and I have been a sucker for dark auburn hair in all the dragon age games to me it just looks the best out of all the other colors
I was also helped with the make up by tish she gave me some tips and shading advice while I kept feeding her screenshots
It was fun. But my daughters will never believe anyone was taking makeup advice from me

She looks great! Sure, there are some scenes when our characters look wonky especially in the beginning, but it pays off later. There's this long cinematic that happens much later on and the person you lovingly created in the CC is definitely what you see there. Hang in there.

Dwarves have always been my favourite fantasy race but I feel like I can't play one in this game. The beards are just down right terrible. You just look like a short human! A PROPER dwarf has a beard that goes down to at least mid-chest/stomach. At least!

I thinks it's more like they were just too lazy to make good beards. Heck, even the DA:O beards were better. it's just like the Qunari hair issue all over again. And no, I like DA's fem dwarves.
Heck even the dwarf architecture and/or statues have better beards. There is really nothing stopping them from making longer beards.

I actually like the beards, especially the one with the braids. You have a image of how the dwarves suppose to look, but they don't always have to be the two-handed axe wielding long beard drinking comical person. You know you're a dwarf, your party knows, the NPCs knows, so you don't have to think of it as a short human. Besides there are some distinct feature that dwarves have without the beard, like the big nose and ears. The chubby face and body, and even the tattoos.

Or... more likely I'm just afraid how longer beards would look like if BioWare designed them. They have many talents but hair and beard design is surely not one of them. They would probably just look like shiny metal plates that don't connect properly to the face! 
I guess I'm stubborn and set in my ways (like a dwarf! ) But since I have been playing dwarves in rpgs, mmo's D&D and stuff like Warhammer and reading tolkien since I was a kid. I just feel wrong being a dwarf with a beard that isn't even as long as Blackwall's. My younger brother has a beard longer than any of the dwarf beards in game. Just 1 is all I'm asking...is that so much? Dwarves in DA lore and artwork have been shown to have pretty acceptable beards, heck even all their statues have awesome beards.
It is exactly like how the qunari people got shafted in the hairstyle section.
I hear ya. I think the lack of longer beards may be due to clipping issues. Blackwall probably sidesteps that because of his custom armor.

Thanks! My main weapon is a bow. So yeah...
From other news - I'll probably romance Blackwall. Josie clearly isn't interested (hint - when a girl asks you if you want to go on a walk with her you say yes if you care about her) and Sera seems to be on very early level of romance - like it's still innocent flirting. On the other hand Blackwall is drama already and the whole "I know you have feelings for me" stuff so I doubt any other contestants can catch up with him.
Is the first sex the point of no return? (or is it - in case of Blackwall - a visit to the battlements?) At what point do we declare which LI we want?
