Since on the Cassandra topic some people seem to be really rude if you opt to share Cadash/Cassandra related stuff (seriously, I don't care if you don't care for dwarves, but what's with the jerkish attitude about it if someone posts stuff related to the pairing?), I figured I'd post this here too, where maybe it'll be more appreciated:

I uploaded a video of the romance culmination scene with my dwarf. It's slightly NSFW and Cassandra does make a slightly spoilery comment about the Elder One near the end, so it's not recommended you watch it if you haven't gotten to Skyhold yet.

BLESS YOUR SOUL! I've been searching all over YouTube for moar Cadash x Cassandra. (Actually... Cadash x anyone! There's a serious lack of dwarf lovin' in these vids.)

Happy to share. :) Am considering doing a series of "Cadash Courts Cassandra" videos of the romance at different points if there's enough interest in it. May even do some fan art eventually, after I finish my qunari playthrough.

Bless, bless, bless. I know folks here would appreciate it, at least! Eventually the Dwarfquisitors shall seduce ALL the LIs... except Solas and Cullen, haha. ;)

You might be in the minority. If there was an in-game reason for them having stubble (like qunari horns or casteless tattoos), then I'd consider it. Otherwise it just seems like a pointless nod to the Tolkien dwarves.

Here's Nogna Cadash, 2H warrior. I love how she throws her weight in her swings and causes the ground to crack. Enjoying the game so far. No idea on who she'll romance. I spent too long in Hinterlands and didn't get Blackwall, Iron Bull, and others until level 9ish. Whoops. =p

Nogna looks awesome! I really like her. I think she's the best female dwarf we've seen so far. Great Job Gilsa!

...why would people be rude about Cadash/Cass? I'm absolutely rolling a dwarf for her, hard to imagine it any other way, tbh.

(And I don't say that just as a dwarf fan, I think id do a Qunari for Dorian, probably, so I'm willing to branch out even on the non race gated LIs XD)

Some people think dwarves are for comic value only. Which is... ridiculous, to say the least. Have they ever been to Orzammar? Half of it's the ghetto and half of it's Ancient Rome.

It's only because bioware haven't offered us any serious dwarves, which is why my inquisitor is serious about some things.

I really don't care if others don't like dwarves, or don't like them with Cassandra; it was mainly the attitude that seemed to convey I had no right/something was wrong with me (or anyone else) wanting to share a dwarf/Cassandra video on a freaking Cassandra fan thread. Hell, I even said it was dwarf/Cassandra and put it under a spoiler tag (partly due to NSFWness and partly due to minor spoilers) in case anyone really didn't want to see it for any reason, including not liking dwarves. I'm still kind of annoyed about it, to be honest. I know it's not a big deal but I just have little patience for people who are jackasses about other players sharing their own Inquisitors and their LIs, regardless of personal preference. There's a difference between having a preference and belittling other players for a different preference. I'm hardly going to bother anyone who rolls a non-dwarf with Cassandra, and heck, I enjoy seeing other art and videos of others' plays.

Sigh. Sorry for the rant. Back on topic, I'll see what I can do in the coming week to post more videos, but in the meantime, here's some more screenshots of my Cadash, Dorn. Under spoiler tag so I don't clutter the form with tons of pics:

Spoiler

And here's a few shots from Cassandra's romance when she confronts you about flirting (I intend to do a video on this one next, and then perhaps go back to the time the Inquisitor catches her reading):

Spoiler

If you guys like Dorn and want to see more, romance arc or no, I've got plenty of screenshots to filter though; I took literally several thousands. :P Not that I'd spam all of them, but I've got a lot I could pick some gems from.

I'd thought about a qunari mage for Cassandra just because of the whole Seeker/Mage thing (can't do that with a dwarf), and a dwarf rogue for Josephine, but now I'm thinking they did the dwarf/Cass romance well enough that she needs a dwarf rogue in her life. Besides, Josephine's adorable, but the relationship lacks fire to me, so I'll give her a 7' qunari mage girlfriend to take home to meet the family :P.

Don't let small (in mind) people get to you. There are some weird people out there (I admit I find the popularity of playing humans odd in a fantasy RPG, isn't RPing someone else most of the fun?) I thought the video was good enough to reconsider who I might pair with Cass, and I appreciate the work they did to make it look romantically believable and not comical.

That's almost what I'm doing, except I rolled a male qunari for her. Planning on eventually doing a human female for Iron Bull, and maybe another female (race unsure yet) for Sera.

Thanks. :) I'm sure I'll be over it tomorrow, it's just when people are unnecessarily jerkish and judgmental to others (not just to me) without provocation, it really agitates me as I'm more the kind to "share the love and celebrate diversity" type, ha. I've very much appreciated the kind words in this thread so far though, it's helped me feel better. <3

Yeah, I thought they did a fantastic job in that scene, it was very sweet. Even in other scenes where Cass kisses Cadash and she has to squat down to do it, it comes off as endearingly cute and somewhat silly (rather than outright clownish) to me. But then, I'm a fairly short person with a fairly tall significant other who's about a foot taller than me, so perhaps I enjoy it because I can relate.

My preference is for female PCs, but I'll run a male when that's the only way to see a romance in person. Sera's getting a female dwarf warrior I've been planning for months, Zhenya. I originally planned for her to romance IB, then when I realized they were not compatible, considered Blackwall, but I've decided Sera's craziness and independence suits her much better. (Don't get me wrong, I love Iron Bull, but it would take a major re-write of her personality to go where he goes.)

This tends to be a supportive thread, and yes, "share the love and celebrate diversity."

Is there any video footage of a dwarf kissing Cass? I don't think I've seen it. I've seen a female dwarf kissing Iron Bull, which I thought was well done.

My preference is for male PCs - as you say, isn't the main fun of RPing to be someone else? For me it's more fun to play males most of the time, as it lets me be someone else more easily. That, and beards. Still, I vastly prefer games that give me the option, because sometimes it's also nice to be a kickass female hero, and there's a few games where I prefer my female PCs.

And yeah, I can understand that. I had a pretty clear idea for my male dwarf for months and months, and a somewhat solid idea for my qunari. The others are in flux beyond what world state to use and LI choice, so it's easier for me to adapt to a personality that suits the LI I have planned for them.

One reason why I enjoy it. :D I love comparing and contrasting our different choices and preferences and where things overlap, I just don't see the need for belitting anyone who played differently than me. If anything, it lets me see another side of the game I might not otherwise.

Uploaded? Not that I know of. But it does happen and it's from one of the scenes I intend to upload over the next few days if I get a chance. :) But, for now, here's a couple screenshots I was able to find fairly fast:

Oh my god, that last shot with Cass bending over is adorable. Someone hold me!

Almost everybody's getting a dwarf in my upcoming playthroughs, lol. I like the idea of Cass, Dorian, Josie, and Blackwall with dwarves... Bull too, but he's getting my male Lavellan. :P Not sure about Sera yet. Leliana wound up with my Brosca, Alistair with another DC (unfinished)... I'm beginning to think I especially like human x dwarf pairings. I shipped Nate and Sigrun in Awakening and wanted Hawke to hook up with Varric in DA2.

i just tihnk dwarfs are rly rad ok

Oh, thank you! Yes, those do look well done. I haven't really planned clear personalities for most of my PTs yet, just a general idea of what race/class/gender/romance combinations I want, but Zhenya and a human mage, Ryumka, are pretty well developed. Fortunately, Ryumka's planned romance appears to be an almost perfect fit (which may have been the only one :P.)

I just like being able to be a kick-ass female in a game, it's always appealed to me. But at the same time, I love seeing the choices everyone else makes and can enjoy them, I don't expect other people to want the exact same things out of a game that I do. What would be the fun of everyone running slightly different variations on the same runway-perfect human inquisitor romancing the exact same person with the same dialogue choices?

I love my dwarf. I love how the game makes her feel like a character, few games have gotten me more in her role. Like before, She was "nice" or direct or forceful, but as the game gets more tense she seems happier, like she has found her place.

My fiance made a joke character who she named Herald because Qunari name themselves for who they are and she found it funny. He was a bit of a jokester. She is making more serious statements now and he views himself as truly a herald. It is a bit inspirational, because he views the people around him as his flock so to speak. He's like some holy mage priest.

And my dwarf even played off her hesitancy and disbelief anyone would believe in her. It is kinda beautiful.

I'm 14 hours in, and still exploring the Hinderland. I don't know how people beat this game in 15-17 hours. The only thing that I really have a problem with is the lack of banter, and when the banter actually trigger, it seen they aren't finish with their conversation when the banter cuts off. Overall, I'm enjoying every minute of my adventure inquisitor dwarf,  :D . I just want to keep playing with him, and cherish the fact of being a dwarf again. No rushing from me!

People are claiming to have beaten the game in under 17 hours? I have to wonder just how much content they skipped. Certainly they never spoke to anyone that they didn't have to, and probably skipped through the conversations without even reading the texts. The shortest I've heard was about 50 hours, and I know several people over 20 hours without making it out of the Hinterlands. It's actually one of the reasons I like spoiling myself somewhat; I don't feel rushed to find out how everything comes out. :P
