might be a problem. The laptop was a shock, though, since it was bought with the expectation of playing DAI on temporarily if the desktop needed work.
yes you cannot be left out of all this exctment D:
I'm enjoying the game stories, at least. And from the sound of the PC problems, maybe I'll be happier playing after it's been patched anyway. ![]()

Not me. I want my female dwarf to be tough and very aggressive, but stubble is going in a direction that puzzles me personally. Though it's a nice option for someone who wants to do a trans character, so I'm happy it's there for the people who want that as an option.

Those freckles. ![]()
I have to say that out of all the restrictions and downgrading that the 360 has, the loss of freckles is the one that stings the most......

OKAY HERE SHE IS. Hella Cadash. Wish I'd known about the CC darkness issue at first, because her lips didn't turn out the way I'd wanted and her skin/ hair is lighter than I thought it would be, but I am super happy anyway. ![]()

Also, some of my favorite dwarf specific moments so far. (No big plot spoilers, but tagged in case y'all don't want to see any of them. I'll keep it vague.)

You have my sympathy, Veeia. Merry fell victim to the CC darkness too (and other CC issues as well). I chose for her auburn hair (the last option to the right) and dark red lipstick. Normally her hair is brown (it's auburn / red only in full sun / or near a fireplace) and her lips are bright red. Sometimes she can look really bad in cutscenes - but overall she is similar to how she looked like in CC and I'm happy-ish with her.
That's "normal" Merry. Whe she doesn't look I call her Lady Robine Hobbit ![]()

Also being an archer is great fun (I've never played this sub-class in DA before). And the dragons on pre-order bow are divine (so much detail on a weapon!) I think it's the first time in history that BW's pre-order stuff is really worth pre-ordering.

I'm still waiting!
...A blizzard has closed down my village, so probably no mail until Monday.
ON THE BRIGHT SIDE THIS MEANS I CAN FINISH MY NANOWRIMO NOVEL WITHOUT BEING TEMPTED.
Probably.

Everyone's dwarves are adorable. I'm curious that almost every female Inquisitor I've seen looks about 16 - 20ish, definitely younger than I was expecting. It seems a little less pronounced with the elves, and but much more so with the dwarves (the qunari are hard to judge because of the horns).

You can make your character old without a trouble - it's just a matter of choosing the right complexion in CC - wrinkles are available. So you can totally create an elder dwarf if you so desire

Cool! I was just surprised so many looked noticeably under 20, which was supposed to be the lower age for the inquisitor.

I definitely made mine look younger because she's supposed to be young. Hilariously enough, I did that because I thought I was going to romance Sera but now I'm with Blackwall. Good thing age differences don't really bother me.
I also mentally aged her up from 22 to 27.
I heard a lot of people are moving to climb the wall now. Funny how many people wasn't talking about him before. ![]()

He's pretty cool tho. I love him and Dorian together. Too bad he's not bi, I'd so be down for them getting together if unromanced.

Veeia did you flirt with anyone else or just with Blackwall? I have a convo in which I can flirt with Josie for the first time - but I'm not sure I want to romance her (perhaps Blackwall, Sera or the Iron Bull would be a better match?). She calls me "Mistress Cadash" which is very cool, but she seems kind of judgy / squimish / not interested which I found off putting.

Awww. I have these "maybe I should start over" moods from time to time so I fully understand you. However, when I loook at your heroine she doesn't look bad without eyebrows - she's just a hard cookie
