Hah! A Tevinter outcast who feels his homeland is not beyond saving, who left because his father couldn't handle his son liking other men, in a relationship with a Qunari.
And the best part is,
Anyway, I digress. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed Iron Bull's romance and it blew away even my high expctations, part of me wishes I had gotten with with Dorian on my Qunari playthrough. I recently rolled the dwarf that I had originally planned to pair Dorian with -- I made him a ginger on a whim, only to later remember that redheads are Iron Bull's favorites. How could I deny him? ![]()

Can I just take a moment to appreciate this thread? It's just filled with awesome people. I don't see any complaining about "agendas" or "ugly female companions" or "the game is so bad that it's fraud".
Just a bunch of people who enjoy the game for what it is and don't care how you play. Want to romance a dude with a dude? Go for it. Want to romance a gal with a dude? Go for it. And everyone wants to hear/see each other's Inquisitors and stories. It's a breath of fresh air and why I'm hanging out in this thread much more lately.
Dwarf lovers, much like Thedosian dwarves, are pretty damned awesome. Keep it up, fellow dwarf lovers!

Agreed! Though I think dwarf lovers are somewhat self-filtering for people who like the less conventional. And if there were those sorts of complaints, I'd either be out of here or you'd be finding out how scathing I can really be
.

Have you finished the romance with Blackwall yet?
No, I've just started it. I'm talking my time with DA:I enjoying it - so it will be some time before it happens.

Cool, I just wondered because I haven't seen an ending video yet. Love his voice.

I'll post pictures when I reach new a Blackwall scene.
Leliana was the first SS romance I ever played through, mostly because I have had a hard time playing a male PC. I liked it so much, I'd have to say that's probably my canon world (though I always wished I could have more conversations with her about how elves were treated).
Leli is my favorite LI in all BW games (and I played all of them - well except Sonic and MDK series). She and my female city elf warden are my canon world. I tried to romance Alistair - but Leli was seducing me everytime. Even the crown of Ferelden wasn't a good enough reason for me to leave her.

It's cause we're cute - well at least some of us ![]()
Since the game launched we started to talk about our PTs and thanks to Chibi stuff like specs, skills and tactics. This thread is our own private BSN now ![]()

It's just unfair gals can't romance Cassy
Merry and her would be a match made in haven.

Yes, my Cydia was a CE too. I enjoyed all of the romances, but CE was my favorite origin. Though I admit I found the DAO Lel a little too sweet and cheerful; I really like the DAI Lel.

I miss sweet DA:O Leli. Shoe talks were awesome. DA:I Leli is just too dark. I'm trying to teach her NOT to kill people.

hmm when you said CE my dnd nerd in me went Chaotic Evil
then I was like OH CITY ELF my bad
yeah my first playthrough of DA:O was a human dual wield warrior who romanced alistair, it was such a marry sue game that I felt embarressed by it so then I made dwarf noble who started as a niave dude who slowly turned more hardened and romanced morigan
was my favorite storyline ever. also lohgain became a warden and killed the archdemon while alistair became king with Anora as queen. such a fun game ![]()
I like that Leliana is cold and hardened now. That's a amazing character arc, and it's about time that she finally showed this side. All of the things she has been through left her with these feelings.

Yes, she just saw the person she cared most about (other than possibly a romanced Warden) blown up, along with a lot of other people she knew and cared about. She's angry, grieving, and having serious religious doubts, so yes, she's not going to be the same person at this moment. I think she can be guided back to a happy medium, though.
if not at least point her to the people who need to be happy poky stabbied ![]()

That was my reaction the first time I saw the abbreviation too, but I like abbreviations
.
My first PT of DAO was a human rogue archer, romancing Alistair. Miserable PT in a lot of ways because I had the archer spec all messed up. Alistair's adorable, but a bit of a puppy at first. I eventually ran another human rogue as a dual wielder. I romanced Alistair again, but only because I wanted her to be queen. I found out later I could have romanced Zevran, had a political marriage with Alistair and kept Zevran, so I set it up that way in the Keep
. I kind of wish I'd played that one out, but I don't actually like playing humans enough to stick it out that long again. I preferred my human warrior, mostly because it was fun to pair her and Alistair up, both with sword and shield. But not enough to replay it.

Got to agree. My canon is a romanced Leliana and she even says when asked that she will "not lose her too"(My Warden was a Female Dalish). I let her spin out of control in my first game and it was sad watching the once caring and loving woman who melted my rather cold and human hating Wardens heart.
By the way Tish - did your daughter fix your computer? When are you going to play DA:I?
And here's the final three videos. Includes the epilogue after the last fight with The Elder One, so recommended you have beaten the game at least once before checking out the final video. Also included a higher-def version of the romance culmination scene than the one I originally uploaded.
I'd also like to second this thread being very welcoming and supportive, regardless of exactly what everyone's playing. This is the aspect of the fandom I like.
I also have to agree that it's worth playing a qunari at least once; I had a lot of fun with mine on my second play. It is a bit jarring at times if you just came from a dwarf play though; you're so used to everyone looking down to talk to you, now everyone's breaking their necks to stare up. ![]()
Ugh. After 99 1/2 hours, I just finished the game with my qunari warrior. Unlocked every achievement except for the two difficulty-determinant ones, the "pathfinder" one (which glitched on me), and one main-story choice determinant one that I'll get next time.
Now it's time to take a break. Play a little DAMP. Try out the new Borderlands game from Telltale.
Then, in a day or two, start in on a dwarf playthrough. I was dead set on doing Agathe, my sword and board Carta enforcer next, but now I'm thinking I might break out Graeme, my sarcastic yet good-natured dual wield rogue. I kind of want to #ridethebull to see if it holds up to the amazing romance that Dorian offered.

Oh, I guess I forgot to mention that. Her partner had a nasty respiratory bug that hadn't cleared up in time for Thanksgiving, and they didn't want to gift me with it, so they put off coming til next weekend. Which, in the greater scheme of things is a good idea (besides, they would both have been too tired to enjoy the visit). If all goes well, I'll be able to play by next Saturday night. My other daughter has offered to let me play with the CC on her computer tomorrow while I'm home and she isn't, though, which has meant I've been working extra today so I can indulge for a few hours
.
